If you’re travelling with swimming passengers, this tour offers you the chance to stay dry yet still have fun with your friends and family.
Step aboard ‘Moonraker’ our flag ship vessel, your crew will be on hand to assist you in finding a seat and serve you a welcome dink as we cruise out into Port Phillip Bay, past the amazing cliff top homes and private beaches of Sorrento and Portsea.
With your family and friends we head over to Chinaman’s Hat, a local spot where the Australian Fur Seals are waiting to show you some amazing sights. You will be amazed at the friendliness and how close you can get to these truly wild creatures.
From Chinaman’s Hat, we cruise magnificent Port Phillip Bay in search of the resident Bottle Nose Dolphins. There is no need to jump into the water, our technique will place you right next to the action – where you will have a fantastic view into the world of the dolphins.
You have the freedom to walk around the boat and enjoy the many changing sights. On the bow of the boat you can often see the dolphins swimming right beneath your feet.
Morning and Afternoon refreshments are served onboard along with lunch and snacks so you don’t need to bring anything extra along.
The memories of this experience will remain with you forever and you too will have photos and stories to share among your fellow travellers.
This tour is operated in conjunction with the 3 hour swim tour, so swimmers will be on this tour.

Tours are weather dependent and rely on suitable safe conditions. All our tours are operated on the basis of interacting with wild animals. We ask that you appreciate that they are completely wild and are not trained to interact with people. Our tours operate on a high 85% success rate of swimming and interacting with the Dolphins however we cannot guarantee them on every tour. Should you not see them you are welcome to come back any time within 30 days of your last tour for free, sorry we cannot provide refunds.
Remember to arrive 20 minutes prior to departure (30 minutes if you’re swimming)
Your tour boat is located at the end of the jetty (black bitumen walkway) next to the car ferry.
Parking can be difficult during the summer holidays, so allow extra time. We recommend parking behind Italico (restaurant at the entry to Esplanade Road) free underground parking or follow the road past Sorrento Pier up the hill to Hotel Sorrento free parking all day. – Remember your GPS does not allow for peak summer traffic so if you’re travelling from Melbourne, allow extra time as Sorrento is located in a coastal holiday area. – If you are concerned about the weather please call us, and remember we can only contact you on the phone numbers you have supplied us so keep an eye on your phone just in case we are trying to contact you.
