This personalised 3 day adventure tour, an alternative to the rough and ready outback visits, we offer outback in luxury, this encompasses the vast Outback of South Australia’s Flinders Ranges, whilst incorporating the regions native gourmet delights, native wildlife and rugged country side that is interwoven with Aboriginal dreamtime stories. Enjoy touring that travels through the Clare Valley wine region, up to the Flinders Ranges whilst having a beer at the famous Prairie Hotel at Parachilna and staying in the heart of the Flinders Ranges. Tours visit surrounding highlights such as the stunning Brachina Gorge, historic township of Quorn and picturesque Melrose.

Mary Anne and her team did an amazing job showing us around McLaren Vale and Barossa Valley.  We had wineries we wanted to visit and Mary Anne set them up.  As we did our planning at the start of the trip Mary Anne reached out, met with us - 3 varied tastes and tweaked our tour.  It was incredible.  We can't thank you enough for all you did to make these tours special.



Jayne and Jonathon were our guides and they were fun and informative.  Jayne was with us for 3 days and kept us on our toes.

She met us in Adelaide, where our Oceania ship docked, and took us to three wonderful wineries and lunch in the Barossa Valley. 



We started our tasting at Langmeil and enjoyed their selection of wines and followed with the beautiful and tasty Murray Street Winery. Then a delicious lunch at Vintners Bar & Grill, recommended by Mary Anne.  We finished our tasting experience with Two Hands, an award-winning winery that showed Shiraz at its best.



We would certainly recommend A Taste of Australia for any serious wine lover who wants to visit some of the best wineries in Australia.

Mary Anne’s knowledge of area history, culture, and local lore is extensive.  She has a personal connection with many members of the wine industry, so we were treated very well at each stop.  Mary Anne reached out to each person in the group to learn about our expectations for the day, then tailored the tour around our wishes.

					I can't imagine a bad review!  A Taste of South Australia is amazing, knowledgeable and fun!!! They can customize your tour depending on your wishes.  We spent the day enjoying wine, chocolate, and the outdoors. My only regret is we didn't have more time. Highly recommend!

					With a Taste of South Australia tour, they are absolutely tailored to your tasting preferences. Since we are in the Barossa Valley, syrah (Shiraz) is king. But it a great region for the other Rhone varietals, especially the blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mouvedre. Mary Anne is quite knowledgeable and friendly, we went to the following wineries: Keller Meister; Charles Melton; Two Hands and Torbreck Winery. They were all fantastic. Lunch was also fabulous. I highly recommend this tour.

Can't understand why he didn't understand that people having to shout at one another is a HUGE COVID risk!!! 

Really disappointed, it spoiled a great evening.

					From begining to end this was an excellent tour. I highly recommend this wine tour for the standout informative commentary; warm welcome at all the vineyards; excellent choice of wines, and delectable food. Mary Anne is a very knowledgable and passionate guide/host sharing history of the region and how different wines are made, accompanied by the  sample tastings.A very pleasurable experiece!

As 'foodies' and wine lovers, we appreciated Maryanne's depth of knowledge and high degree of professionalism. Her years' of experience were evident - she was able to quickly 'read' and was sensitive to our specific interests in food and wine, and provided us with an excellent day including a tour of a local market, a gourmet lunch and visits to a  few outstanding boutique wineries. 					We spent two full days with Mary Anne touring Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale. We love wine and come from US wine country. We had specific requests for wineries we wanted to visit, and Mary Anne arranged for us to meet most of the winemakers and have spectacular tastings. She arranged fabulous lunches, kept us on track and was incredibly knowledgeable. She went out of her way to accommodate special requests (like buying some local bread and cheese and shipping a mixed case home for us). She has our highest recommendation!

Our guide, Paul, showed us all around Adelaide and the Barossa Valley, starting with coffee and cake in Lyndoch.  From there, we stopped at two boutique wineries, then had a great lunch at Vintners Bar & Grill, followed by another winery stop, a cheese stop, and finally a chocolate stop.  



Paul knows his wines and selected wineries that fit our taste.  He also is an expert on the history of the Adelaide area. He made our day very special, and made us want to visit Adelaide again.

We had an excellent day with Tony touring the Barossa and Adelaide Hills.  Both he and Mary Anne were very attentive to our wants and needs. We had one in our party that had a leg injury and they made sure the locations we visited were aware to make the visit as enjoyable as possible. Now to the countryside and the wines;  outstanding!  Shaw and smith in Adelaide hills was beautiful as was Torbreck in the Barossa. And Tony was a superb guide who made our day even more enjoyable. Thank you so much!
