Fun and Beautiful Really beautiful experience and well organised. Pickup from hotel was easy, good amount of time given at each spot to explore and enjoy, would highly recommend. The astro bbq dinner was enjoyable, the astro guy and host was fun and friendly

Great tour guide The food presentation was meh (paper napkins as plates) but the wine was good! The tour guide/bus driver was awesome.

Spectacular Kata Tjuṯa. Fabulous morning, early 6am pickup. First stop sunrise at Uluru lookout. A bit underwhelming as really there was not much sun or change of colour of the rock. Then a drive to Kata Tjuṯa. A fabulous hike through Waḻpa Gorge. Really spectacular! Then a stop off for some photos of the Olga’s. Overall a great morning. Would highly recommend. Driver and guide were great.

Rain enhanced experience When the tour departed it rained a bit and we were a bit disappointed for a sunset tour. Fortunately it stopped and we got to walk the whole trail. The unexpected bonus was that the rain/cloud actually enhanced the sunset view, with dramatic lighting and even a small rainbow. The tour guides are knowledgeable and friendly, highly recommended.

Don’t recommend anyone going on this trip if Michelle is your tour guide for me this trip was the worst trip. I have don I have done so many trips with you guys but this was the worst trip of my life. The King canyons won and it was way too costly. I did it for over $350. The tourist guide didn’t had good customer service skills. She was throwing tantrums instead of this string Trip being the humorous one. It was the worst one. Her name was Michelle. I did so many trips with this company. AATK Kings but this was the worst trip ever. Don’t recommend anyone going to King Canyon if Michelle is your tour guide. I wish I could get a refund back taking out all the charges of the vehicle petrol and everything.

Great place and worth the trip The tour was great allowing enough time to see and listening to explications. The sunset experience was great and the viewing area great. The BBQ great also and the stargazing comment good

One thing to improvise the guide from Japam had a very strong accent and was difficult to endurance d'urine the uluru visit. Fortunately the driver from the bus was providing clarification and was easier to understand.

Bucket list experience This was an exceptional experience, highly recommend if you are making the trip to Uluṟu. It’s an early start but well worth it. Breakfast stop is great. The climb up the canyon is steep (around 500 steps) but you will be rewarded once you get there. Definitely the highlight of our 5 nights at Uluṟu. Staff were friendly and incredibly knowledgeable.

Amazing light display and a sunrise view Early morning trip out to the Field Of Lights but well worth it. Just an amazing sight once you get to the top of a dune and see it in the distance. We had a good nearly an hour to walk around the display on our own, just spectacular.
Then another sunrise to view in the Red Desert with view over to Uluru and the Olgars. Seen sunrise on previous 2 days but each one was super and slightly different and the same goes for this morning.

Save your money, don’t book Waste of time. Guide talked way too much while saying nothing. Couldn’t answer any questions. Took 10 minutes to tell 2 sentence stories. Not at all worth paying this exorbitant price; just book the hop on/hop off bus and DIY.

We are from Sydney, New South Wales. We booked the sunrise Field of light tour basic one and the sunset basic. As we’re on a budget.
I wanted to leave a review to let others know that these are the only people that you should be touring Uluru with.

Their personalities and warmth and humour on tours were second to none really lovely. People made all the difference. I was super cold on the sunrise tour and one of the women on May 14. I’ll be writing to the company lent me a jacket and it made all the difference.

If you are thinking about doing sunrise or sunset, go with these people.

Always, no expectations no disappointments but these people blew me out of the water. Could not have spent my money better anywhere else.

Uluru sunset The colour of the rock at sunset was beyond belief, amazing experience

Support staff - amazing! Rim Walk Views - Incredible! Staff on board - Rachel (driver), and Dani ( guide) ensured we were safe and well looked after for the entire day.
Being a little older and certainly less fit than the rest of the group, I was challenged by this Rim Walk - but Dani was full of encouragement to ensure I had a positive experience. The Rim Walk is not for the feint-hearted, but I wanted to see the most stunning views for myself - as I’d heard so many amazing comments about the scenery - and, despite being exhausted, accomplishing this task will remain with me forever - but only possible with Dani’s encouragement!!!
Dani and Rachel - worth your weight in gold!!!
PS - I found using hiking poles a huge help in providing extra leg power when scrambling up some of the inclines.

An Amazing Sunset Experience The Field of Light Dinner (Sound Of Silence) package which we bought was indeed the right choice for our 1 night stay in Ayers Rock. We spent 3 days in Alice Springs prior to this, and travelled by the AAT Kings Tour Bus to Outback Hotel& Lodge in Ayers Rock. The bus journey took about 7 hours as there were 2 stops in between.
From our hotel, it was just a 10-minute bus ride to our Field Of Light Dinner where we had very amazing views of Uluru before the sun began to set, while sipping sparkling wine/beer ( there were choices of other drinks too) and enjoying Canapes.
We were then guided to a 3-Course buffet dinner under a clear night sky, illuminated by the many stars and bright moon.
The food were just delicious and there was a star talker session too, talking about the constellation.
Finally, the unforgettable experience of walking through the colourful glowing lights on the ground "Field Of Light" in the thousands of them.
To take note, there are many flies and mosquitoes in Uluru, which tend to stick on our face and head. Advisable to bring along a head net.
To also wear a pair of covered up walking shoes to avoid our feet exposed to the fine red sand on the ground while walking.

SEIT organised tour covering a base walk round the Urulu rock. The experience started before sunrise as we journeyed from our hotel to the base of Urulu with Michael our driver and guide for the trek. We experienced Urulu in the darkness and then as the sun rose we saw it changing colours. We joined a small group formed mainly form Australians who had travelled from different parts to Australia and the trek was a very friendly, informative and enjoyable trek.

Friendly and professional Very nice tour well organized. They are really kind expecially with me and my wife. We came late to the bus because we’ve been ipnotized by sunrise over Uluru and they didn’t say anything and we had also a special device with all infos in our language. I enjoyed also the short trek in a gorge of Olgas mountain. No snakes along my trail ..

My husband and I are enjoyed our Kings Canyon Rim Walk and also Uluru Morning Guided Base Walk. Dani and the bus drivers were fantastic tour guides, made everyone feel welcomed and comfortable. They went above and beyond to ensure our safety and kept everything running smoothly. Their knowledge was very impressive. We were very happy to have them us our tour guides we would recommend their services to everyone. Thank you 🙂

Do it if you have the time ​We had an absolutely amazing experience on the Kings Canyon Day Trip from Ayers Rock (Uluru)! It’s a long day at around 13 hours, but it is completely worth it for everything you see and experience.
Our guide, Michelle, was fantastic, so knowledgeable and informative, with a clear and engaging way of delivering information that made the whole journey even more enjoyable.
We completed the Rim Walk, which was breathtaking and definitely a highlight of the trip. The scenery is unforgettable and truly unique.
Breakfast was incredible and a great way to start such a big day. As an added bonus, we also stopped at Mount Connor (Atila) on the way back, which was a wonderful extra experience.
Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area, it’s a big day, but one you won’t regret!

Amazing Field of Light Installation We decided to view the Field of Light installation with the added benefit of watching the sunrise. We were picked up on time by AAT Kings and taken to the Field of Light and were able to just wander through the illuminated installation as all paths lead back to the start. We had our phone torches to guide us as we walked through and the total silence is amazing. Watched a beautiful sunrise with Uluru in the background and if you turn and look behind you can see Kata Tjuta in the distance. Make sure to have fly nets handy as soon as there is enough light the flies are all over you.

Great trip! Did the 5hr experience which included a couple of short walks around Uluru which included the sunset moment too. Went with “Se it tours” Andy our guide was super engaging and knew so much too. Came away better informed about the specialness of Uluru as well as having the amazing opportunity to see the sun set around it

Good but the sunset was the highlight overall. Overall trip good but the sunset was amazing !!
38 degrees so maybe have some wooden seating in place where the covered areas are prior to going ing the cultural centre when giving the talks

Also when in the heat maybe a briefer talk at the different sites at Uluru itself as I could see some people were finding it difficult and were switching off a little.

At the sunset site maybe could split into 2 side by side with a bit of space as the one site spoilt such a special experience with so many people around because of this if I ever came again I would probably hire a car

Good value for money and a living memory Great sunset, guide, barbecue and star talk . It was good that we were a small party of us too. Lucky too as the following evening it rained and the trip was called off

Worth the very early morning start !!! Worth the 4.30am pickup !!!
Taken to a viewing platform to watch the sunrise over Uluru. Breakfast wasn’t included, but they offered coffee, tea and hot chocolate and some cookies.
Once the sun was up, we had a 45 minute ride to Kata Jjuta where we walked into Wolfpack Gorge, this was over very rocky and uneven terrain but worth it for spectacular views with sun coming through the rocks.
On way back to the hotel, we stopped at a viewing platform where we could see 6 or 7 of the 36 domes all at once
But my top tip is get a fly net there are hundreds of them and they're all over you when out and about I didn't need lunch as I'd eaten so many of them !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Totally Worth It!!! The view of Uluru was spectacular. The staff was extremely kind. The food was DELICIOUS and plentiful.
It was a beautifully clear night with the most stars we’ve ever seen. The guide was friendly and professional. He let us know that he was not an astrologer. He only knew a few facts about a few stars he pointed out but he did relate them to how the Anangu may have used them to navigate. Our adult children weren’t thrilled when first hearing about this excursion but quickly changed their mind being there. The 7 of us highly recommend this tour!!!

Good Way to See Uluru and Kata Tjuta This tour began super early so we could catch the sunrise over the rock. Unfortunately, it was cloudy, but we still got great views of Uluru. There was a light breakfast afterwards. From there we headed to Kata Tjuta, which I really knew nothing about. It was a real bonus to see this other site that is sacred to the people indigenous to the land.
Be sure to use insect repellent. Flies everywhere.

Spectacular, amazing, a must see Viewing the changing colours of Uluru as the sun sets are something everyone should experience. When the sun set the sky became alive with stars, pictures can do this awe inspiring spectacle justice. The barbeque is of great quality including kangaroo in the range of available meats. The whole experience is something they will stay with us forever

Good tour Wonderful tour. The base walk to the water hole and sunset experience were amazing. The aboriginal stories were entertaining.

I enjoyed the Kings Canyon day tour Friday 27 December. Michelle (Rim Walk guide) and Jake (Creek Bed guide and bus driver extraordinaire) were fabulous and friendly. A very pleasant bus trip followed by a nice breakfast. I opted for the Creek Bed Walk with 2 others. Jake provided relaxed and informative knowledge about local history, wildlife and vegetation. Very cruisy and pretty walk - strolling through Namatjira paintings. The rest of the intrepid crew did the rim walk.
After our walk we went back to resort - I took a helicopter tour then had snacks and 2 swims at the pool. Luxurious. So many lovely birds, some butterflies and other critters. A couple more stops on the way home made for a great day. Thankyou

As an Australian, all my life I have wanted to see Uluṟu 🇦🇺😍
I was so appreciative from the support of Rachael when I phoned and booked in and her fantastic knowledge of the tours I needed to do, to encompass and appreciate everything that Uluṟu has to offer, so that I didn’t miss anything - there was no way that I could have organised the 6 different tours I did, without her guidance.
It was a dream come true 😍🇦🇺🤩
Every guided tour I did, was done professionally and perfectly - I couldn’t have asked for more! 😍
One of the very special moments was the drone display over Uluṟu, with a class of young indigenous children included as well - they were just beautiful, interacted with other children there and behaved perfectly 😍
It made the night even more special 🥰

This company are a class act. In total, we had 4 tours / transfers with them from Alic Springs and Uluru and it all worked like clockwork.

The West Macdonnell tour from Alice Sorings with Pierre was superb! His knowledge and humour really made the tour!

The transfer from AS to Yulara was long but excellent. Regular stops made it easy and the remote service area with emus were amusing!

And then Uluru. More amazing than we expected with fantastic commentary from Ned on the sunrise tour. Again, many stops and very well managed.

Then the sunset tour and BBQ. Absolutely lovely, guided by the incredibly knowledgeable Celia. Just brilliant. And the BBQ in the middle of nowhere after dark - just amazing. What a lovely experience. We didn’t get to see the stars or Milky Way because of cloud but it was still amazing.

And Rachel’s final fun fact on the coach on the way back - I won’t spoil it but very good!

Finally - AATKing’s coaches feel a bit higher quality than others we’ve experienced. Aircon that work, good knee room and much quieter engines. This makes a difference when you’re on a coach for 12 out of 36 hours.

We’re not massive fans of coach tours but these guys are excellent.

Magical experience A special experience to see Bruce Munro's amazing Field of Lights. As the lights dim on the installation, and the stars fade, the sun rises providing incredible views of Uluru and also Kata Tjuta from a special platform. Tea and coffee and biscuits are provided and welcome compensation for the 4.45am start! Guides are very knowledgeable and provide clear instructions. Delivered back to the hotel in time for breakfast!

Beautiful vista Beautiful sunset. Great wine and nibbles. It’s a very populated area so manage your expectations but everyone is enjoying the shared moment. Due to the number of people our guide didn’t check on those needing to return back to the resort. This left a confusing situation of trying to board a remaining bus. All resolved but a tad disappointing.

What a FANTASTIC day! It was a long, but fantastic day!

I did the canyon wall walk and my wife did the valley walk. We both enjoyed our walks. Being 66, the first part of the canyon wall walk was a bit challenging (starting the first climb of 500 steps), but after that, the walk was very doable. Both walks had great views. The guides were knowledgeable and interesting. They were very aware of their surroundings and conscious of safety. The breakfast was good and filling and was included with the trip. Lunch had a good selection and was also good which you buy.

I would highly recommend this trip. You see and experience the outback. It is an amazing long day!

Dinner Under the Stars Wonderful experience having a dinner under the stars. We started off with canopies and drinks as we enjoyed the sunset over Uluru. We were than escorted to our dining area where we enjoyed a 3 course meal. It was a buffet meal with plenty of options. You can be guaranteed that you don’t leave hungry or thirsty!

Lovely experience under the stars. Uluru is am incredible sight at sunset. Drinks were great. Nice nibbles though wouldnt call them canapes. Barbecue was good. Variety of meats, steak, chicken, kangaroo. though our steaks were s bit chewy. Sides of both veg and salads great. Dessert very nice. Drinks readily available. Star talk was intetesting. Would have liked more of this. Guides very friendly, helpful and informative.

Perfection. Can’t recommend enough. My wife and I stayed for 4 nights in September 2025 (without our kids) for our anniversary, and I can not fault this resort in any way.
Our stay and experience here was amazing, and I can’t recommend it enough to anyone considering or on the fence.
Our room was perfect with a view of Uluru from our balcony, a welcome anniversary cheese and fruit platter waiting for us, the food for dinner at the Pool Bar was exceptional and the staff were polite, friendly and professional. What more could you want?

We had the best time on this tour Uluru sunrise and Kata Tjuta. Our tour guide Marc was entertaining and hilarious. Took the time to explain everything and elevated our experience.

AAT Kings Kings Canyon tour Amazing tour. Alex is an incredible tourguide. I didn't choose to do the rim walk, but his stories during the were incredible.
Brad is an amazing chauffeur but also as a guide an the creek walk. Breakfast was delicious. A long day but worth it. And as an extra we saw Mt Conner (from a distance) but it was a nice addition.

General recommendation AAT Kings I traveled with AAT Kings a lot during my stay at Ayers Rock Resort. From the airport transfers to Field of Light etc. Kind and friendly drivers but it's also a nice touch both guide and driver are outside at the bus to welcome you are say goodbye. I was really impressed by that. So thank you AAT Kings!

Unforgettable Field of Light Experience We recently did the Uluṟu Field of Light tour. We chose the tour only, and it was amazing—definitely something you must do when visiting Uluṟu. The tour bus picks you up from your hotel or campground and drops you back afterwards, with everything included in the ticket price.

Great experience! The tour was a great experience. Everything went as expected including the itinerary. The guide provided us with the perfect amount of information.
The snacks could be improved with a bit more cultural variety

Alex and Steph were absolutely fantastic tour guides for the sacred Uluru sunset experience. Their sense of humour and approachable nature made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. They were always smiling, and their knowledge of the area was impressive, answering every question with ease.

They went above and beyond to ensure our safety and kept everything running smoothly. Their promptness in getting us back to the buses was much appreciated.

We were extremely happy with Alex and Steph and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an unforgettable Uluru sunset experience!

The scenery and overall trip were absolutely stunning, and I greatly enjoyed the rim walk itself and the accessibility provided. The driver was also kind and professional.

Unfortunately, the experience with our guide left much to be desired. While I appreciate an emphasis on safety, the risks of the rim walk were overstated repeatedly to the point of scaring a number of people in the group, which felt unnecessary. During the trek, the guide required everyone to stay behind her and would raise her voice at anyone who didn’t, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. There were also a few remarks made that came across as inappropriate and unprofessional.

For the cost of this tour, I had expected to feel supported and encouraged, not treated like a school child. While the views were breathtaking, the lack of patience and professionalism from the guide significantly impacted the overall experience.

We spent five days and four nights in Uluru, and it was an incredible experience. The larger tour had up to 50 people, which could be quite chaotic. However, we enjoyed a magical sunset tour with bubbles then onto a BBQ, and we even got to see the Milky Way!

Highly recommend a dinner in the outback to see the Milky Way!

Highly recommended It was a great experience! The walk is easy and around half-way there is the option to go back on the bus and continue the tour by bus. During most of the walk it is not possible to take pictures as it is sacred land, but the guide explained this very well and let us know where it was possible to take pictures. There is a short breakfast included with some biscuits and tea.

Sunrise The Field of Light display was cool to see but a little underwhelming. The sunrise was beautiful though, and the view was spectacular.

It was a wonderful experience. I travelled with a friend and my two young children and we all had a wonderful time.The guides were really great, very knowledgeable, polite and happy to help. The tour was on time both departing and returning. The sunset view of Uluru was breathtaking, and the nibbles and drink made it even more enjoyable. I would recommend this tour 100%.

We booked the Day Red Centre Highlights (U4LS) tour which included accommodations and I really must commend AAT Kings for the wonderful service and arrangements. Everything was planned and organised beautifully from the moment we landed until we returned to Ayers Rock Airport. Of the many tours that we were a part of (which were all wonderful), Jessica was our tour leader for two and she was fabulous. Witty commentary, knowledgable about the area and attentive to our needs. She single handedly managed a big group that hiked Kings Canyon and was very patient throughout. Thumbs up AAT Kings and the team you have at Yulara. We will be back.

Did the Kakadu day tour. It's an early start but there's a pitstop for breakfast. First stop for rock art, then a buffet lunch. Then the Yellow River cruise which was amazing. The highlight was choosing the scenic flight. So totally worth it as you can see soo much from the air, our Driver and Guide Mel was wonderful as was Prem who did the return trip home. I think guided day trips like these are much better than hiring a car and driving. You learn soo much from the commentaries.

Uluru sunrise and Kata Tjuta half day tour - with great guides. The tour was great and worked very well to see Uluru and Kata Tjuta in a half day and experience the two brilliant places. Good sunrise position and a wondrous, absorbing gorge walk.
Specifically the two tour guides Glen and driver Michael were superb. Interesting, funny, knowledgeable, inclusive and good company. They provided a poignant and fascinating commentary to the tour.
