As an Australian, all my life I have wanted to see Uluṟu 🇦🇺😍
I was so appreciative from the support of Rachael when I phoned and booked in and her fantastic knowledge of the tours I needed to do, to encompass and appreciate everything that Uluṟu has to offer, so that I didn’t miss anything - there was no way that I could have organised the 6 different tours I did, without her guidance.
It was a dream come true 😍🇦🇺🤩
Every guided tour I did, was done professionally and perfectly - I couldn’t have asked for more! 😍
One of the very special moments was the drone display over Uluṟu, with a class of young indigenous children included as well - they were just beautiful, interacted with other children there and behaved perfectly 😍
It made the night even more special 🥰

This company are a class act. In total, we had 4 tours / transfers with them from Alic Springs and Uluru and it all worked like clockwork.

The West Macdonnell tour from Alice Sorings with Pierre was superb! His knowledge and humour really made the tour!

The transfer from AS to Yulara was long but excellent. Regular stops made it easy and the remote service area with emus were amusing!

And then Uluru. More amazing than we expected with fantastic commentary from Ned on the sunrise tour. Again, many stops and very well managed.

Then the sunset tour and BBQ. Absolutely lovely, guided by the incredibly knowledgeable Celia. Just brilliant. And the BBQ in the middle of nowhere after dark - just amazing. What a lovely experience. We didn’t get to see the stars or Milky Way because of cloud but it was still amazing.

And Rachel’s final fun fact on the coach on the way back - I won’t spoil it but very good!

Finally - AATKing’s coaches feel a bit higher quality than others we’ve experienced. Aircon that work, good knee room and much quieter engines. This makes a difference when you’re on a coach for 12 out of 36 hours.

We’re not massive fans of coach tours but these guys are excellent.

Magical experience A special experience to see Bruce Munro's amazing Field of Lights. As the lights dim on the installation, and the stars fade, the sun rises providing incredible views of Uluru and also Kata Tjuta from a special platform. Tea and coffee and biscuits are provided and welcome compensation for the 4.45am start! Guides are very knowledgeable and provide clear instructions. Delivered back to the hotel in time for breakfast!

Beautiful vista Beautiful sunset. Great wine and nibbles. It’s a very populated area so manage your expectations but everyone is enjoying the shared moment. Due to the number of people our guide didn’t check on those needing to return back to the resort. This left a confusing situation of trying to board a remaining bus. All resolved but a tad disappointing.

What a FANTASTIC day! It was a long, but fantastic day!

I did the canyon wall walk and my wife did the valley walk. We both enjoyed our walks. Being 66, the first part of the canyon wall walk was a bit challenging (starting the first climb of 500 steps), but after that, the walk was very doable. Both walks had great views. The guides were knowledgeable and interesting. They were very aware of their surroundings and conscious of safety. The breakfast was good and filling and was included with the trip. Lunch had a good selection and was also good which you buy.

I would highly recommend this trip. You see and experience the outback. It is an amazing long day!

Dinner Under the Stars Wonderful experience having a dinner under the stars. We started off with canopies and drinks as we enjoyed the sunset over Uluru. We were than escorted to our dining area where we enjoyed a 3 course meal. It was a buffet meal with plenty of options. You can be guaranteed that you don’t leave hungry or thirsty!

Absolutely loved this experience. Everyone was so friendly. Amazing to see the night sky by Uluru. Great food too. Fantastic experience and well organised trip. Friendly guides. Amazing food. Great to see the night sky by Uluru with an explanation of the constellations.

Lovely experience under the stars. Uluru is am incredible sight at sunset. Drinks were great. Nice nibbles though wouldnt call them canapes. Barbecue was good. Variety of meats, steak, chicken, kangaroo. though our steaks were s bit chewy. Sides of both veg and salads great. Dessert very nice. Drinks readily available. Star talk was intetesting. Would have liked more of this. Guides very friendly, helpful and informative.

Perfection. Can’t recommend enough. My wife and I stayed for 4 nights in September 2025 (without our kids) for our anniversary, and I can not fault this resort in any way.
Our stay and experience here was amazing, and I can’t recommend it enough to anyone considering or on the fence.
Our room was perfect with a view of Uluru from our balcony, a welcome anniversary cheese and fruit platter waiting for us, the food for dinner at the Pool Bar was exceptional and the staff were polite, friendly and professional. What more could you want?

We had the best time on this tour Uluru sunrise and Kata Tjuta. Our tour guide Marc was entertaining and hilarious. Took the time to explain everything and elevated our experience.

AAT Kings Kings Canyon tour Amazing tour. Alex is an incredible tourguide. I didn't choose to do the rim walk, but his stories during the were incredible.
Brad is an amazing chauffeur but also as a guide an the creek walk. Breakfast was delicious. A long day but worth it. And as an extra we saw Mt Conner (from a distance) but it was a nice addition.

General recommendation AAT Kings I traveled with AAT Kings a lot during my stay at Ayers Rock Resort. From the airport transfers to Field of Light etc. Kind and friendly drivers but it's also a nice touch both guide and driver are outside at the bus to welcome you are say goodbye. I was really impressed by that. So thank you AAT Kings!

Must do in Uluru Really great experience Great staff, humorous driver and guide. And, nothing bad to say about the evening BBQ diner. Great job ATTKING

Unforgettable Field of Light Experience We recently did the Uluṟu Field of Light tour. We chose the tour only, and it was amazing—definitely something you must do when visiting Uluṟu. The tour bus picks you up from your hotel or campground and drops you back afterwards, with everything included in the ticket price.

Great experience! The tour was a great experience. Everything went as expected including the itinerary. The guide provided us with the perfect amount of information.
The snacks could be improved with a bit more cultural variety

Alex and Steph were absolutely fantastic tour guides for the sacred Uluru sunset experience. Their sense of humour and approachable nature made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. They were always smiling, and their knowledge of the area was impressive, answering every question with ease.

They went above and beyond to ensure our safety and kept everything running smoothly. Their promptness in getting us back to the buses was much appreciated.

We were extremely happy with Alex and Steph and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an unforgettable Uluru sunset experience!

The scenery and overall trip were absolutely stunning, and I greatly enjoyed the rim walk itself and the accessibility provided. The driver was also kind and professional.

Unfortunately, the experience with our guide left much to be desired. While I appreciate an emphasis on safety, the risks of the rim walk were overstated repeatedly to the point of scaring a number of people in the group, which felt unnecessary. During the trek, the guide required everyone to stay behind her and would raise her voice at anyone who didn’t, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. There were also a few remarks made that came across as inappropriate and unprofessional.

For the cost of this tour, I had expected to feel supported and encouraged, not treated like a school child. While the views were breathtaking, the lack of patience and professionalism from the guide significantly impacted the overall experience.

We spent five days and four nights in Uluru, and it was an incredible experience. The larger tour had up to 50 people, which could be quite chaotic. However, we enjoyed a magical sunset tour with bubbles then onto a BBQ, and we even got to see the Milky Way!

Highly recommend a dinner in the outback to see the Milky Way!

Highly recommended It was a great experience! The walk is easy and around half-way there is the option to go back on the bus and continue the tour by bus. During most of the walk it is not possible to take pictures as it is sacred land, but the guide explained this very well and let us know where it was possible to take pictures. There is a short breakfast included with some biscuits and tea.

Sunrise The Field of Light display was cool to see but a little underwhelming. The sunrise was beautiful though, and the view was spectacular.

It was a wonderful experience. I travelled with a friend and my two young children and we all had a wonderful time.The guides were really great, very knowledgeable, polite and happy to help. The tour was on time both departing and returning. The sunset view of Uluru was breathtaking, and the nibbles and drink made it even more enjoyable. I would recommend this tour 100%.

We booked the Day Red Centre Highlights (U4LS) tour which included accommodations and I really must commend AAT Kings for the wonderful service and arrangements. Everything was planned and organised beautifully from the moment we landed until we returned to Ayers Rock Airport. Of the many tours that we were a part of (which were all wonderful), Jessica was our tour leader for two and she was fabulous. Witty commentary, knowledgable about the area and attentive to our needs. She single handedly managed a big group that hiked Kings Canyon and was very patient throughout. Thumbs up AAT Kings and the team you have at Yulara. We will be back.

Did the Kakadu day tour. It's an early start but there's a pitstop for breakfast. First stop for rock art, then a buffet lunch. Then the Yellow River cruise which was amazing. The highlight was choosing the scenic flight. So totally worth it as you can see soo much from the air, our Driver and Guide Mel was wonderful as was Prem who did the return trip home. I think guided day trips like these are much better than hiring a car and driving. You learn soo much from the commentaries.

Uluru sunrise and Kata Tjuta half day tour - with great guides. The tour was great and worked very well to see Uluru and Kata Tjuta in a half day and experience the two brilliant places. Good sunrise position and a wondrous, absorbing gorge walk.
Specifically the two tour guides Glen and driver Michael were superb. Interesting, funny, knowledgeable, inclusive and good company. They provided a poignant and fascinating commentary to the tour.

A magical tour with the field of lights and sunrise over Uluru. This tour was great. Our guide Catherine and driver Alan took us to the field of lights and allowed us to wander around at our Leisure before we had a morning cuppa while watching Uluru being light up by the morning sunrise. It was spectacular. Catherine had an abundance of knowledge and always answered our questions. The field of lights are magical

Uluru Sunset Tour Very basic experience, the Bus just drop off at Uluru, some biscuits and Cheese and waiting for the Sunset. Anyone could get a hop in hop off bus to get there. Too expensive for 99 AUD per person + 38AUD for the park fee.

Awesome activity! Wonderful experience! Ayers Rock area is a must see. The area is so full of beauty and culture. Our tour with Nick was educational and spectacular from start to finish! We did the bbq option as well, and the meal was a great experience, out in the shadow of the rock. The night sky, with the stargazing, was a treat. Would definitely visit again!

Much less than the resort tours! A large bus picked us up at the resort. Write drove around Uluru and were given commentary on the sacred sites we passed. It was very hot, so I was happy to be in an air conditioned bus for the ride around the rock. We stopped at the cultural center. There was interesting history written within wall art , many photos, and a short movie about the local peoples. There was a gift shop and clean toilets. There was a short walk to a watering hole containing native artwork. Our guide Mitch did a great job telling us about the area and keeping people organized and together. We were taken to a viewing area for the sunset. There was plenty of champagne and light snacks to enjoy while we waited for the sunset. On our visit, there was a huge cloud obstructing the sun, so we didn’t get the colors we were expecting. We did get some amazing lightning in the opposite direction. You can never predict nature! It was great that Mitch kept reminding everyone to keep drinking their water. There was plenty of cold water on the bus and we were able to refill our water bottles at each stop. We were offered folding stools to sit on while waiting for the sunset, but they were too low for this senior citizen. We walked over to an area with benches and picnic tables instead. I could see where this area could get very crowded, but on our night we were okay, and there wasn’t a great view anyway.

Awesome experience.
AATKings provided a fabulous guide Michelle and driver Andrew. Comfortable 3-4 hour trip to Kings Canyon, with informative commentary, mostly on the way back.
Make sure to take 3 litres of water, not allowed to do the 3-4 hour trek without it. And get the national Park pass $10 prior, we got ours when we booked tour.
The start of the trek is the hardest, starts with 500 stairs going straight up. Rest stops along the way, pace yourself.
Beautiful views, some water holes (swimming not permitted / sacred sites) clear signed tracks.
Highly recommend but be fit to do so.

I booked the Uluru morning base walk tour months in advance online. AAT King staff provided clear instructions via email regarding where to meet on the morning of the departure, and our coach arrived promptly as described. My wife and I actually went on the tour yesterday and it was awesome! We had an unusually small group of only 10 people, so everyone was able to ask questions and actively participate. Our tour guide Glen and driver Col were absolute superstars! Glen was extraordinarily kind and engaging. His masterful stories really made our experience memorable. Col is a skilled coach driver as well as a wonderful photographer. Tour also included a late morning breakfast with coffee/tea, biscuits, fruit and cereal. Glen also offered us apples and other foods prior to starting the long walk, which was much appreciated. Kudos to both of these gentlemen for a job well done!

Pickup was prompt, the staff are amazing- like it was their first day on the job with everyone. And not hurrying you to get on the bus.
My partner proposed to me in the middle of the tour and the staff were just as excited and took photos for us💍
I can’t wait for our next holiday and will be checking that I can do it with AATKings.

We spent a couple of days visiting the Uluru-Kata Tjuta national park, and took three tours with AAT Kings: the Uluru sunrise/Kata Tjuta tour, the Uluru sacred sites/sunset/BBQ dinner tour, and the Field of Light sunrise tour. All of them were exceptional - well organised, well executed, well catered - and the tour guides were superb. They shared interesting information, and were thoughtful and attentive to all guests and their needs. We were lucky to be looked after by many members of the AAT Kings team, but special thanks go to Hayley, Lucy, Rob and Colin for looking after us so well.

I went on two trips with AAT Kings whilst staying in Uluru and honestly I could not recommend them enough. Everything is extremely well organised but the most impressive was the acknowledge the guides have of the area. They were clearly passionate about what they do and it just made the whole trip even more interesting. The Kings Canyon day trip and rim walk was outstanding and probably the unexpected highlight of my trip, despite the 4am start! It’s an absolute must do in my opinion. If you’re fit definitely do the rim walk. The first 10 minutes was the hardest but then you just enjoy the day! It was outstanding and our guide John was fantastic and clearly loves what he does.
The sunset trip to Kata Tjuṯa was also an unexpected surprise. You think this trip is all about Uluru (which is amazing of course) but this was fabulous and the colours are incredible. We had a guide who was relatively new (Renee) but again she was full of knowledge and very passionate about what she does. This has made me definitely look at AAT Kings for my next adventure which will hopefully be The Kimberley’s. A huge 10/10 from me. Thank you to everyone who made this trip so special.

Agreat day out. The 4am start is a small sacrifice for such a memorable day.Even the 3 hour bus trip to Kings Canyon was interesting, we saw camels, brumbies, and cattle, including a large bull crossing the road right in front of the bus! The buffet breakfast was excellent. Kings Canyon was spectacular! Well worth seeing.

A faultless effort by both of them, they were calm, polite, friendly, funny at times, always engaging . They were interesting to listen to, telling stories about the history of the area, the landscape, its people, the plants and animals that live and lived there, their knowledge of the area would have made David Attenbrough proud. Outstanding! Well done Jacob and Glen, a fantastic day out.

Logistics not optimal Staff was great, food was good, star gazing was a little lacking because the moon was out (not the fault of the staff, just the timing, and the talk was fine). It wasn’t quite what we expected, though, in terms of logistics we were dropped off in a parking lot near Ayer’s Rock to watch the sunset and were offered some wine, beer and cheese. After about 1-1/2 hrs, we reboarded the bus and were taken to a different parking area where they had tables set up for the dinner. So our only complaint was having to get on and off the bus at two locations for appetizers and dinner.

Wonderful Wonderful informative tour, we spent the day with our tour guide Andrea. Just so knowledgeable. Would highly recommend

Enjoying Ayers Rock sunset. Very well organized. The snacks while watching the sun go down was a bonus. I enjoyed the many color changes of Ayers Rock as the sun set. Great time.

Book for the convenience Pickup, sunset viewing, drinks and bbq dinner all get arranged. Nothing special. Nice social on the dinner table. Interesting star talk of southern hemisphere sky.

Wonderful tour! The tour was wonderful! Jakob and Hayley were so incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. This tour really highlighted the rich history of Uluru and its cultural significance. We especially loved hearing the stories of the different sides of the rocks as we hiked and drove around the site. It was quite hot but the team made sure we stayed hydrated and in the shade as much as possible. The sunset was absolutely stunning and for only spending the day in Uluru we left with such an appreciation for this beautiful place! Thank you! Our tour was technically the sacred sites one booked through the resort but didn’t see it listed.

Great Sunrise tour. Great way to see an amazing sunrise. Our Ambassador Nerida was great and gave us some amazing insites. Highly recommended.

The drivers are great and the buses are very comfortable and well presented.

AAT Kings also run the shuttle bus around the resort which is also run very professionally and the bus is also comfortable and clean.

Fantastic even with rains and wind It was rainy morning but the tour went on. By the time we were finishing hot coffee, rain got lighter and sky started to clear up!! We had a rare view of waterfalls in Uluru!! Our tour guides (sorry forgot their names) were wonderful. At the end of the tour sky got clear and the scenary was gorgeous! Highly recommend this!! (December 10, 2023)

Amazing experience and Glen is fantastic WE did the Kings Canyon & Outback Panoramas (Return Ayers Rock) (Y19) tour with AAT which included a decent breakfast (included) , rim walk of the Kings Canyon and then a relaxed lunch (at own expense) and return transfer to Ayers rock resort.
WE loved every moment of the Tour. A Big shout out to our guide - Glen who was friendly, knowledgeable and had an amazing sense of humour. His amazing commentary and anecdotes greatly enhanced the experience. The Driver Frank was also amazing and he also acted as our guide for the creek walk (for people who did not want the complete rim walk- which is around 8 kms and has 500 steps) . A full day tour but was very nice.

Uluṟu at sunrise a perfect start to your day The red centre experience would be incomplete without visiting and walking around the iconic Uluṟu. You can ride and run the 12.5km trail surrounding this sacred site independently, however walking with a guide who is pointing out and discussing the significance and story telling of some of the rock formations enlightens you and enhances your experience significantly. Otherwise you really would not understand or appreciate what you were looking at. It would just be red rock. Cultural respect means photographing the interesting rock face is prohibited but you walk away with a true sense of why Uluṟu is considered the heart of Australia. It is a pity the tours are significantly expensive, making it beyond the financial reach of many families. We felt very fortunate to be able to enjoy this experience. You walk the 12.5 km briskly with opportunity to stop for a few minutes to take it all in. My husband is a fit 80 year old and managed the pace set by the guide. If you have an ailment you would find it difficult. The breakfast was ample and nourishing.

Worthwhile overview of Uluru Good overview of the Anangu culture and Uluru. Our two guides were knowledgeable and entertaining. The snacks and drinks at sunset were very nice. Overall, a very good tour.

Storm in the desert Apparently, we were really lucky to be there in the rain as it so rarely happens !

So we got up at 4am to a fabulous light show - lightning. Drove to the viewing spot to enjoy a nice hot cup of coffee only to find that the tables had blown away in the storm taking our coffee with them.

We managed to stay on the bus to avoid getting drenched - there was nothing to see anyway as the storm clouds were obscuring the sun.

Then onto the next stop where we did manage a walk in the rain to look ot the gorge.

On a serious note - if the weather is unkind, there is NOTHING to do in the resort.

Sunset tour This was an easy way to go and see the sunset Kata Tjuṯa with no worries about anything once the bus picks you up.

The viewing area is a little further away than expected but it was still beautiful and we were the only bus load of people at the viewing area making it easy to get your own spot.
The staff were great and very informative.

Best AAT Tour in Uluru! We did 4 Viator tours in Uluru and this was our favourite.

The day was long but the bus was very comfortable driven by Colin who was friendly and cheerful. Our tour director John was a crack up and very knowledgable. He was considerate to everyone and made our day very enjoyable. There was a surprisingly good hot breakfast included once we were almost there and then the hike (Rim walk) was the absolute highlight. It was challenging at the beginning but anyone with general fitness could easily do it. Rarely have I been on a hike where the scenery is breathtaking the entire way.

Tip: Make sure you bring 3 Litres of water because the rangers do spot checks and won't allow you to do the walk if you don't. We only had 1.5 litres each and it cost us $6 for 1.5litre bottle at the servo so make sure you visit IGA where it costs you $2.30 beforehand!

Live in the moment! This was a tour worth doing and the early start really makes a difference because you finish just before the day gets extremely hot. Our tour guide Glen was an absolute legend. Funny, friendly and knowledgable, he really made this good tour, great. Jessie was at the back with the stragglers (us) but made our time equally enjoyable with his knowledge and hospitality.

Glen's mantra was to live in the moment and the most memorable part of the trip was when we sat down in the valley facing these amazing rock formations and he simply told us to keep silent for 10 minutes. This really captured the tranquility of the environment when you could hear the sounds of the wildlife and outback. Would highly recommend!

Lifetime experience! Uluru and Katajuta are magnificent ancient natural formations that I suggest everyone should try and see in person once their lifetime!
But felt the tour was overpriced.
The staff were wonderful though.

Uluru ok We booked this tour in Uluru. I more prefer smaller groups This was a tour in a big bus. Just ok for me. See Uluru and around.

A fantastic half day at Uluru and Katatjuta! We traveled with EMU run tours and the guide was Yad..
The guide made us all to know each other. He explained much of facts related bough related to Katatjuta and Uluru. Also the Aboriginurs stories and related evidences was told and shown in an excilent way. The day was ended with a barbecue in the sunset with a view of Uluru. A fantastic day!!!

Going to Kings Canyon with AAT Kings was wonderful experience and definitely worth the money!! Oir guide Michelle told us a lot of interesting background stories along the bus drive but also knew when to let us sleep. She is very enthusiastic and does a really great job!! The breakfast was huge and there are options for everyone, meat lovers and vegans! The walk itself is very beautiful. We were lucky with the weather so it wasn't actually very strenuous at all (only 32°C) but thats probably a lot harder in summer.

Kata Tjuṯa - the lesser known AMAZING rock formation Fabulous tour starting at 5pm for a 40 min coach out to the national park and viewing area for this amazing rock formation. Nibbles and drinks at sunset as we watched the rocks turns red. Shout out to our wonderful guide who told us all about the Ananu people, their culture and traditions. Wonderful!
