Lovely Chance to sample Alkoomi Franklin River wine wines Stopped at Albany tasting room a short walkthe Museum of the Great Southern. Gina led us through tastings with recommendations. Enjoyed crisp reislings, delicious Chardonnay and Shiraz. 2 tastes free. Other flights priced according to expense of wines. Great opportunity to taste some very impressive wines.

Lovely person (daughter of owners) who served us a little way back. There were quite a few wines there we warmed too. Had the 2017 Victrix Chardonnay last night which was such a delicious and delightful wine, we look forward to visiting you again.

My partner and I stayed at Alkoomi Chalets for 3 nights in August.
we had a wonderful relaxing stay. The chalet (red roof one) was homely and had amazing views of the vineyards and the sheep in the paddock. Part of The vineyard behind the chalets is open for you to walk through, a wonderful idea and we will definitely come back to see the vines with leaves and grapes on them and walk through them again!
It was very clean and all the mod cons were there. On one of the days we went to the winery and had their complete taste experience sitting by their open fire. It was wonderful. 8 wines to taste with a lovely plate of dukkah, bread, alkoomi olive oil, cheese and quince jam.
The winery is a short drive to Frankland River, it has a coffee shop, a wonderful country one stop store, and even though we didn’t go, the local country club opens to visitors for meals Wednesday to Sunday.
I recommend this relaxing break to anyone,

They have 4 categories of wines to choose from premium to everyday drinking wine. Bought 3 bottles but definitely worth buying more.

Great wine tasting We did the comprehensive wine tasting with tasting board. The wine we tasted was excellent and Kitty was very informative about the wines and the history of the property which we appreciated. We stayed the night in the red chalet which was clean and comfortable with amazing birds around the property and an easy walk 800m to winery

We were greeted by two extremely friendly ladies on our arrival, and we hadn’t even reserved an appointment!

The Cellar door is always inviting with beautiful art to admire and purchase around the seating area. Our recent visit was enjoyed by the warm fire enjoying our favourites and just taking in the peace and loveliness Alkoomi delivers.
This wasn’t our first visit and most certainly won’t be our last. Until then, thank you Alkoomi ..your wine is delicious.

I and my friend had a really really good experience at Alkoomi Wines. There were no customers in the cellar when we got there on a Monday afternoon and we were greeted by a very nice lady who was actually from their finance department (I forgot her name sorry!) but she was just as knowledgeable and gave us a really fantastic wine tasting experience. Contrary to some of the previous reviews, we really had a great time. I must also say that the cellar is very beautifully decorated which was made even more special by the lit fireplace upon our arrival. I definitely would recommend this place if you are around the area. We availed the $15pp wine tasting deal which allowed us to taste up to 6 wines but since there was no other customers except us, she added a couple more wines to taste. We enjoyed the experience a lot and the wines were good too and needless to say, we took home more than couple of bottles each on the way out.

Beautiful winery and wines. Cellar door is impressive with wood and polished concrete. Many options for the tasting menus at good prices.

Only dissapointment was tasting price was not taken off the price of the 8 wines we purchased (as is generally the done thing when tasting wines).

I always call into Alkoomi to stock up on my favourite wine while visiting Frankland River Retreat just 10 mins from Alkoomi

Lovely selection of wines We called in here yesterday when driving through this area. Beautiful view across the rolling hills. Lovely hospitality and nice wines to sample all well priced. Well worth a visit.

Awesome wines great service Had a great afternoon tasting at Alkoomi (Frankland river - not Albany), knowledgably staff, great wines - interesting back vintages on offer at affordable prices looking forward to tasting the wines when they arrive.

Great wines and beautiful views. Great wines and beautiful views of rolling hills. A fantastic way to spend a day if you happen to be up that way.
