Our Australia Zoo-Glass House Mountains Tour Private Combo is an amazing opportunity to experience two of Sunshine Coast’s must see destinations in the one trip.

We start this combo in the Glass House Mountains Tour, where you will be in awe as we wind our way through this magnificent and unique landscape. You will have the best of both worlds with our experienced local guide taking you to the best viewing locations of the Glass House Mountains from near and afar, including a small nature walk into the Glass House Mountains National Park to get a closer view at the biggest and tallest peak. A delicious dine-in lunch and drink at a lookout cafe in the Glass House Mountains is also included on this tour.

You will then be dropped at Australia Zoo in time to see the famous Wildlife Warriors show that includes many Australian animals and the crocodile feeding. Your entry ticket  to Australia Zoo is included and you will have 3.5 hours to explore this wonderful zoo. 

To further compliment this tour, we provide you with an experienced local guide and door to door pick-ups in a luxury vehicle with reclining seats and a USB port for each seat to charge your phones and cameras along the way.

ITINERARY

• Our day begins with a nice country drive. The start of this tour may be shared with guests going to Australia Zoo, where we will drop them off on the way. So you will get to see what Australia Zoo look like on the outside.
• We then make our way to the biggest of the Glass House Mountains, Mt Beerwah, where we will wind our way on the bus through various other Glass House Mountains to get there with amazing views.
• You will be guided on a short walk into the Glass House Mountains National Park to a striking viewing area of Mt Beerwah, the biggest of all the Glass House Mountains.
• Next you’ll see the many faces of Mt Coonowrin as you see it from different angles, with a stop at the best viewing location.
• Another scenic drive through forest and farms will land us at a lookout with a historic fire tower and views of all 14 peaks of the Glass House Mountains and beyond. 
• A delicious lunch with a drink is included on this tour at a wonderful lookout cafe with a beautiful landscape view. Here you also have an opportunity to buy a souvenir if you wish.
• After lunch we head back into the Glass House Mountains National Park to the best viewing location of Mt Tibrogargan and another little mountain we’ll keep as a surprise.
• Just as you thought you had see it all, we will go on yet another scenic drive between more of the Glass House Mountains towards the town called Glass House Mountains for one last stop.
• We will then make our way to Australia Zoo and have you there in time for the Wildlife Warriors show and 4 hours to explore the zoo. Your entry ticket is included in this tour.
• You will be picked up at 4:30pm and return you to your accommodation no later than approximately 5:30pm.

NOOSA & SUNSHINE COAST Pick-ups and Drop-offs
Joel’s Journeys will pick-up and drop-off customers at their home or accommodation in the Noosa and Sunshine Coast regions, including the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Please ensure you provide your pick-up address when you make the booking. Pick ups outside of the above locations may incur a surcharge.

BRISBANE Pick-ups and Drop-offs
Joel’s Journeys will pick-up and drop-off customers at their home or accommodation in the Brisbane CBD or anywhere between the Brisbane CBD and Sunshine Coast for an additional $175 each way per booking. Please ensure you select the ‘BRISBANE PICK-UP’ and/or BRISBANE DROP-OFF’ option and provide your pick-up/drop-off address when you make the booking. Brisbane Airport pick-up/drop-offs are also an option for guests. Pick ups in Brisbane outside of the above locations may incur an additional surcharge.

Sunshine Coast Airport Drop-off Available
Make the most of your departure day and be dropped-off at the Sunshine Coast Airport after your private tour for no extra cost. We have plenty of luggage room on the bus to stow your bags for the duration of the tour or transfer. Ensure you select the appropriate airport transfer checkbox option when you make your tour or transfer booking.

Luxury Vehicle for Passenger Loads of 11 or Less
Groups of 11 or less will be chauffeured around in comfort in our luxury 12-seater vehicle. Our bus is equipped with reclining seats and a USB port for each seat to recharge your phones and cameras throughout a day. The vehicle has a fridge running throughout the day to keep cool any cold produce you purchase.

Passenger Loads of 12 or More
Passenger loads of 12 or more guests are subject to the availability of a larger bus, which will be different to the 12-seater bus described above. Please provide us with as much notice as possible for group bookings of 12 or more guests.
