Horrible. Can’t say anything better than that!
First! The jetty to get in the boat your feet sink into the water 10-30cms cause it’s collapsed, second the boat DISGUSTING not cleaned. Bbq was filled with shit like it’s been used 30 times and not cleaned.
The motor! Wouldn’t start, got stuck and no one came out when we called them.
We had to pull start and we had 5 kids on board
Disgusting boat. Disgusting bbq. Disgusting jetty for getting on and they throw on a single rod holder in the middle of the boat under the shelter. All in all ! Would never book there again. It’s absolutely disgusting and scary to be in the water with a boat in that state.

No issues with customer service, the owner was extremely pleasant and accommodating as were the young boys helping run the business!
The boat was great, everything worked well and was looked after!

For a nice day out with family fishing, jumping off for a swim, listening to music and having a drink or...a few it was well worth it!

We book the BBq boat for the entire day, we enjoyed ourselves but could of been a lot better. The engine was very troublesome, it would not stay in neutral, always turned itself off, and then would not restart for about half hour. The most disappointing issue however, was you were stuck on boat for the day, there was no ladder to climb back on and extremely difficult to climb back in. I would not mind the issue with the engine if you could at least go for a swim while you are waiting, the boat also needs a lot of TLC.

We had a blast fishing ang hqving BBQ. My son caught his 1st fish and is now hooked. Good service and very understanding staffs. Highly recommended

Was closed when we were there for the weekend. The back looks quite rundown. But very interesting walk along the boardwalk.

We have hired the boat from here before and service gets worse each time.
Last time the boat ran out power steering fluid and we had to be rescued. This time i was spoken down to and yelled at over the phone by the owner.
I’m still in shock that a business owner would think screaming “shut up” on a call will ever be appropriate.
Always want to support small local businesses but will never go here again.

Been around for years. But first hire experience when I returned to area.
Old motor powered and steered boats, with very reasonable prices.
Great way to explore the Brisbane Water.
If you want to go as Far North as Tascot, allow a four hire hire.
I did three and only got to Woy Woy channel area.
Very friendly and helpful staff.

Lazy sailing. A very pleasant time being able to get up close to other moored boats (luxurious) and seeing the coast housing. Waterways not to busy and others courteous and friendly. Great being in charge and taking time to enjoy scenery., will get a BBQ boat next time as it looked lots of fun. People stopped on sandbar to enjoy lunch and swim.

Great day on the BBQ boat. Staff were very helpful and polite.
But the bbq boat could be updated a little bit.

We raised safety concerns of the fleet with the owner as we had two incidents in the space of 4 hours of Anderson boats colliding with us on kayaks and in a row boat with 2 small children on board. Disappointedly the owner Rob only repeatedly swore at us when we respectfully raised alarm with him that there were unsafe skippers hiring his boats.
I would expect a duty of care for a business operating hire boats on a busy waterway. Shocking way to dealing with locals

Called and booked months in advance to make sure we got the BBQ boat. The day before I called to confirm and they had double booked the boat and given it to someone else. Pretty disappointing.

Great dog friendly boating experience!

Turned up at 7.55 They didn't open the shutters till 8.15. Didn't get out on the water till 8.30.

Bloke turned up red eyed. Gave us the wrong boat. Boats also hadn't been fueled or cleaned.

Great location, good prices, ok boats, just a bit of a shambles on the organization front.

Apparently the jetty was broken we had to get on boat via the water. Being in our 60s and carrying a bit of weight, we were concerned about getting on the boat, a young man got some steps and held them in place while we got on, with a smile and when we got back, he again assisted us. A very pleasant day all round

Good boats , had fun but ran out of fuel , they had to come out and give us more fuel. I think the fuel should be filled full before each hire goes out. Prompt service of dropping fuel off. Thanks guys ????

Wonderful way to explore the Brisbane Water area We took a half-cabin boat out for a few hours on a beautiful morning. The boats are pretty reasonably priced and handled pretty well. They are basic but comfy enough for a few hours. They only have a small outboard so you can’t get into too much trouble. The staff were really helpful and even successfully talked me through an issue via the phone when I seem to have flooded the motor on the other side of the bay. We were able to cover a fair bot of water in the hours we had the boat and even found time to moor up at the Hardy’s Bay jetty to grab a takeaway coffee.

Great value boat hire - highly recommend. The boat we hired was the timber 18ft half cabin which had a 10 HP outboard. Plenty of space (licensed for 10 persons) and very stable. Got along at 10kph.
The Brisbane Waters is an interesting area to explore in a boat.

Great day out What a lovely day out we had! The guy is a ledgend, very good pricing for the boats, hired fishing rods and bait too, had a map of good fishing spots to go aswell!

what a way to spend a morning First of all a big thankyou to Rob who made our fishing trip into Brisbane Waters one we will not forget for a very long time .His knowledge and friendly personality really put my non boating partner at ease.We took out a bar b q boat and my partner even felt confident enough to have a little drive which she really enjoyed ,because Rob explained everything clearly and concisely .Many thanks again

These guys are great. Have used them twice to hire the barbecue boat and both times have been great. The also offer bait, drinks and fishing rods hire. The area is very scenic and has many fishing spots. The first time we went we caught many snappers however this time today we only caught and released a stingray. Highly recommended

Friendly boat hire We chartered an 18ft called Grace. It was a lovely boat with an outboard. Rob the owner was so friendly and gave us some great tips for places to visit and fish. Best way to spend time on the briny and so so reasonably priced it was cheaper than our breakfast for two!

Reasonably priced I highly recommend this place. You can hire rods, buy bait and snacks as well. There’s usually plenty of parking. You can also go for a picnic, and they’ve got BBQ boats, too (I always hire a half cabin so we can fish, have a picnic and get some shade). For about $60 all up, four people can spend an hour on the water in a boat with a small cabin, with bait and a couple of rods included. It gets cheaper for more hours if you feel like being out longer.

Booking was easy, boat was good, easy to use. However It wasn't ready when we got there so had to wait, then we ran out of fuel. Running out of fuel wasn't the bad thing the that annoyed me was it took them nearly an hour to answer the phone for us to tell them we ran out, then another 40min or so to get out to us while stranded in a small cove. Lucky there was oars on board cause the fuel ran out in the middle of the bay.
They were apologetic about the fuel though.

The cheapest way to enjoy a day out on the water (in a boat) within 2 hours of Sydney. I have used their boats many times and the service is always great although I would recommend getting the BBQ boat if you are spending all day on the water. The water around the boatshed has amazing fishing for the avid angler and the sheltered nature of the harbour means that water conditions are seldom rough.
