Beautiful Bowen Tour – Nature, Nibbles & Coastal Views

Join Airlie Adventure Tours for an unforgettable day on the Beautiful Bowen Tour — an eco-certified journey through one of the Whitsundays’ best-kept secrets. Recognised by Ecotourism Australia, this tour is the perfect blend of natural beauty, relaxed vibes, and award-winning local flavours.

Explore the Natural Wonders of Bowen

Your day begins with a scenic drive from Airlie Beach to the laid-back coastal town of Bowen. First stop: the iconic Big Mango, where a quick photo is practically mandatory. Then it’s time to hit the coast, starting with the stunning Horseshoe Bay, famous for its granite boulders, clear turquoise waters, and peaceful shoreline.

Wander along the beach, take a dip, or simply soak up the serenity — this is tropical North Queensland at its most beautiful. We’ll also visit some of Bowen’s most breathtaking lookouts, where sweeping views of the Coral Sea and surrounding islands provide the perfect photo ops and a deeper appreciation of the region’s rich maritime history.

Australia’s Best Fish & Chips (Seriously)

When hunger strikes, we head to the Birds Fish Bar, recently crowned QLD’s Best Fish and Chip Shop 2025! You’ll purchase your own lunch here, choosing from a mouth-watering selection of seafood — fresh from the local trawlers. Think crispy fish, juicy prawns, golden chips, and an ice-cold drink, enjoyed right by the water.

Stunning views at Flagstaff Hill

To cap off the day, we make our way to the stunning Flagstaff Hill Lookout. Take in the panoramic views with a chilled glass of Yellowglen (two, to be exact!) and a grazing platter of cheese and crackers, all included in the tour. It’s the ultimate way to wind down — sipping bubbles while gazing out over the Whitsundays, soaking in the coastal charm one last time.
