Get up close and personal with our famous Clydesdales of the Victor Harbor Tramway!
Embark on an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience with the renowned Clydesdales of the Victor Harbor Horse Tram. Explore the rich history of the tram, witness the intricate process of harnessing and saddling a Clydesdale, observe their training in the scenic yard, and meet our cherished Clydesdales. Additionally, enjoy a visit to the new stables nestled in a picturesque bush setting. Complimentary coffee and morning/afternoon tea will also be provided.
Please ensure you bring appropriate clothing dependent on weather conditions, as part of the experience is outside. Please wear fully enclosed shoes at all times, and ensure you bring hat/sunscreen/sunglasses and if it’s cold bring a coat!
If we need to cancel due to extreme weather you will be contacted and offered a rescheduled time.
Duration of experience bookings are approximately 1 hour – 1.5 hours
* Please note this Behind the Scene Experience is held at the Stables where the Clydesdale horses live which is a short drive from where they work pulling the tram across the causeway from Victor Harbor to Granite Island.
Remember to bring appropriate clothing dependent on weather conditions, as part of the experience is outside – fully enclosed shoes at all times, and ensure you bring hat/sunscreen/sunglasses and if it’s cold bring a coat!
