Great Day out What a great day. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Very informative and interactive even with just the lowest cost entry. The reptile show, feeding the baby Crocs, the reptile house, seeing the cage of death, we loved it all. Very much recommend.

Crocosaurus Cove Darwin If you want an exciting day out in Darwin definitely visit Crocosaurus Cove and book the VIP tour. It is well worth it. You get to feed a crocodiles and hold baby crocodiles and reptiles. You might also get to watch the Cage of Death and see Whip Rays and fish feeding. You also get to take home photos of your crocodile feeding. A great day out.

Had a ball We did the croc experience. It was fantastic and well organised. The reptile exhibit was also great. All wildlife seemed well fed and in great shape.

Within Chomping Distance!! Outstanding attraction, the staff on the Cage of Death were excellent, knowledgable and caring. The experience of being so close and viewing a 5 metre Crocodile was breath taking. Memories were created which will live on in our minds and photos.

A friendly welcome. Everything explained to you about the premises and day feeding etc.
One needs to download the map of the place as no longer give out paper copies.
The reptile enclosure, walkthrough was very well spaced with heaps of information on each exhibition.
The highlight was seeing the staff feed the crocodiles. We even had the chance to feed baby crocodiles which was amazing.

Croc Cage The croc cage was well worth the money. The different POV you get from inside the crocs mouth and underneath their body is incredible. Very professional and enjoyable.

Crocodile experience Loved this experience being so close to a crocodile felt sereal. Like looking into the eyes of a dinosaur. Had a great time and even more special was doing it with my daughter.

Junior Rangers - Jan 25 School Holidays A great program for the kids over the school holidays. This is the second time we’ve done it and the boys love being Junior Rangers!

We had an awesome day at the Cove! The Cage of Death experience was awesome as were the shows, crocodile, fish and turtle feeding and the hatchling "fishing" experience is not to be missed! All the staff were lovely and extremely knowledgeable.

Great experience Booked the cage of death and was amazing. Make sure to speak to the photographer beforehand to get some tips before going in the cage to get the most out of your photo opportunity. Made it in time for a croc feed show as well

We did the VIP tour at Crocosaurus Cove today and I highly recommend it.
Located in the middle of Darwin, they offer the chance to get up close and personal with salt water crocs, snakes, lizards and more.
The crocs are huge and our guide Tahli was fantastic, she was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer any and all questions.
Unfortunately, the cage of death was booked out so we missed out on that but it did look fun.

Happy not to be food! We had a great time sitting in the water with Leo the Croc. Staff were very informative, letting us know how much the croc would like to eat us.

Worth it for the swim with the crocodiles. Went mainly to swim with the crocs, did not disappoint. The displays were good, but the whole site needs a few dollars spent on it.

Great day out for family/couples/solos Had a lovely morning at Crocosaurus, husband did the swim with the crocodile. He loved every minute. Lots to see, staff were very informative. Kids would love it too.

Lots of fun Fantastic experience overall. Did the VIP tour, the Cage of Death and the Whipray feed. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The enclosures and the animals were incredibly. Got there at 9.00 and didn’t leave until closing time.

A great place to get up close and personal with NT wildlife. Reptile exhibits interesting but loved seeing all the growth stages of crocs from egg to fully grown adult. Watched some intrepid swimmers immersed in tubes right next to a hungry adult croc being fed

The guides and staff members are really friendly, overall we had a good experience in this park. You could swim with crocks and pet baby crocks.

This place would a be a nice addition in your Darwin trip, if you still have enough time after exploring the natural beauty NT has to offer.

Exceeded what I thought I was going too Our experience at the Cove was very good and definitely a worthwhile attraction to visit for all ages. I enjoyed the tour and some of the facts about these incredible animals are remarkable.

I would have loved to hear more about the conservation efforts the organisation is undertaking, there was a noticeable absence of this material.

It was a good experience, however it felt a little disjointed and found myself looking for things to do between shows. I enjoyed the reptile enclosure, some awesome specimens. It was great to see these big salties up close. Check out the website and plan your visit around the shows. Being in the middle of the city you need to consider parking as many spots close by don't cater to long parking or fill up fast. However its proximity can allow for taking advantage of the ability to leave and return.

In the heart of Darwin City this place is a must visit! I still cannot believe that there are so many huge crocodiles in the city centre.. blew my mind!
We got to hold a baby crocodile, a snake, and a blue tongue. There were people swimming with the crocodile in the “Cage of Death”, there are turtles, fish, whiprays, so many reptiles, frogs and not to mention probably hundreds of crocodiles! There is even a swimming pool and a ‘fishing’ platform where you can feed the small crocodiles.
All the staff were super friendly and so knowledgeable. The place is really educational, from all the signage to the presentations and it is well worth the money.
We spent a few hours in here but could easily have spent longer!
Would recommend 100% and hope to visit again one day!

Cage of death - inches from a massive croc! Great croc park in the middle of town. We did the "cage of death" experience. Was expensive, and I was a bit dubious, but WOW! What an experience. You will never get this close to a large saltwater croc. We met Leo, a 5 metre monster, and he put on quite a show! Would recommend as a once in a lifetime experience.

Great way to see Salties up close. These animals are huge. Also a large reptile house, fish and turtle exhibits.

For an additional fee you can go into the croc tank.

Good option for a few hours in Darwin.

Excellent Experience I had a wonderful time at Crocosuarus Cove. The tour guide, Dani was amazing and very knowledgeable. I would recommend everyone who is visiting Darwin to experience Crocosuarus Cove.

Friendly staff, not too expensive and a good variety of animals to see if you love reptiles. Easy to spend 2 hours there. Would recommend checking out the website before you visit for presentation times so you don't miss out on seeing what you want. Went on a Friday, had purchased tickets online that morning but when we arrived there was zero queue, could have just bought tickets on arrival.

Interesting, but only worth about an hour of time on your own. You need to time your visit to the shows that are taking place, especially the croc show at 11:30a and 2:30p. There were some customers here since 3 pm, so we were able to attend events that occur every 30 minutes, such as a private aquarium. All the staff were kind and friendly. It was truly amazing!

I liked this place better than expected. We were originally going to give it a miss as there were a few exhibits not open. However we were at a loose end in Darwin on a Sunday. We got discounted tickets online through qantas, so it was under $100 for a family of four. It was good that you get a wristband and can go in and out as often as you like.

We particularly loved the reptile exhibit, and the meet the reptile show.

Junior Reptile Rangers Program The program is wonderful! My children loved it and haven’t stopped talking about the things they learnt, saw and experienced. We will be visiting the Cove and all the animals again very soon.

Good place to visit in Darwin Great place but not sure about the money value but it is a good place to visit when in Darwin. My gif those crocs are big and you would not want to meet one in there real habitat .

great outing was a fantastic day out, the kids loved being able to experience the reptile encounters and photos with the baby croc. the cage of death was a great experience for my partner and teenage daughter.

Crocs, pic's & grub This is definitely an enjoyable place to go with kids, or as kid-less adults.

It has big, old croc's, whose stories are much enlivened if you do one of the many, regular, short guided tours. (Make sure to ask about the croc couple, Will & Kate.) There’s also a snake & lizard exhibition that’s well worth doing – and it’s air-conditioned :-) Also a giant fish tank with lots of interesting critters swimming around each other.

Want to hold a small croc? No problem, go to the photography area on the 1st floor in the Reptile House. (Incidentally, that photographer is fun to watch as he deals with the shy & the scared, people trying to clown around, people he effortlessly teaches to do interesting poses for the photo’s, & all while the croc’s are trying to wiggle while being held. Despite everything going on, he produces absolutely terrific pic’s that are amazing & memorable. Top points for photographic competence & for dealing super nicely with people.)

There are un-air-conditioned food options in-house on the first floor, & outside on the ground floor, but there’s an air-conditioned pub opposite with kids’ food & there are other air-conditioned food places very close by that are cooler, so attracted us.

A great collection of reptiles and crocodiles and good displays throughout the facility is a great way to experience these animals first hand with the ability to nurse a baby croc. If in Darwin, I highly recommend

Go for it - great experience My daughter and I did the cage of death today. I was not keen but my daughter wanted me to do it with her. Was a great experience that I thoroughly enjoyed. Dont be put off if you think its expensive. You will not get the oppotunity to do this elsewhere so go for it. The memory will be worth it.
The staff will make you feel very comfortable and I felt completely safe.

Cage of Death Definitely worth it, it was such a fun experience and so different from anything else! You get 5-10 minutes to observe the crocs from underwater, and then the cage is raised so you can watch them hunt from out of the water. Seeing the crocs close up was so cool - highly recommend!

Cage of death Had a fantastic day at croc cove . Went I tank with Leo and he was massive. Everyone was so helpful and everything was explained properly. Also had photos with small croc really good fun .. got photo and memory stick package and got 3 photos on the day .Well worth the money . Had food aswell very nice . Watched croc been fed . Eye opening My highlight was holding little Fluffy and having my photo taken.
Also the young lady that walked us around was very friendly and knowledgeable

Great experience This is one experience that you should try whilst visiting Darwin, it was sensational , they are just an amazing creature to see up close and personal.

A terrific experience which didn't disappoint Went with 3 little kids under 10, fantastic experience. Staff were very informative and interesting, keen to chat with kids. Had photos taken holding a small crocodile, bought the digital and 3 photos in a package and worth every cent. The photos were professional quality and a great momento. The smile on the kids faces say it all. Not only held a crocodile but also a snake and lizard. Wonderful. The souvineer shop there was full of everything Darwin. Great.

what an experience The park itself is fantastic with lots to see but it was the cage of death experience that really cemented it for me. The staff were well trained and made me feel safe and i was able to enjoy my time centimeters away from a 5-meter crocodile. Thank you to all involved i would do this again in a heart beat.

If you want to get up close and personal with a croc, this is the place to go but you must book. Recommend the morning, as I did arvo, and they were less hungry and less active.
The other attractions are worth 1hr before or after.

Excellent experience in the Cage of Death really interesting to get so close n personal without being eaten by a 5.5m saltwater crocodile called Wendell. These crocodiles were problems in the wild and rather than be euthanised they are rescued and kept in captivity. No they can’t live together these big males as crocodile are cannibals! Highly recommend the experience and the VIP tour where you get to hold Fluffy and feed Burt who has one eye is a bit slow but was once a star in various things such as Crocodile Dundee. Loved filming others in the 3 inch Perspex tube which is entered into from above and on a crane gantry which moves along and lowers you down to their chosen crocodile. They always attempt to ensure they respond. You get 15 minutes down with their chosen crocodile. It’s not scary or dare line pumping it’s fascinating to see how they function beneath the waterline. Age from 16 to ? As you have to be able to climb a few steps down a ladder and up again. They do not completely submerge you so you can sit in bottom and drop down with goggles on. Give it it try if your in Darwin it was the highlight of my trip!
