Blues on the Grass brings pop funk band Zenith Pop Funk to the Picnic Grounds for an afternoon of sunshine, good company, and boutique Hunter Valley wine. Grab a glass of Bluegrass Shiraz or a crisp Saddler’s Chardonnay from the bar, settle into the grass, and let the music do the rest.

What to Expect

Live music from Zenith Pop Funk kicks off the long weekend with energy and groove. The bar is pouring Saddler’s Creek wines by the glass and bottle, plus local craft beer and non-alcoholic drinks for the designated drivers and little ones.

Pre-order an antipasto platter from Mangia @ Saddler’s to share – cured meats, cheese, pickles, and all the good things (serves 2-4, $110). Or grab something fresh from Chef Chiero’s Airstream kitchen on the day.

This is a family friendly event. Bring the kids, bring the grandparents, bring the crew. Kids under 18 are free.

What to Bring

Limited picnic bench seating is available on a first-come basis. We recommend bringing your own picnic rugs or low chairs to secure your spot on the lawn.
