We had the absolute best sunset cruise on the last nite of our holiday to the Sunshine Coast . A complimentary drink on arrival , a delicious chacuterie box and a gorgeous young lady keeping us entertained with her fantastic skills on an acoustic guitar with the voice of an Angel, such a perfect nite to cruise the canals of Mooloolaba. Thanks to the brilliant team at Saltwater Eco Tours for a very memorable experience

I spent an amazing couple of hours on a Bushtucker cruise on board the timber sailing ketch Spray of the Coral Coast. We cruised on the canals around Mooloolaba hearing about Indigenous cultural stories from owner Simon Thornalley. We ate delicious bushtucker treats prepared by Skye and heard about how ingredients were foraged by Simon and local businesses. Such a relaxing time. Thanks Jenna, Simon and Skye.

The bushtucker cruise was the highlight of our weekend getaway last weekend. It was relaxing and informative and the canapes were yummy. Definitely the best birthday present I have given my husband. After the cruise, I bought a jar of delicious roasted macadamia butter (pictured) from the Saltwater Eco Tours shop. Do yourself a favour and try it.

An absolutely incredible evening on the Bushtucker Cruise with Saltwater Eco Tours. Treated to delicious cocktails and canapes by the lovely team on board. Simon the skipper was incredibly knowledgeable about the boat, the area and how the native ingredients used were foraged and prepared for us. He even played the didgeridoo on board, which was such a special experience. *Special mention to the Native Chilli Margaritas which we will be dreaming about for the rest of our lives!!!! Would 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Sunshine Coast!!!! We can't wait to visit again.

We were booked for the Friday sunset music tour however due to strong winds/storms we were rescheduled for the Sunday bush tucker cruise. The cruise itself was nice, staff super friendly and welcoming, the cocktails were amazing, but the food, OMG, the food was incredible. The food along was worth the price, 5 or 6 courses of incredible tapas type meals made up of a huge variety of native ingredients. This isn't some token effort at bush tucker, this is bush tucker fine dining.

The history of the boat, the beautiful polished timbers, adventures it had in it's day, the indigenous use of foods, stories and landmarks of the Mooloolaba River including both under and above the water, icons such as the Osprey's nest and sea slug colony was all fascinating to our group. There was also plenty of quiet time to just chill out and meet other guests and have a chat.
Definitely can't go wrong choosing this company, any of their tours are worth every cent.

This entire experience was absolutely breathtaking. The staff were all so friendly & hospitable. The captain opened the tour with a wonderful brief about the history of the boat that was really interesting. The boat has a magical feel of its own & you can feel the attention to detail that has gone into the tour. My partner & I enjoyed the bush tucker cruise - every dish served was mouth watering delicious! I highly recommend booking Saltwater Eco Tours on the Sunshine Coast & can't wait to go again!

Best of all was the food! It was incredible. The chef made superb canapes which were presented at regular intervals throughout the cruise. We loved all the indigenous flavours.
Towards the end of the cruise we had some digeridoo and drum music to finish off an amazing time. We highly recommend the Bushtucker Cruise to anyone coming to the Sunshine Coast or staying in Mooloolaba.

I highly recommend Salt Water Eco Tours and the live music too was fabulous. So much so that we are now following this new artist on socials. (Pat Tierney) We were spoilt with a complimentary drink on arrival and were also given a really neat grazing box too to nibble on and enjoy the sunset. Will certainly be back in the near future for another cruise for sure. Thanks again Liz and Basil Jones

Saltwater Eco Tours was sensational, not only were we cruising on a heritage vessel but it's own and run by a group of indigenous youngsters who take pride in their work and Australian culture.
We had an amazing time, drinks flowed endlessly, the ambience was relaxing with a talented musician entertaining us. Definitely recommend it taking a cruise.

I booked on with Saltwater Ecotours for the sunset sail with live music and had a fantastic experience. From the second you walk onboard you are greeted with a complementary drink and get to feast your eyes on the beauty of this classic sailboat. As the tour started Simon, the captain, gave an insightful history of the vessel and acknowledgement of the land we ventured on. The music was lovely, food was tasty, sights were gorgeous, and overall it was a perfect way to spend a Friday night! Also-checkout the Ecotours shop in the wharf after for the local ingredients used in the drinks and stunning art pieces by First Nations artists. I'm keen to checkout their other tours as well!

Exquisite, from the moment you are welcomed on board till when you are brought back to earth by the soulful didgeridoo playing upon returning. The history of the Saltwater people is thoughtfully presented throughout their tour, and the delicious bush tucker infused cuisine excites your tastebuds along with their reative cocktail creations. I've been on many boat tours but this by far is one of the better ones. Thank you for your hospitality.

The live music was fabulous as were the drinks served in good time and the snack box was fresh and delicious . A must do for any tourist coming to Mooloolaba.
