We were picked up on time and Pete was very knowledgeable about the wineries and the Bush Tucker we had for lunch. We meet some amazing people from all over the world. Unique and beautiful Margaret River experience The bushtucker canoe tour was a unique, informative and exciting experience for us in our Margaret river holiday. The online booking was easy to do, clear comms about the starting point , and what to bring for the tour. The tour guide Emma was very helpful and got us into our canoes after an initial briefing. All four of us could stay together in one canoe. Emma provided us wonderful insights into the natural flora and fauna and history of the region during the tour. We stopped for a picnic lunch which included many options for vegetarians like us and they were mostly made with indigenous ingredients. The flavours were exotic unique and tasty offering us a different culinary experience. The canoe ride back in slightly windy conditions was challenging but just to the level required to make it interesting! Highly recommend this tour if you’re in the region.

Unique lunch experience and a great tour! Thanks to Peter and Maureen for a fantastic tour. Hotel pickup and drop-off were included and we had a great day full of wineries, a distillery, brewery and chocolate factory. Amazing tour for the price and lunch was a highlight!

Bushtucker Winery and Brewery Tour - Margaret River. Great Tour. Full day tour, which we booked at the visitor centre in Margaret River. We were picked up at 10.15 from our accommodation, and got back about 17.00. Ten people in a mini-bus.
We visited Woody Nook, Knotting Hill, and Bettenay's wineries, The Grove Distillery, a chocolatier, and a brewery. Our guide was Adam, who was very informative, and gave us a great lunch.
We bought a case of wine that kept us going for a few days !
All good - would recommend.

We had a wonderful day with Bushtucker River & Wine Tours. Visited great spots and sampled some really nice wine, beer & liquers. Lunch was a tasty treat, something different. Our driver Rhys, was very knowledgeable and a very helpful guide.

Great experience Wow this owner went absolutely over the top to help us get a great experience. Our cruise ship moved in our time to leave the same day. The owner picked us up personally and drove us back to the ship in time to catch our last tener back to the ship.

During travel we were told the story of Busselton. Her knowledge was over the top amazing.

Once we were with the tour it continued to be just outstanding fun and history sharing.

Don’t use anyone else in our opinion but this company. We will return to Busselton to see the caves with this tour company

My family did the bushtucker canoe tour and all I can say is what an amazing tour. We had Em as our guide and she had a beautiful and calm disposition, her ability to provide information was so well delivered. The canoe experience through the river allowed us to enjoy and learn so much. The lunch certainly was a highlight, what a unique and wonderful way to put Aussie bushtucker on display and for us to experience. Not only did it taste wonderful it was presented just beautifully with everything well thought out. Thank you to the team for putting on such a great experience. We would highly recommend it to everyone we know.

The bushtucker canoe & lunch tour was a big highlight of our trip down south. A group of 9 (4 adults & 5 kids ranging from ages 6-14). Spread out over two canoes, it was physical but worth the effort. The scenery was spectacular, the knowledge of the guides was vast and the bush tucker lunch was delicious and well thought out. Plenty of food for all and it was great to try native Australian delicacies. A must do trip and I would highly recommend!

Very easy to book, good communication from the organisers and they picked us up and dropped us off at our rental property, which saved us having to get to a pick up point. The tour was great - we were drinking by 11am! The tour guide, Peter, was hospitable and very knowledgeable. We had a great bunch of people on the tour as well. The lunch was tasty and it was a good learning experience about wine. It was really interesting to see wineries, breweries and distilleries as part of the tour and ending up in a chocolate factory, rounded off the day nicely! Thanks to everyone involved. James

Excellent your, great guide and delicious bush Tucker lunch This tour was awesome. Very informative. Marty our guide was so knowledgeable and we not only enjoyed the beautiful Margaret River at paddling pace we learnt plenty about the local area. The bush Tucker lunch was a lovely addition to the tour. Went with friends with their two girls (9 and 12) and we all enjoyed it greatly.

Must do tour! Amazing day out, great value for money. The lunch was delicious and gives you a real experience of native wild foods. 100% would recommend. Our tour guide Marty was very knowledgeable and funny. All in all a great day!

Great wine tasting experience in Margaret River We had a great wine experience in Margaret River, the wineries were well chosen, the tasting was exceptional and we loved the bush tucker lunch. Marty went above and beyond to make our day perfect. Keep up the amazing work guys!

We enjoyed the canoe and bushtucker experience with our two kids. This tour was AMAZING! Such a great way to explore this magical river and region, learning a lot of local knowledge and story telling, finishing with a delicious picnic feast. The most fun way to explore / learn / laugh about all things local to the region - love the ‘natural / native’ touch ! Bloody ripper day out! A must if you’re heading to Margs! My mate and I came down and we had booked the Bushtucker tour. Our tour guide was Marty and he was a ripper bloke! His local knowledge of the region along with his cracker stories and humour made the day one of the most memorable ones I’ve had in Margs.

The entire booking process was simple and I was kept in the loop re: pickup, timing etc for the whole time.

The food was great, as a bushtucker enthusiast, I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I love doing tours wherever I go but these guys know how to put a great, professional show on.

Cant recommend enough!

We had a great day in the canoes, hard yakka to keep it in a straight line 😄. Marty our guide was very informative. The bush tucker picnic was an experience, many of the bush fruits we’d never tried. Definitely recommend this tour as a different way to experience Margaret river 👍

A good day out in Margaret River Marty was a great tour guide. Good sense of humour and excellent knowledge. Bush food lunch well explained by Marty, and amazingly tasty. Enjoyed the vineyards and tastings. Could have left the chocolate shop visit out - no tastings, just a retail shop. Last brewery stop could have been longer as there were some great beers. A good day out.

Friendly tour guide, rushed day Tour guide was lovely and very friendly. The bush tucker lunch was definitely an amazing experience and absolutely enjoyed it.

Apart from that we felt like the day was rushed a bit and some places we wasted time waiting around while others were too rushed.

The first place we went to for tastings was the best and if the other places would have been the same then this would probably be a 4-5 star review. The first place the lady explained to us about the wine, how to properly taste wine and the difference. In each tasting she gave us about 3 mouth fulls of wine which is a good serving for a tasting.

Day was off to a good start. Then it went downhill. The other places we went to were rushed. Felt like they were trying to quickly finish the wine tasting to get onto the next one. We were lucky to get 1 mouthful per tasting and the people didn’t explain very well and were not very friendly. I reckon out of the whole day which was 6-7 hours long I would have had a total of 3 glasses of wine, not even enough to put me over the driving limit. I got home a drove to dinner.

One place after our tasting we waited there for 40 minutes before going to our next place which forced everyone to need to buy something to eat and drink otherwise we would just be sitting there doing nothing for 40 minutes.

The most disappointing part was that there was not cheese factory. That’s the main reason I booked this one over some others. I found out afterwards that the cheese factory is temporarily closed. They should not be advertising this in their ad if we are not stopping by the cheese factory.

Overall, the tour guide was really good but would not recommend this specific one to friends.

I strongly recommend this canoe tour. It’s fun, exciting, a lovely afternoon adventure. We had an amazing friendly tour guide named Jasper. I admire the passion he has for people. He made the whole tour fun. He is very knowledgeable of the history of Margaret River which he carefully explains throughout the tour. We also had a picnic where we got to try various native and exotic food. Jasper explained each of the dishes well. We had a friendly canoe race on the way back. Great tour and food. The tour along the River was great. A few mishaps prior, but the team were great at rectifying. Greg the tour guide was very knowledgeable of the history of Margaret river both in Australian and Aboriginal. In addition, to the native flower and fauna. It is a very pleasant and enjoyable activity to do. The delectable food provided was amazing, offering local bushtucker food. It is a sacred river to the aboriginals. Didn't see others tourist or locals swimming in this river. Through this tour you get the chance to swim in a magical river, as a one off time. I would highly recommend this activity, especially if it is your first time in Margs.

Amazing tour in a beautiful region - and great value! Overall an amazing day! From the quick email confirmation for my dietary and disability requirements, to the SMS confirmation of pick-up time the day before, and the pick-up from my accommodation in Busselton, it was a brilliant day.

I was solo, but there were 12 others on the tour. Steve the tour guide was friendly and informative, and very approachable throughout the day. The lunch spread he put out was excellent, with a wide range of native ingredients, all labelled and context given as needed. Vegetarian was well catered for, as was the range of meats.

Visited three wineries, two of which were great. The other (Knotting Hill) seemed annoyed that I was on the tour alone, preferring the people in pairs, and definitely focused on only making sales.

Cape Naturaliste wines and Woody Nook wines were both lovely, great surrounds and staff. Grove distilling, Cheeky Monkey brewery and Margaret River chocolates were all excellent too.

The only downside was that the bus we were on was pretty old and noisy and sounded on the verge of breakdown at times! That said, I felt completely safe and was delivered back to my accommodation on time.

Cannot recommend this tour company enough - I got to see the region, taste lots (and lots!) of different drinks, learn a lot about the history and landscape, eat some amazing native ingredients, and best of all, not risk driving myself.

Best tour in Margaret River with a knowledgable guide! I went on two winery tours while I was in Margaret River and this one was by far the best! I admit, I was a little hesitant because of the name of the tour but it turned out,it was a tour with people that were interested in getting to know the wine, not just in getting drunk. Our guide Greg was so knowledgeable, warm friendly and totally accommodating to each individual guest. He provided fascinating stories about the region and the history. The lunch was also very interesting. It included indigenous foods and the stories behind them. Pick-up and delivery was right on time and it seemed that this company had a good relationship with all the wineries we visited.

This is the 2nd time I’ve gone with the Bushtucker Tour & once again they’ve delivered! We all had such a fun day! From door to door pickup & drop-offs to & from our accommodations made it so convenient. From a variety of wineries, to a visit to a distillery, a brewery & chocolate factory with a beautiful Bushtucker style buffet lunch, it was a great value for money. Our guide John was very knowledgeable & friendly & we felt well looked after. We all had an amazing experience & can’t wait to go again! Highly recommend!!! ????????

A great day out canoeing on Margaret River, Helen was our guide for the day who is a font of knowledge on the local flora & fauna , the history of the first nation & the Settlers from Great Britain. The scenery, spectacular & serene . The bush tucker lunch was a tasty & varied/unusual spread ,very satisfying. Being able to swim in the heatwave conditions at the moment was lovely.
Highly recommend this trip for a great day out.

What an enjoyable day on the actual river! We all loved the canoeing and Marty was great! He was so patient with my three kids (ages 6, 8 and 9) who were non stop asking him questions! I especially loved the picnic which included indigenous fruits, nuts, cheeses, and exotic Australian meats!

Did a Margaret River tour with my partner whilst we were down there a few days.
Our guide Marty was very knowledgeable about the area and had a great sense of humour. Paddle was easy, very accessible for any age or group. Beautiful scenery on the river.
Highlight for us was the incredible lunch spread provided, primarily of local native foods. Marty, being a chef, provided a great insight into the foods we were eating, and their use by First Nations people. I would recommend the tour for the food alone!
The native tomato bread that we had was world class. Well be sure to do another tour with the company next time we're down.

Awesome day on the river with Carter! We did this tour today and couldnt have been happier with it. A group of two adults and 4 kids aged 10 and 13, it was the perfect tour for us. The canoeing, the incredible historical info, the bushtucker lunch, the swimming off the rocks - all of it was fantastic! Carter was a fun, friendly and knowledgeable tour guide with a great manner and made us all feel really comfortable and inspired. We all loved the experience.

I have done many wine tours including in Margaret River but this one was the best!
From beginning to end everything was great and the tour guide did an amazing job!
The Bush tucker style lunch was a highlight esp for international travellers. The great day out even lead into the night with a few of us hitting Rios for karaoke.

Incredible tour! Well and truly worth it! This was such an incredible experience. Our tour guide was incredible and very knowledgeable. Worth every cent, I highly recommend. I felt comfortable on the tour being that it was my first time on a canoe. Our tour guide Marty was hilarious and shared his knowledge about bushtucker. He has a genuine passion for it and for travelling and it shines through. The food was incredible with some options for those who are less inclined to try the emu, kangaroo and crocodile. But it was well and truly worth it, we would definitely do it again! Our group got along well and there was a good vibe the entire time with lots of laughs!

Amazing Tour!! We booked this tour for our family (including grandparents and teens). We started canoeing up the river, stopping off to learn local history. Lunch was an amazing selection of bushtucker delights, with some safer options too. Helen was a passionate and energetic tour guide. A great day out for all the family.

From the moment we booked, to the time we said farewell, we received excellent service. The Bushtucker River Tour was a gift from our daughter and to make it a family affair the rest of the family booked in too. We were not disappointed. Laughs begun right at the beginning. Instructions were clear and simple, and there was nothing we could have wished for. Fabulous river tour, great stories of the area, lots of short stops grouping together, followed by an incredible bushtucker lunch fully explained. Our tour guide Peter was fantastic, he went out of his way so the kids were kept busy whilst we enjoyed the wine tasting, Really enjoyed visiting some new wineries that I hadn’t heard of before, fantastic value for money. We had a fantastic experience with Bush Tucker tours. We did the tour with our 2 young boys aged 5 and 6. I was worried it would be too long for them but they absolutely loved it and told all their friends in school about it. The food was fabulous and plentiful. We had the best day. The best fun wine tour we have ever been on. Can’t recommend enough. What an absolute fabulous day from start to finish. As we got on the bus, everyone is introduced to each other, so we all start talking straight away. It made for a very fun and relaxed day, making new friends along the way . The vineyards were outstanding and we have never tasted so many wines in one day.
The lunch so different and so good to be able to taste these unusual products . Absolutely delicious.
This tour was recommended to us and we will be passing the recommendation on.

HIghly recommended tour We had a lovely day which was booked with friends visiting from the UK. Our friend was celebrating a special birthday and he was presented with a bottle of wine to celebrate. We were returning clients and also received bottle of wine. These were much appreciated and a nice touch.
We visited several wineries as well as the chocolate factory and a brewery. Our guide was Greg he was very accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. Greg served lunch at one of the locations and explained what each dish was, this was a great opportunity for our guests to try local dishes. The day wasn't rushed at all we had sufficient time at each stop and Greg went out of his way to drive us to see kangaroos at the end of the tour. Greg is a great ambassador for Bushtuckers. No doubt we will be returning, hopefully with more visitors.

Gem of Margaret River It was fun, friendly but informative. Lovely active morning. We loved the food and the wine which was gifted to us at the end. Will be back .

We did the Bushtucker canoe trip last week with our two kids (6&9) and quite honestly this tour was the highlight of our holiday. Paddling in the canoes was so much fun for us all, our host was so knowledgeable about the river, the land, and told us so many stories in such a captivating way. The lunch was incredible, we loved tasting so many new local foods including emu, crocodile and kangaroo!

A wonderfully different wine tour experience This was a very different wine tour and was very enjoyable. We did the usual wineries and chocolate store, but the wine tasting was of wines and liqueurs and very personally done. Lunch was bushtucker meats, condiments, fruits and berries, and very tasty. Would highly recommend this tour.

Amazing experience!! Had a wonderful day on Margaret River. Our guide Jason was knowledgeable about wildlife, native stories and history. Funny guy also. Definitely worth it!!

Nice but very rushed! Very nice tour with an excellent guide. The downside is that we are very rushed from one place to another. The tour guide was rushing us to be on the bus. I actually had to chug my beer at the brewery to get on the bus. I think they should take one stop out of the tour to give us time to enjoy each place we visit.
