First time skydiving, absolutely loved it, it's a must do at least once in your life, just the pure adrenaline. Youssef Lindsay was my instructor for the jump, very calm, and very professional. Thanks again cairns skydiving, I will be back for another jump.

Best feeling ever! I’ve just had my first skydiving experience! We had a bit of delay due to weather and visibility wasn’t best but the whole experience was absolutely priceless! I’ve been going in tandem with instructor, Dylan. I felt safe and at ease with him at every moment. He’s been great, relaxed and just very supportive! Thank you, Dylan, for introducing me to skydiving!

Amazing experience!!! They picked me up and dropped me off and offered a good service, also over the phone when I initially called them. I dived with Eunsung…he’s the best!!! Very knowledgeable, precise and fun. Also a great camera man and social media friendly :))
The only “bad” thing I’d like to point out is the photo/video service: you get a link (that expires after a few days and you need to pay extra in case you want to reactive it, and it’s already quite pricey) but the link doesn’t work on phones so you need a computer. As a backpacker (and this activity is done by a lot of backpackers) it’s not a very convenient process as we don’t really carry laptops with us and they don’t offer a plan B (like Dropbox etc).
All the rest was great, super fun experience and would recommend this company!!!

I did my A-License course with these guys and everything was perfect. All the staff members are incredibly friendly, highly experienced and always there to help with any questions you might have. I saw tandem clients coming in every day and all left extremely happy with an experience that I'm sure most will never forget. It's also reassuring to know how serious this company takes safety procedures. Can highly recommend 1300Skydive to anyone looking for a tandem skydive or learning to do it by yourself!

First the good: Mark and Brandt were professional, personable, and friendly. On the plane ride they made the two of us feel comfortable and their technical skills were top notch. The skydive of course was amazing and the landing was unbelievably soft and well done. The not-so-good: when we arrived as self-drivers, no one greeted us. We had to wander around the property to find someone to check in with. As it was a surprise for my friend, she hadn't signed the form prior, and was having email trouble. She asked if she was able to sign a paper copy and she was told no. Then we sat waiting, sweating, with no one telling us what to do next, (although one guy was helpful in pointing out the toilets), where to go, when our flight was going to happen, or anything to calm our nerves. When I asked what we were supposed to do, the woman behind the desk said that we might want to wait in the air conditioned prep "green" room where everyone else was gathered. After we jumped, we wandered back into the green room with again, no one there to direct us, tell us about the "certificate" we were going to get, offer us water, nothing. My friend and I looked at each other and said "I guess we go now" and left. While the instructors and jump were fantastic, the customer service was dismal. I work in tourism and c'mon guys I know you can do better.

Absolutely one of the most amazing experiences a human can have! felt safe and excited every step of the way. All staff were just as pumped as I was which made the experience even more exciting. Dopamine levels are still through the roof hours after the jump.. can’t wait to get back up there again! Do yourselves a favour and make this company your go too for your next adrenaline hit. ????

Was the best experience for my first time sky diving. I had Greg (Kiwi) and he couldn’t have made it any more enjoyable, was definitely my highlight of my trip up to cairns. Will 100% be back!!

Very poor experience, paid to land on the beach but got informed there by instructor that that wasn’t happening! Then they only informed me there that there was an extra 25 dollars for your ‘weight category’ pre skydive along with an extra 30 dollars for some other make up reason! Was told I couldn’t bring my GoPro as they would record it for me, then they ‘lost’ the footage - so no footage of the skydive now whatsoever! It took me 6 days of trying to contact customer service to get an answer! Got refunded the price of the recording the skydive but got scammed a load of money to do it and have nothing to show for it! Would strongly recommend avoid dealing with this company

On our holiday we had Tom and Dylan from SkyDive Cairns today and they were incredible. We enjoyed every minute and glad we could tick of one of our activities on our life bucket list we these fabulous men. Thank you very much guys!!!

Had a bloody ripper time! The staff were incredibly friendly, super informative and took safety very seriously. They make sure all the instructions are clear and you understand everything you need for a successful jump.

The plane ride up was absolutely stunning with views of the reef and rainforest. Our instructor was like a guide pointing out all sorts of landmarks and interesting facts.

The jump went smoothly and so did the landing. Yes we had to wait for other people to do their jumps as well but they had plenty of things to do around there.

It was an absolute delight to share such an experience with this company and I very much look forward to doing it again in the future!

My wife and I, plus our 15 year old son and 12 year old daughter visited these guys while holidaying in Cairns. Actually we did the whole tourist circuit of activities in Cairns, and we all agree that this is the BEST!! We found the whole team to be friendly and enthusiastic, from Eddie who picked us up in the bus to our instructors (we had Rauno and Tatsuya - thanks guys????). After years of skydiving and thousands of jumps, they still seemed genuinely happy to be sharing their sport with newbies. This is the most exhilarating thing you can do, and is surprisingly not that scary (okay maybe that bit when you are swinging your feet outside the door of the AC might be a little..). It was one activity that was absolutely worth the money we payed to do it. We loved it so much we wanted to go straight back up and do it again, and were given a fantastic price to do just that ???? Do it, you won't regret it! On another note, we were saddened to see how these kinds of businesses were struggling while we were in Cairns, many places closed down or struggling to keep the doors open and people employed.... Holiday in Australia and support Australian businesses like this - who are desperately trying to hold on!

Bloody AMAZING. Thanks guys so much for a wicked day out. My partner and I went skydiving at 14,000ft. And myself I had (kiwi) who I did my tandem skydive with. Cannot rate these guys high enough, they made the experience worth the value for money. We got picked up from where we were staying, and dropped off. The customer service was great, and they really took care of us whilst we were there. I felt so safe, and Kiwi was super professional. Would definitely come back and skydive again here. Thanks guys. Amazing! We loved it.

Tandem Skydive...Just do it :) This was one for my Wife, a bucket list item that she was desperate to tick off and tick it off she has.

A brilliant experience with some great staff that really know their stuff, some great pics and video to show as well makes it a complete half day outing. Ben was the wife's tandem and he was just great. I served as the spectator and ground camera on this one and was kept fully informed on what was happening above.

Its a personalised service from another small business trying to keep afloat and its worth every cent so get behind them and have a go, you will not regret it at all.

My wife's grin said it all .strongly recommended for all.

Best Birthday Present Ever! Huge thank you to the folks at Tandem Cairns for making my 21st Birthday awesome! I’d booked this as a present for myself and was flying solo for the day so I was relying on the team there to make it memorable and they definitely delivered. Everyone I interacted with was professional and accomodating, from check in to the jump itself. As someone who works in tourism I know that continuing to operate during COVID times is a huge challenge but the guys at Tandem cairns didn’t show it. They made sure to keep the exciting energy all while handling social distancing regulations and organising the jumps. I want to say a special thank you to Kiwi for filming me during my jump! If anyone’s tossing up if they should pay the extra dollars for the outside cameraman I think the pictures speak for themselves, definitely do it!! Money can be saved again but memories are priceless and having the photos and videos is awesome, not just for sharing on social media but also to look back on yourself. An absolutely massive thanks to my instructor Ben as well. He was super understanding when I was worried about getting motion sick on the glide down (I have vertigo) and made sure I felt comfortable and safe throughout the whole experience. He talked me through everything we were doing from boarding the plane until we touched the ground again and that was really helpful for me. I’d definitely recommend this to any traveller who’s thinking about it, the perfect weather and the amazing view made it all worth it for me. Watching the video now is already making me want to do it again!

Bucket List Accomplishment If skydiving is on your bucket list like it was for me, Cairns is the perfect place to do it. I chose to go with Tandem Cairns because they have an office in Cairns in walking distance to where I was staying.

I booked my jump the night before, in person at the office. I’m glad I did because I was able to take advantage of some promotions that aren’t advertised online. The girl at the office was super nice, unfortunately I didn’t catch her name.

On the morning of the jump, I made my way back to the office to check in. After a short wait, the bus came by to pick us up and take us to the drop zone in Innisfail. A video is played on the bus to demonstrate what to do as a tandem jumper. I wanted to do the beach landing, but the weather conditions were not favourable for this so had to settle for the field landing. The views were still amazing.

After arriving at the drop zone, I waited in a lounge where videos from the previous day’s jumps are played on tv. Purses and bags can be left safely behind the counter with staff. When it’s your turn to get ready, you’re lead to another building to put on the harness and then it’s time to get on the plane.

I jumped from 15,000 feet with instructor Tim and my outside cameraman Hin. I felt completely safe with them. The videos and pictures turned out great. A memory for a lifetime! The extra money for an outside view was well worth it! Thanks Tim and Hin for helping me tick off this bucket list item!

Birthday present Bought this as a birthday present for my partner and it was an experience to remember! Leah on reception was wonderful, such a high level of customer service. We asked questions she’s probably answered hundreds of times, but she answered with as much enthusiasm and interest as if it were her first day. She is a credit to the company. As for the dive itself, the transfer was good and the dive process was organised and professional. Do it!
