Excellent Experience From Start To Finish From start to finish this was an excellent experience. The staff were extremely attentive, kind and helpful. The tapas were wonderful and the sparkling wine certainly flowed freely! Good music too. Being on a catamaran boat felt a more authentic way to sail and the sunset certainly didn’t disappoint. Thank you to all the staff for making this such a fun and memorable evening.

You've got to do this!!! This was the "jewel in the crown" of our stay in the Territory.
Waited until our last night to use the cruise as a celebration of our holiday. Cannot find one fault with this 3 hour cruise, we are 3 couples which pretty much made up 20% of the full compliment of passengers on board.
From the very moment we sat ourselves down on the comfortable bean chairs, we were served constant top ups of champers and the yummy and varied food just kept coming.
The captain & crew were fabulous and accommodated every request.
We took our own alcohol as well but if you're into "bubbles" your won't need to take a thing except a "party" mood.
Thoroughly recommend this .

Amazing Sunset tour! This has been an absolutely amazing experience. Unlimited champagne served all thru the trip by the amazing and affable Jamie. He’s a hoot too! Unbelievable and plentiful food prepared fresh by Japanese chef extraordinaire Yuki. Served up by the lovely Carlotta. And the yacht steered by the friendly and informative Captain Will. You can also take your own byo. Extraordinary value for money!

We had an amazing time on the Sundancer Sunset Cruise! The crew kept our sparkling wine glasses topped up all evening, which made the experience feel extra special.

The food was absolutely delicious- huge compliments to the chef. Everything was beautifully prepared and the bao buns were definitely my favourite!

A special shout-out to Jamie whose friendly, fun attitude and excellent service really made the evening. He was attentive, engaging and added so much to the atmosphere.

As a Darwin local, I took an hour off work so my partner and I could make this cruise, arriving at the recommended check-in time. We were excited to celebrate my partner’s BIRTHDAY, only to arrive and be told our seats were the back bench directly behind the captain.

Meanwhile, everyone else was comfortably seated on the beanbags and front seating areas with the beautiful, unobstructed views that this cruise is advertised for. We were effectively stuck at the back, isolated from everyone else, with the worst view on the boat (photo 3).

Just because your catamaran can legally carry 36 people does not mean you should sell 36 tickets (as your staff advised). It was completely overcrowded, and the experience felt like maximising profit instead of ensuring every guest actually enjoyed what they paid for.

When we questioned the seating, one of the crew told us not to worry because “people move around during the cruise to go to the toilet, so more seats become available.” I then asked whether it would be acceptable for me to take someone’s seat while they were in the bathroom because, personally, I wouldn’t appreciate someone taking mine. The response was incredibly blasé. That is not an acceptable solution, nor is it something staff should be telling paying customers. Guests shouldn’t have to hover, wait for someone to use the toilet, or play musical chairs just to experience the views they paid for.

For $180 per ticket, this is simply unacceptable. A premium experience should feel premium. Instead of squeezing every possible dollar out of each cruise, perhaps consider limiting numbers to around 25-28 guests so everyone has a comfortable seat and can actually enjoy the experience.

To their credit, they have offered a refund, which I have accepted. However, given how focused this business appears to be on selling every available ticket regardless of the customer experience, I sincerely hope that refund actually eventuates.

The most disappointing part is that this wasn’t just any evening—it was my partner’s birthday. We organised our work schedules, gave up income by taking time off, made the effort to arrive early as instructed, and were left feeling like an afterthought. That is time and money we’ll never get back, and it’s incredibly disappointing that what should have been a special celebration was completely overshadowed by poor management and greed.

This experience could have been avoided simply by selling fewer tickets. Instead, the company chose to prioritise maximum capacity over customer satisfaction.

Absolutely unacceptable. I would never recommend this cruise to anyone, especially locals looking to celebrate a special occasion as my partners birthday was ruined.

Paradise cruise. My highlight in Darwin. Top experience. I was in heaven! What a sensation it was.

Sunset Review The open deck of a sailing boat made for a relaxing cruise with attentive staff and plenty of nibbles and drinks , you can also bring on board you own drinks if you dont like bubbles . Sailing in the harbour gave you a sense of freedom and great views of sunset

The best atmosphere for a sunset cruise in Darwin! This cruise surpassed my expectations - the sparkling wine truly is unlimited (& topped up extremely frequently); the food was truly delicious (with at least two bites of each course offered, spread over the night, so I didn't leave hungry either) and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Sitting on bean-bag chairs on a catamaran is both comfortable and brings you closer to the natural experience as you take in the sunset with the wind in your hair.
I've done a Darwin sunset cruise with another company before and this completely blew it away - hands down it's the best way to enjoy a Darwin sunset.

Sunset Dining Cruise. Very enjoyable throughly recommend the cruise. Very friendly crew, great food and service with a well stocked bar. The cruise also had designated tables for the passengers and was not over crowded.

10/10 Hands down best experience! 10/5 was hands down one of the best experiences ever, got to see a beautiful side of Darwin that makes me fall in love with Top End more and more. There was two rowdy women on board that were swiftly asked to leave and needed to get off first and the staff handled it so beautifully. Thank you for the memories!!

Shambles Went there as per the instructions and an hour early, went to the office at 5 like it said on the door.. was at the dock ..
I’m pissed of the boat left without us , no phone call to see where we were !!!
It appears I was at the wrong dock !!

Stunning Sunset Cruise I honestly thought 3 hours might be too much but it turned out that 3 hours was absolutely perfect to experience sunset sailing, bottomless bubbles and a delicious seven-course tapas-style dinner! Sailing through Darwin harbour aboard the spacious and comfortably appointed catamaran, Sundancer, we watched the sun lazily set over the horizon, to a background of pleasant tunes, friendly conversation and delicious food! With passengers capped at 30, there was plenty of space to move around. We started off the cruise sitting on the side of the main hull, then later on moved to the beanbags at the front of the cat. The staff (particularly, Nolan!) were amazing - friendly, attentive and efficient! Small note - be prepared to kick your shoes off - it's the best way to experience the cruise! Great value for money and an awesome way to experience the beautiful harbour. Although our cruise was relatively flat, it probably isn't the best for those prone to seasickness!

A sunset sail on Sundancer is an absolute must-do!

From the moment we stepped aboard the 50 ft catamaran, the experience was exceptional. Skipper Alex was incredible—professional, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what he does. The crew were just as impressive, serving up amazing food and drinks that made the whole evening feel relaxed and indulgent.

Watching the sunset out on the water was simply stunning and created a truly memorable atmosphere.

If you’re looking for a special experience, this sunset cruise ticks every box. Highly recommend!

A must do in Darwin Great skipper and crew made for an enjoyable time on Darwin harbour. Made way under sail for most of the time. Food was great and there were endless bubbles. Sunset was ordinary due to heavy cloud but overall experience was first class.

Wonderful evening This was such a lovely way to spend an evening. Beautiful catamaran, comfy seating all around and my glass was never empty!! Staff very attentive, bringing food and drinks the whole trip. Once we were under sail it was beautiful, the sunset stunning. My non-wine-drinking husband was very happy he could BYO his own bevies, with esky and ice supplied. We are so happy we did this cruise

A great experience I couldn’t have picked a better excursion for a a solo evening in Darwin.

The moment I stepped on board, I was handed a glass of chilled bubbles and the team made it their mission to ensure it was never empty!

The seating was comfortable. The only difficulty was trying to get up! Luckily the crew constantly came around with delicious food so I didn’t need to. 100% recommend!

You don’t have to leave Australia for a world class cruise Every thing was perfect from the moment we boarded. The staff was amazing in their service and friendliness. The food and drinks flowed continuously the whole journey. We were under full sail and the atmosphere was amazing. The captain was very experienced and sailed up the mangroves to show us what a crocodile trap. He did great job of sailing and the whole ride was so beautiful. By far my favourite cruse. Definitely worth the money.

Easily our best on water sunset tour We booked based on other Reviews and the fact it was an all fully catered (food and sparkling wine) tour. And the tour didn't disappoint. Staff James and Barb were amazing despite the slight chop on the water keeping them on their toes. Food kept coming, drinks kept coming and the sunset was amazing. Would highly recommend this catered tour for anyone seeking a fun and relaxing evening on the water to see Darwin's sunset. Thanks goes to James and Barb for excellent service.

Fabulous Sunset Cruise This is the second time I've been on this cruise this year, and both times have been absolutely superb. I truly can't fault it. Excellent value for money - highly recommend!

First class experience with the team in this boat. A warm welcome, comfortable seating plenty free flowing bubbles and the food was delicious and plentiful and to top it off the music was awesome and perfect for a wee party! Shoutout to Jamie and the younger deckhand can’t remember his name but both had good patter and were very hospitable! Thoroughly recommend!

You'd be hard pressed to find better value. The only thing that came close to the flow of bubbly was the flow of delicious food. The atmosphere was very chill and made even better by attentive and friendly staff aboard.

Hats off to the chefs, working so hard to create such a delicious array of dishes, they out did themselves. Every meal that come out just kept getting better. The flavours were dancing in my mouth, the tenderness of the dishes you can taste how much love was put into each of them.

Absolutely stellar service from the moment the Captain helps you on board. The crew are gorgeous, the food is delicious, the sights are spectacular. Then there's the sunset. Darwin truly turned it on whilst we were on board, but even if it wasn't a gorgeous sunset I would highly recommend. Such a beautiful experience. The Captain and Chef don't get enough credit because they're behind the scenes making the magic happen. Thank you all for an experience I'll never forget.

Just a great tour, on a beautiful boat, with exceptional staff. The sunset in Darwin is also amazing. The food might be anything too special but everything else makes up for that.

Lovely relaxing cruise Very relaxing cruise. Not too many people so could sit at the front of the catamaran in beanbag chairs. Drinks and food were plentiful and staff were friendly, but not intrusive. Would recommend.

This was one of the highlights of our visit to Darwin and we can not recommend highly enough.
We arrived at Dock 1 with time to spare and boarded Sundancer about 10 minutes before the cruise left.
After a safety briefing and an introduction to the boat from the Captain we set off.
The sparkling wine flowed freely through out the cruise and there was plenty of cold water and soft drinks on offer.
Roberta and Alida looked after everyone so well, keeping us well feed and ensuring our glasses were never empty. We were served a fabulous array of food including home made beetroot dip and warm pita bread, homemade guacamole with corn chips, prawn dumplings, arancini balls, barramundi bites, chicken satay skewers to name but a few. The food was tasty, well presented and there was plenty of it.
The music was a great range of 80', 90's and more recent tunes.
We cruised along the coast towards Fannie Bay and moored for a period of time to watch the stunning sunset, before cruising back to the dock.
This 3hr relaxing cruise was worth every cent and we will definitely do it again next time we visit Darwin...thank you :)
