Aimee and Nathan were absolutely amazing from the start to finish. Very accomodating and patient with my father who has mobility issues but they got him in the helicopter and he had a great time. Definitely coming back for more rides in the future

I would give a million stars if I could, I think that explains it self. If you are wanting to do a helicopter flight this is the place. Aimee was lovely with a welcoming personality. Aimee made our pre flight experience super easy and smooth.
Nathan was beyond incredible while on the flight. He was professional but also very friendly and easy to talk to. Nathan was very informative on the flight and pointed out more locations than what was mentioned on the flight plan. Nathan went above and beyond to ensure we saw the whales that were shortly in the distance.
Once again I could not recommend this place enough for a helicopter flight.

Whale watching by helicopter We went for a half hour Fraser Island tour because the whale watching tour boats had shut down. Nathan took us for a quick helicopter tour of the island and then over the ocean to look for whales. They were pretty scarce but Nathan was able to find us two adults and a calf. The helicopter ride itself would have been an experience but seeing the whales made it perfect! Thanks Nathan!

We had the most amazing experience with Great Ocean Helicopters. Aimee was fabulous to deal with and made all arrangements with our enjoyment her main concern. She selected the perfect day for our 30 minute flight over K’Gari. Our pilot (Nathan) was fabulous and we even spotted whales putting on a show. A big thank you to Aimee & Nathan. What an experience we had this morning. Did the Fraser Island tour and was looked after by Amy for the booking and Nathan for the flight. Their service was friendly but professional and saw some amazing sights across Fraser Island including a whale and calf sighting. This was our first ever helicopter flight and we felt so safe in Nathan's hands. Great Experience. Highly recommended.

It was bit dreary early today, and kind of worried about the weather.

But the sky shined later and thanks to the awesome pilot we would see such breathtaking landscapes!

Hervey Bay and Fraser Island are two of the most stunning places I’ve visited.

I was lucky enough to experience a wonderful heli flight for two over K’gari for my birthday last week and I highly recommend these guys to show you how beautiful & amazing this place is from the air. They were super friendly and flexible with time and date and worked around local weather conditions. A photographers dream ????????????

Sensational experience flying with Nathan - Great Ocean Helicopter over K'gari (Frazer Island) Awesome experience, relaxed but professional. They were happy to accommodate our desire to see whales and we were seriously impressed. A wonderful clean helicopter and Nathan is a very skilful pilot. Took a 25 minute flight and while the weather wasn't perfect we had a great time. Nathan and Aimee were fabulous. Nathan was very informative on the flight and Aimee welcomed us with a huge smile and bubbly personality.

We booked our flight with a days notice and Aimee was so helpful and friendly making sure all our needs were met. We had come back from Fraser Island wanting to see the whales from the sky as oppose to Fraser Island itself- Aimee tailored a flight to suit us perfectly at no extra cost to the ones advertised. Nathan piloted the flight and was excellent. He explained everything we saw and could answer all our questions.

An experience to remember, will be coming back next year to experience whale season in full bloom!

Great experience from start to finish! Aimee was so helpful over the phone and organised our great tour on very little notice! So helpful and informative at the office too. Nathan then took us over Fraser and tailored our trip so that we’d spot some whales (which we requested prior to our flight). We couldn’t recommend the experience enough, no matter what time of year. This helicopter trip is MUST DO if traveling to Fraser Island (K’gari) to bring it all into perspective. This helo flight is a must do if you are going to Fraser Island (K’gari).

My teenaged kids and I took the 35minute flight over Fraser taking in Lake McKenzie, Eli Creek, the Maheno wreck, many other lakes, creeks and swap lands and then back from the east coast of Fraser Island over the west coast beaches and back into Hervey Bay.

It was great to view all of that beauty from above after having hired a land cruiser and trekked across those same locations by 4WD on the ground.

Perfect to get the different perspectives.

The operators recommended flying at low tide so we could get a better view of the sand islands and marine life.

Loved it and would do it again. A must do. The team are super friendly. We did the 15 minute flight across the islands, up the coast and back across Hervey Bay. Although I had trouble with my mic, I sat and listened. I would do this again definitely.

Brilliant was to see the beautiful Hervey Bay and Fraser Island Have just completed a 30min flight over Fraser Island and greater Hervey Bay. Apart from the stunning views we found Aimee & Nathan to be professional, friendly and accommodating. Aimee even puppysat our pooch whilst we were in the air. A brillaint way to see this picturesque part of Queensland. Highly recommended.
