Legendary Steve Irwin Zoo Picked up in central Brisbane by this nice South African couple, who entertained on the 1,5 hour drive. The park is a clear monument to the amazing Steve Irwin and his family. A lot of the place carry both his image and spirit. Worth a visit

Enjoyable and educational tour. We loved our tour. Everything went very well. We enjoyed Steve's commentary and valuable tips on how to walk around The Zoo and the times listed for the tiger and the Crocoseum show. Steve spent time doing his best to ensure everyone was happy. We appreciate his friendly manner and caring approach.

Good itinerary, Bad Transport We booked the trip with them last minute. The bus driver talked the whole way there (I didn't mind that - I found him interesting, though I could see some people not appreciating quite as much). He pointed out a couple of rock formations that were cool, though it would have been nice to pull over and get a picture of them. We then had a stop by the Veterinary hospital at the zoo which was brief but interesting. Once there, he shared tips for seeing the zoo and feeding the kangaroos and set us free for about 5.5 hours. To be clear, while the driver did give us tips and a map, he didn't guide us through the zoo. MOST of this "trip" is the transport with a couple of small bonus things. Again, this was fine for us, but it's important to understand you're not getting a guided tour of the zoo.

My only real complaint is the seats on the couch there. You spend probably 2-2.5 hours sitting in them and if you're tall, the seats are very uncomfortable because the legroom is terrible. Seriously, economy plain tickets get you more leg room. In fairness, this seems to be normal with all tours we've taken in Australia so it's normal. But should it be? If all the tour groups gave 3 inches more leg room, then that would become normal instead. So just because they all seem to do it is really no excuse in my opinion. The legroom and subsequent discomfort in the seats costs them a star.

Fantastic Day at Australia Zoo, Thanks to a Great Guide This was a great experience! I’m really glad I booked this tour. Our guide timed the drive perfectly to avoid traffic, which made the whole day much smoother. Before heading into the zoo, we stopped at the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital, where we saw vets treating an injured bird and bringing in a baby possum. It was a rare and touching experience to witness.

At the zoo, the guide gave us great tips on which shows to catch and the best route to see as many animals as possible in one day. I followed his advice and managed to see everything I wanted.

My favorite part was the crocodile show featuring members of the Irwin family. It was exciting and really well done. I also loved feeding and petting the kangaroos.

The Croc Café inside the zoo was another pleasant surprise. The service was fast, the food selection was great, and the cheeky birds trying to sneak a bite added to the fun.

amazing tour and guide I have been to Australia Zoo before but this was my first time with this company and they were outstanding. Our driver was brilliant. He was so accomodating (we mixed our booking up!) and informative. He gave us tips for the day which really made the experience for us. He provided some commentary there and back which was lovely also. Thank you for a great experience driver! Highly reccomend!!

Disappointed to leave early... Everything was well organized and on time. Coach was basic, but got us to the zoo and back to Brisbane safely. My only beef was only getting (not quite) 5 hours at the zoo, as opposed to the (at least) 6 hours as advertised. The drive/owner wanted to avoid the traffic and leave at 3pm (of course there was no traffic). For $700, I expect full value. If you want to catch some of the shows its difficult to see and appreciate the entire zoo in 5 hours and also peruse the gift shops. You need the full 6 hours at the very minimum.

Don’t do any other tour but this! Steve was such an amazing driver and gave us so much great information and facts along the drive to the zoo about animals, Brisbane and sights along the drive. He was extremely knowledgeable and a safe driver and I’d be happy to go on any tour as long as he’s driving.

Australia Zoo Being from the US, we had watched “Crikey! It’s the Irwins” for quite a while. As a result, walking around this amazing zoo seemed very familiar. The zoo has been carefully and amazingly designed to allow guests to see the vast number of animals and birds in very natural habitats. Unfortunately, the famous Crocoseum was undergoing renovation and so we missed seeing the show there. The animals are all in areas that allow easy viewing. We also walked through the famous animal hospital associated with the zoo. It is worth the short walk to see outside the actual zoo.

After that we were drove to Mooloolaba beach and we had beach time and right after we were taken to Mooloolaba beach Club and ate large prawns, chicken wings, fries and laughed so much with Richi and Lynley we had an amazing time, we felt special and we felt really well taken care

Great Way to Visit the Zoo! This tour is perfect for visiting the Australia Zoo from Brisbane. Pickup at the hotel was right on time. Our guide Steve providing entertaining commentary on the drive to the zoo and provided us with a suggested plan for touring the zoo in the allotted time, about six hours. He took us to the zoo's animal hospital when we first arrived at 9am; it was quite interesting and not yet crowded. I suspect that many visitors miss visiting the hospital.

Australia Zoo experience with Croc Tours The round trip with Croc Tours in a smart Mercedes 10 seater van was great! We were picked up in an easy to find location early and the drive there was very comfortable and quick. The driver was very good. We were chaperoned and guided through to the zoo hospital and then to the main zoo and given a comprehensive brochure and lots of good advice. The exhibits and keeper talks were great and the animal enclosures and grounds were very well kept. The animals looked very healthy and well cared for. It was easy to stroll around and there was a shuttle bus to and from the African section. The Crocosaurus show was fabulous and also included exotic and native birds and snakes and of course a crocodile! It was a fabulous day out! (Pickup 8am - delivery home at 5pm). The day was a Monday, not school holidays. There were a lot of people at the zoo, but there was plenary of space and time to see everything, comfortably.

Amazing trip to Australia Zoo! An amazing experience overall, even with rain it was still such a great zoo that really takes care of its animals. A special thanks to Steve our bus driver who told me that despite the koala encounters being booked out online I should just go to the guest desk and ask if a spot came free!! So happy to be able to have held a Koala! ????
Steve also gave us some good tips to get around the zoo the best way possible to see everything and feeding the kangaroos is his first tip, they were so fun and still very hungry in the early morning!!
The only downside was that some enclosures were closed for renovations.

Follow the Bus driver's suggested path through the Zoo A very good day at Australia Zoo. Our driver gave us some very good tips on the best path to follow through the zoo that made the most of our visit. Enjoyed all the animals especially feeding the kangaroos and photo with the koala. Catch the animal feeding as early as possible before they are overfed and sleeping in the shade.

Great day had all round! Steven was a brilliant guide. He had the most helpful tips and funny stories to keep us entertained on our way to and from the zoo. The zoo itself is a 5/5. It put on some great shows and had very good facilities.

Great day at the zoo! Our tour guide Steve was great! What a wonderful day spent at the zoo learning about the animals and the conservation efforts to continue endangered species. The koala nursery was our favorite! Steve kept us informed and entertained during the ride and gave us very helpful tips about the best ways to utilize our time while in the zoo to make sure we saw everything. Highly recommend!

Great way to spend our last day in Australia! Excellent trip, thank you for your flexibility to pick us up from the Ibis airport hotel in Brisbane. We wanted to spend our last day visiting Australia zoo before our night flight home to the UK. The collection and drop off were seamless, great communication regarding pick up time which was spot on. Friendly driver, comfortable transport, took us to the animal hospital at the zoo then escorted us through the entrance. We loved the zoo, a great way to spend our last day in Australia.

So much fun! Priscilla was Great! I can't say enough about this tour! First our driver Priscilla was so fun and friendly! I highly recommend her! She was the best tour guide I have ever had! The croc van picked us up at our hotel on time. We had plenty of time to explore the zoo and hospital. On the way home we stopped by the Glass Mountain's Scenic View Area where we had more time to take in the beauty. We were dropped off at our hotel. This tour is everything we expected and so much more! I will always use them when I visit Australia as they have tours and pick ups all over besides the Zoo.

Australia Zoo Our driver Richie arrived on time. The vehicle was very comfortable. Richie was courteous, friendly and had good local knowledge. When we arrived at the zoo, we were taken straight in to meet with the animals that made up the welcoming committee. Richie took a heap of photos of us and sent them through to us via WhatsApp. Will definitely use this company again.
