Start with a one hour wildlife cruise departing from Daintree Ferry Gateway , 315 Cape Tribulation Road, Lower Daintree . Located 300 metres before reaching Daintree River Ferry Crossing. After your cruise, drive 10 kilometres north to Daintree Discovery Centre at Cow Bay . This award winning centre includes an interpretive centre offering an interactive experience through touch screens and interpretive displays, discover the fascinating secrets of the Daintree Rainforest. There are five self-guided walks, available in eight languages, and also with an indigenous interpretation tour and children’s tour. Explore the 23 metre high canopy tower. The tower comprises of five different viewing platforms allowing visitors of all ages to access the various levels of the rainforest – from the forest floor to the uppermost reaches of the canopy. A 68 page interpretive Guide Book is included, full of information including birds, frogs, reptiles, weather and history.
