Tour Itinerary

730am – Batemans Bay hotel pickup commences (if you require a Canberra pickup or return, please let us know as we can accommodate this prior to 6am on the day of the tour).

Your driver and guide will greet you at your pickup location, before traveling just 45 minutes north of Batemans Bay
to Murramarang National Park. While you travel in our comfortable air-conditioned vehicle, you will have the opportunity to discuss your interests with your guide and aid in selecting the best suited section of the park to explore for the day.

815am – On the trail.

Step into another world and leave civilisation behind as you start walking along this exquisite coastline. We will take our
time to soak up the diversity of the quintessentially Australian landscape; stopping to discuss the significance of the geology in the area, the rich Indigenous history and the impact of early colonisation and industry. Keep your eyes peeled for dolphin and seals playing, soaring birds of prey, lounging kangaroos and many other native species. Learn about the impact of recent bushfires throughout the Park and its remarkable resilience.

Along the trail, stop for morning tea and lunch with a view. Sample treats from local producers and delicious Australian-roasted coffee as you refuel for your next leg of the walk.

Relish in a barefoot beach walk section and possible kayak or shallow wade across the lake, with time for a quick dip to cool down and reinvigorate.

Walk the north end of Nth Duras beach and over Pt Upright, where magical views await prior to your descent into Depot beach.

Considered an achievable walk for anyone with a relative degree of fitness, your guides will be there to support
you across any uneven sections of terrain or undulations, and ensure you go home with a huge sense of achievement!

2pm – Your driver will be waiting at the end of the trail to transport you back to your Batemans Bay accommodation, with many wonderful memories made!
