This charter departs from the stunning Wollongong Harbour. With a vast array of fishing grounds targeting Snappers, Morwong, Wrasse, Flathead and more, we know some of the best fishing spots that will guarantee you an unforgettable day.

Departing from Wollongong Harbour, this is a shared charter suitable for individuals and small groups of any skill level. Fish with ease while taking in the tranquil surrounds of Wollongong. Each charter is currently capped at 20 passengers to fish at any one time, so you can enjoy maximum comfort and a more personalised service throughout the experience.

Morning: 6am – 12pm, weekdays only

Afternoon (Daylight Savings only) – Available upon request: 1:30pm – 6:30pm

Closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day, 2 January


Highlights & inclusions

  • Departing from the iconic Wollongong Harbour, we fish anywhere from off the beach to 10 miles offshore, between Stanwell Park and Shellharbour.

  • Top of the range modern gear are supplied, including Shimano Saragosa 10,000 spin reels and Daiwa Beef Stick Z 10-20kg rods, along with bait, sinkers and fishing licence per person.

  • We cover a vast array of fishing grounds targeting Snappers, Morwong, Wrasse, Flathead, Leatherjacket, Eastern Pigfish and more.

  • Your catches of the day are gutted and cleaned for you to take home. Fish filleting is not provided.

  • Knowledgable skipper and deckhand.

  • Fully functional toilet onboard


Conditions

  • This charter needs at least eight (8) passengers to run. 

  • In the event that the number of passengers requirement is not met, individuals will be contacted at least 12 hours before and given the following options:

    • Reschedule to another day

    • Pay the minimum charge of eight (8) passengers to proceed

    • Get a refund

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking.

  • Passengers must be at least 8 years old to hold their own rod.

  • There is no wheelchair access to the boat. Passengers must be able to descend and climb a vertical ladder of 3 to 5 steps from the berth to embark and disembark the boat.

  • Our charters operate rain or shine. In the event that the weather is deemed too dangerous or unfavourable for a safe fishing experience, such as thunderstorms, high winds and/ or strong swells, our skippers will make the decision to cancel the charter.   • BYO food and drinks (alcohol is allowed in moderation).

  • All prices shown are in Australian Dollars, and include GST, but exclude card surcharges and booking fees.


Cancellation & reschedule policy

  • All bookings are transferable but strictly non-refundable for changes of mind. Cancellations made by you will result in forfeiture of the booking.

  • COVID-19 related circumstances, including but not limited to COVID positive cases, will not be entitled to refunds or reschedules. The cancellation policy will apply as usual. Read more on our COVID policy.

  • Weather conditions can be unpredictable and can change at any time, which is out of our control. As a result, cancellations usually occur the day before or the morning of your scheduled charter. Kindly take this into consideration when booking accommodation specifically for our charter. We highly recommend checking with your accommodation about their policy on last minute changes and cancellations.

  • Cancellations made by us due to bad weather or mechanical issues, you will be entitled to one of these options:

    • Reschedule to another day

    • Get a refund (or receive a Return Voucher if a gift voucher was used for the original booking)

    • Receive a Return Voucher that is valid for 3 years, equivalent to the value of your booking

  • Complimentary reschedules are offered up to 10 days before the charter. Any changes made after this time, up to 72 hours before the charter, will incur a 20% amendment fee. Any changes made within 72 hours of the charter will result in forfeiture of the booking.

CONFIRMED ORDER

  • Your booking is confirmed, and there’s nothing more you need to do.
  • To help you prepare for your upcoming trip, please visit this link.
  • Please note that your charter may still be cancelled due to bad weather. In which case, we will contact you by 6pm the day before your scheduled charter. If you don’t hear from us, your charter is going ahead on schedule.
  • Any changes in dates must be made with us at least ten (10) days prior to your scheduled charter. Changes made after this time (but not within 72 hours) of your charter, will incur a 20% amendment fee of your booking. Changes made within 72 hours of your charter will result in forfeiture of your booking.
  • All bookings are transferable but strictly non-refundable for changes of mind. Cancellations made by you will result in forfeiture of the booking.
PENDING ORDER
  • We most likely do not have the minimum number of passengers to run. This means that your charter is not guaranteed. Please do not book your accommodation or travel to Wollongong unless you have received a confirmation email.
  • You may reschedule or cancel your charter at any time while your order is still pending.
  • Please note that whilst your order is still pending, priority may be given to Whole Boat bookings.
