With everything from coffee to a seasonal lunch, as well as some delicious beers or wines, cocktails, and delectable nibbles along the way, this food tour will introduce you to some of the best food and beverages in Brisbane. It includes visits to five unique Brisbane venues, on a small-group private tour. Your knowledgeable guide will tell you all about the food you’re eating, plus the Brisbane food scene, and a little about the areas you visit so you get much more than just the food on your plate.

Whilst devouring some of Brisbane’s best dishes and local produce, you will also be guided on a journey of Brisbane’s food history, the stories behind the area and the places you’ll visit. You will learn first-hand from both your local guide and venues about how Brisbane has evolved into a World-Class foodie destination.

Tour Itinerary

Stop #1 – Ease into the morning with a Coffee Tasting and Morning Tea

To kick start your day, you will be taken through a coffee tasting and learn a little about the process taken to create the perfect roast. You will then enjoy some coffee paired with some morning tea made from a Queensland icon, and get to go behind the scenes of the roastery itself.

Stop #2 – Take in Some of the Best Views of the Brisbane River and its City

On the way to lunch you will have the opportunity to take in some of the best views of the Brisbane River and the city. This will also give you some insight into what Brisbane once was.

Stop #3 – Experience Local Produce and Locally Made Products Through a Specialty Market or Shop Visit

Either to complement your lunch experience, or just as a treat to enjoy later, you will visit one of the area’s great markets or similar stops to select a few local goodies, and experience the flavours produced in our region. Your experience will be enhanced here either with a guided tour, or meeting the producers and learning more about what goes into the products you will enjoy.

Stop #4 – Savour Queensland’s Local Produce Lunch

You will then enjoy a local produce lunch full of Queensland ingredients and sub-tropical flavours, paired with a refreshing non-alcoholic drink, which you will select. Lunch, as with all food and beverages will vary slightly depending on what is seasonally available, as well as to meet your specific tastes and dietary requirements. If seafood or meat for example aren’t to your liking, we’ll arrange other local produce to better suit your taste buds.

Stop #5 – Indulge with Handmade Chocolates Full of Sub-Tropical Flavours or Another Delicious Dessert Stop

Before the day is out, you’ll indulge in a variety of locally handcrafted chocolates or a locally inspired dessert. These Queensland infused chocolates or dessert options will be specifically selected based on your tastes and enjoyed with a hot drink.
