An Excellent Tour with a Fantastic Guide! Jimmy was a fantastic tour guide. Warm, sincere, knowledgeable, funny - everything we look for when touring. He was there waiting with David as we exited our cruise ship, had the van close by, and we were on our way! Was very much into wanting to know what WE wanted to see and do, and adjusted accordingly. Stopped to get us some wonderful cherries to snack on, and even took us to local sandwich/food location to grab a bite on the run, as we'd rather tour and see as much as possible than stop and eat. Saw a beautiful rain forest with waterfall, but also did a brewery tour and tasting. on top of that, he was extremely helpful in pushing my wife in a wheelchair during the tour (she injured herself on the ship). I highly recommend e-guide of Tasmania and David Heale's group for any tour you may take in Hobart.

We booked a private tour for Cradle Mountain from Bernie. The booking process was very smooth. Unfortunately, our cruise line canceled the port of call the very last minute (the evening before the planned tour). David was very gracious and helpful, proceeded a full refund in the very next day. A wonderful Transfer experience to and from the walls of Jerusalem . Going to was punctional and friendly. Returning was an above and beyond experience. I was able to contact David from Lake Adelaide via my Garmin mini and arrange an unscheduled transfer out. Two others showed up at the walls carpark a day early unannounced and David cheerfuly took them on board, rescheduled other connections and drove well out of his way to collect their luggage from a location where they were loaded up for the scheduled next day , and even cheerfully agreed to their request for an unscheduled meal stop. Then also managed to get me to my 17:35 flight to Melbourne. A remarkable display of logistics and driving. What a gentleman! Thank you David.

We had a helpful and thorough experience with David. Contacted him early for transport options for our Tassie hiking plans, and we pieced our shuttle itinerary together. As it got closer to the trip we had to tweak a couple of times, but it all worked seamlessly and the communication from David, Shawn & Ian was a big reason why we had such a great trip without needing to hire a car in Tassie.

Great service for Overland transfer (Lake St Clair - Cradle Mountain) Needed a transfer from Lake St Claire to Cradle Mountain after walking the Overland to pick up our rental car (which we had left in the carpark at Cradle Mountain Visitor's Centre). David and the team were superb at communicating and making sure they knew our plans (given weather uncertainties). Ian was there waiting for us as we walked off the ferry and drove us back via Queenstown and was happy to share his knowledge and experiences of the area as we drove. He got us to Cradle Mountain with plenty of time to get to Launceston before dark. Would absolutely recommend eGuide for transfers like this - I'm sure their tours are as good :-)

Shawn our driver who dropped us off at the Cradle mountain visitor centre is lovely human who drove my partner and I to the start of the OLT. *Spolier Alert* as I am writing this review, we made it through out of the track alive, with minor injuries and a lot of great souvenirs. David, Leo are really good with emails and communication to help with the organisation of the transport to and from the start of the OLT. Ian our second driver who brought us back to Launnie was really lovely and even stopped on the side of the road to show us a Tasmanian echidna. The trip of a lifetime and all made even more incredible through the simple booking process of the transport. We will be back and highly recommend eGuide as the best solution for all our/your transport needs.

Marie and Ian both provided a great experience getting to and from Cradle Mountain. They were lovely and friendly, providing plenty of information on the region and excellent suggestions. Marie was an excellent driver and we had some great discussions on the way there. Ian was kind enough to take some little detours on the return and show us some lovely local spots. Communication from David and Rosemary in the lead up was also brilliant. Definitely worth it for those who anticipate having trouble getting around Tassie!

An unexpected highlight of the trip! There weren't many options to transfer from Lake St Clair to Devonport, but even if there were I would choose eGuide every time! Very flexible with arrangements, great communication and seemless service on the day. Rather than just a transfer, the ride with David was more of a guided tour/history lesson/political critique/comedy show all rolled into one. It becomes one more highlight on your trip in this amazing part of the world!

Walls of Jerusalem transfers . Easy , efficient and excellent. David and Rosemary from E Guide made our transfers from Launceston to Walls of Jerusalem and return easy . Friendly, efficient and professional I engaged David for private transfers to and from Cradle Mountain after reading so many recommendations across the Internet and I have to say - the experience of organising a transfer on my own, first time visiting Tasmania without any access to a car, couldn't have been any smoother. David/Rosemary were both always very quick and responsive over email, graciously provided suggestions on my travel itinerary, and went one step further even, kindly offering a discount on one of my transfers which I had booked several months ahead but were unable to meet the minimum no. of pax for, as they understood it could be difficult finding passengers for that route. I'm willing to wager not very many companies out there would go out of their way to be so accommodating in such situations. David/Rosemary were also both very patient with my numerous queries I had visiting a land that was totally foreign to me with the difficulties I had without a car. Some of the other companies may be a bit flashier or some options in price may vary, but I honestly wish I had booked eGuide for the return trip from Overland Track, because the other company was yes, a little cheaper, but they were kind of grumpy. Whereas all the eGuide drivers I encountered through text or in-person were always lovely and nice to talk to—and I wasn't really in a talkative mood because I was super nervous, but my driver made me feel really at home straight away. Loved eGuide being part of my Overland Track journey and would 100% recommend—and also want to use their services for the next Tasmania adventure!

Cradle Mountain Day Trip I’m currently traveling for work and don’t have a car. I contacted David and the team to organise a day trip to Cradle Mountain nothing was too much trouble. I was picked up from my accomodation just outside of Devonport and taken to Cradle Mountain with a return trip that same afternoon. The service was fantastic, prompt, friendly and our driver was knowledgeable about the local area.

Excellent advice and great transportation service eGuide provide a terrific shuttle transfer from Launceston to Sheffield, then on to Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre and then collection from Lake St Clair seven days later.
eGuide made the organisation of our bushwalking trip super easy and David was always prompt with answers to my myriad questions. I would definitely recommend eGuide as a transport option for the Overland Track - they know their stuff and are wonderfully accomodating if your plans change.

Picked me up Deloraine and dropped me at Cradle and then met me after 7 days at Lake St Clair to return me to my van. Really reasonably priced for solo traveller.
Also was the David was the only one who realistically told me that I may be slower than my friends who had done it previously...my pack was 22kg and I am 153cm so may have been obvious
(FYI- I was 1.5 times the "recommended ' times so the tip was good)

Also hired PLB for $30 which I didn't set off.

Highly recommend and would definitely use them for with Sheffield or Deloraine if you have a car

Cradle mountain transfer Great people great service highly recommend, we caught bus from Devonport to cradle our driver was very knowledgeable and gave us some great tips.

This was the best (and more affordable ) transport from Launceston to Craddle Mountain and we had the best service!
