Brilliant view of dolphins as well, including some swimming underneath our kayak
I would 100% visit again for another tour
Tour guide was also incredibly patient and made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable throughout the tour. He knew exactly where to find the dolphins, gave us clear directions on where to paddle and what to do, and explained how the dolphins might come closer to us if we stayed calm and gave them space.
His enthusiasm and expertise made the whole experience unforgettable. I highly recommend this tour. Thank you for such a wonderful day!
My son said it was the best! Highly recommend it!!!
We were lucky enough to spot dolphins several times during the tour, including some very close to our kayaks. Seeing wild dolphins in their natural habitat was an amazing experience and even better than I expected.
The kayaking itself was fun, with beautiful scenery, shipwrecks, and interesting information about the local wildlife and environment along the way.
A special mention to our guide, Paddy, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience enjoyable. He also took some great photos for the group! 📸
I did the 3-hour tour, and it was more physically demanding than I expected, so be prepared for a bit of a workout. But it was absolutely worth it.
If you're visiting Adelaide and want a unique outdoor activity, I'd definitely recommend this tour! 🛶🐬💙
Great engaging active day out on the water and so much to see! We got to watch the Dolphins play first hand while learning all about the inlet and how the Mangroves help protect and conservate the ecosystem.
Our instructor Paddy was incredible and the real deal, he knows his stuff. We are taken through an engaging briefing before going out on the water. The tour takes about 3 hours and includes some marine facts, dolphin facts, geographical facts and some local history. Paddy was happy to answer any questions i had to throw at him and would recommend this tour to any newcommer to Adelaide or even a resident looking to get out for the day.
A fantastic family trip, well worth the cost.
They were super fun to watch!
Great experience - totally recommended!
We were super lucky with the weather and tides and were able to see lots dolphins and other wildlife. It was great to be able to learn more about the area, the shipwrecks and enjoy a few hours out on the water.
It was my very first time kayaking (I do SUP), but the short tutorial was very helpful. The highlight was when we entered the mangrove tunnel. I was able to see many birds, including pelicans.
Thanks guys…. We’re were the oldies in our group (67) but it wasn’t too strenuous and so glad we went!!
The detour through the mangrove forest creek was very cool, felt like a different little world.
Kendall showed us passing dolphins, which we were able to observe for quite some time. A visit to a shipwreck with Alex, who shared its history, and a romantic paddle through a mangrove creek, learning about its ecological importance, rounded off this adventurous tour. Of course, Alex and Kendall helped everyone back to shore. Highly recommended! Don't forget to bring plenty of sunscreen, water shoes, swim trunks, and a sun hat.
Also as an added bonus we got to see a dolphin and its calf tail slapping and playing which was the best added bonus.
His explanations were super clear and helpful, and thanks to him, we ended up having a really satisfying experience 🥹🥹🤍
I’ll definitely be back! Hopefully next time we can see the shipwrecks as the current didn’t allow for us to see them this time.
As soon as we hit the water we saw a dolphin straight away.
Paddling through the mangroves was very beautiful and quite an adventure as we were at low tide.
Our guide Abbey was so great, very relaxed and laid back and shared lots of knowledge about the mangroves.
The 1.5 hours went by too quick.
Our guide Liam was very professional with good knowledge of the area and the wildlife and when we capsized he was very calm and managed the situation really well.
The tour is really worth the time and money and we definitely recommend it to everyone.
The guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about the local wildlife. They made us feel completely at ease, even though we’re not super experienced kayakers. The pace was relaxed, allowing us to fully enjoy the scenery and each other’s company.
And the dolphins wow! Seeing them up close in their natural habitat was absolutely magical. At one point, a small pod swam right alongside our kayak. We even spotted a few other marine animals and learned so much about the ecosystem from our guide.
Highly recommend this experience to any couple looking to do something unique and meaningful together. We left with big smiles, unforgettable memories, and a renewed appreciation for the ocean and its incredible creatures. Don’t miss it!
Wonderful local Family business would highly reccomend!
We were really lucky to have two dolphins swim directly under our kayaks, apparently feeding.
Highly recommend.
The kayaking itself was peaceful and beautiful, with calm waters and plenty of time to enjoy the scenery. The highlight, of course, was seeing the 2 dolphins up close in their natural environment, a few different birds and a pelican as well
Our guide, Alex, was absolutely fantastic – knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about sharing the history and beauty of the area. Touring the shipwrecks was a highlight, and hearing about their history was so interesting. I even spotted multiple crabs and got to hold one, which was such a fun surprise!
While I only saw dolphins from a distance, it was still magical to see them in their natural environment. Hannah, who greeted us at the shore, was so lovely and helpful, making the whole process easy and welcoming.
Tip: Be prepared to get wet, and definitely make sure your phone is in a waterproof bag – you’ll thank yourself later!
Overall, this was such a peaceful and memorable trip. Huge thanks to Alex and the team for making it so special – you can really tell they love what they do!
The guides were friendly and knowledgeable, pointing out interesting facts about the local marine life and making sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. We even had some quiet moments just floating together, taking in the stunning scenery, it felt like our own little adventure.
If you’re looking for something unique and memorable to do as a couple, I couldn’t recommend this more. We left with huge smiles, beautiful photos, and a lovely shared memory we’ll be talking about for ages. Absolutely worth it!
It was my first time kayaking, and the initial session was both helpful and informative. The team gave clear instructions on how to paddle and control the kayak. A map was also provided, and you can choose your route based on your time and kayaking experience.
This is a must-do if you’re visiting Adelaide! I highly recommend it to anyone and would definitely do it again.
