Day One – Eungella National Park & “Land of the Clouds”

Journey inland through the Pioneer Valley as cane fields give way to lush rainforest slopes. At Eungella National Park — one of Australia’s best wild platypus viewing locations — we take our time observing these shy, fascinating animals in their natural creek habitat. Your guide shares stories of the rainforest, wildlife behaviour, and conservation efforts while you soak in the peace and highland atmosphere.

Evening – Cape Hillsborough Nature Retreat (Overnight Stay)

Travel back toward the coast and settle into your peaceful cabin accommodation at Cape Hillsborough, surrounded by forest, ocean breezes, and native wildlife. Unwind and enjoy the sounds of nature as the stars emerge above the treetops.

Day Two – Kangaroos at Sunrise

Rise early to witness kangaroos and wallabies feeding naturally along the beach at sunrise — one of Queensland’s most iconic wildlife experiences. Watch the colours of dawn unfold over the Coral Sea while your guide provides insights into the animals and this unique coastal ecosystem.
