Tractorless Vineyard combines old world knowledge with new world sustainable techniques to create exceptional cool climate wines in the Southern Highlands, NSW.

Embracing a combination of biodynamic techniques coupled with the integration of animal systems in vineyards – namely our star Tractorless Vineyard sheep – we hope to take our wines into another level of long-term sustainability and increasing wine quality.

Experience Sparkling will guide you through the styles and production methods of sparkling wine, including Methode Traditionelle, the production method used to create Champagne. Join us for a walking tour through our Tractorless Vineyard, a live sparkling wine production demonstration and a guided tasting through our exceptional cool climate sparkling wines.

Thanks for booking a Sparkling wine tour and tasting at our Blue Metal vineyard.
This is located at 132 Compton park Road Berrima. (Tractorless Blue Metal Vineyard)

The closest cross road is Green Hills road, continue along Compton park road past ‘Dogue country retreat’ and you will see our gate on the right hand side directly into the vineyard.

Please turn into the gate and park on your right, if we are not there to greet you please walk up the hill towards the shed/cellar door.

Remember this tour involves walking around the vineyard so we suggest wearing long pants, boots and bringing a hat and jacket. Our toilets are also about a 200-500m walk out of the vineyard so if possible we suggest going before coming on your tasting with us.

Please help us protect our farm from Biosecurity risk. Our greatest threat is grape phylloxera. This tiny insect pest destroys vines by feeding on their roots. It wiped out vineyards in the US, Eu and in Australia, which had to be replanted. Thankfully, phylloxera is currently confined but the insect can live on your boots, tyres etc for months. If you have been on vineyards out side of NSW in the past 2 months please ensure you are wearing different boots or driving a different vehicle or have given them a very good wash before entering out vineyard.

We look forward to teaching you about what we do and why its so sustainable.
