Worth the trip A fun day. Our guide was excellent - had good knowledge of the area and the wines. The lunch was excellent and the wineries visited were set in beautiful landscapes and offered a range of wines to enjoy.

Good, overall tour and a good lunch. It was a cloudy day with intermittent rain. A good thing to do on such a day. Views were limited but to be expected. Matt was a good driver, nice and smooth. You could give us a bit more info Matt, along the way. I really enjoyed the first winery. He said they struggle to grow grapes in that area but they were there for the honey and the honey wine (mead) they make. Very interesting and lots of different flavours. A distillery at the end and a good look around the hinterland and Mount Tamborine.

Terrible tour The tour was absolutely terrible. The wineries were dirty and lack lustre. Ammenities were substandard. The wines and liqueurs tasted awful. “Gourmet lunch” was a lukewarm stew.
The bus driver gave no commentary.
It was over priced .. just terrible ..

I recently had the pleasure of joining Vino Bus Tours for a wine-tasting experience up the beautiful Tamborine Mountain, and it was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. Our first stop was at the Witches Falls Family Winery, where we were introduced to a wide assortment of Provenance and wild ferment wines. The tasting was expertly guided, and I especially enjoyed the wild ferment chardonnay and Provenance shiraz. But the real highlight for me was the 2022 wild ferment Lambrusco—smooth, vibrant, and easily my favourite of the day. Next, we were treated to a delicious lunch paired with Hampton Lane wines and refreshing local Aussie beer. The setting was relaxed and welcoming, a perfect way to break up the tastings while still indulging in great flavours. From there, we visited the Cedar Creek Estate Vineyard and Winery, which turned out to be one of my personal highlights. Their Starboard was phenomenal, and I was lucky enough to try the grandfathered 1997 LP selection, which was truly exceptional and unlike anything I’ve tasted before.
What made the tour even more special was the knowledge shared throughout the journey. Vino and the other wine experts explained the entire craft behind wine- and champagne-making, from soil composition and the importance of climate to the nuances of fermentation. We learned about the difference between wooden and aluminium barrels, and the aging process that gives each wine its unique character. It felt like a masterclass in winemaking woven into a fun, laid-back tour. The grand finale was a visit to the Tamborine Mountain Distillery, renowned as the most award-winning distillery in the area. Here, we sampled an impressive range of liqueurs, schnapps, vodkas, and spirits. I was especially struck by the Moulin Rouge Absinthe, an incredibly potent spirit at 60% alcohol per shot—definitely not for the faint-hearted, but an unforgettable tasting experience! Overall, the day was excellent. The tour was well-organized, the tastings were top-notch, and Vino was superb—knowledgeable, attentive, and great fun. I would highly recommend Vino Bus Tours to anyone looking for a unique wine-tasting adventure in the Gold Coast, Australia. It’s the perfect blend of education, indulgence, and beautiful scenery.

Winery Tasting Tour, Beautiful countryside and great food & vibes Beautiful countryside & wineries, bus Collected our Hens Party and dropped us all back to & from hotel in Fortitude Valley, especially loved the beauty of Albert's winery & The Hamptons vibe, food & wine and destination, was well organised & very tasty, especially loved the history & having the owner (The gardener) promote his beautiful venue, the live music was fun, especially when all started getting involved. Thankyou Tony for your professionalism & Safe driving getting all us Ladies from point A to Z and back. Would do again with friends and my Hubby. Highly recommend. There’s wine in the hills!!! Great tour. Barry was a fantastic and knowledgeable host. The selection of Winery’s balanced the day beautifully. Also a great way to learn about Mt Tambourine and its history. I would recommend for someone looking for variety in the Gold Coast.

I had an absolutely amazing experience with The Vino Bus! From start to finish, everything was smooth, fun, and filled with good vibes. The team was so kind and accommodating — I asked to be dropped off at a different location and they happily arranged it for me, which made me feel so safe and well taken care of. Seriously, such a sweet gesture!

I also accidentally left my tripod on the coach (my silly mistake), and they helped me find it without hesitation. I’m so grateful for their patience and support.

The tour itself was perfect — we visited three beautiful wineries and one distillery, each offering unique tastings and lovely scenery. I genuinely loved every bit of it, and I’m already looking forward to joining again with my friends.

We did this trip in2023, and it was really good. The trip this time was very average in comparison. Our lunch was cold, and no glass of wine came with our meal. The experience at the Distillery was also nothing like as good as our previous trip.

Wonderful Winery Tour – Thanks to Our Amazing Guide, Nicole! This was such a memorable day from start to finish! Nicole, our guide, was incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming — she made the whole experience fun and comfortable from pickup to drop-off. I truly appreciated her warmth and energy throughout the day.

We visited four different wineries, and each one had its own charm. The staff at every stop were pleasant and made the wine tastings even more enjoyable. The whole tour felt well-organized and relaxed.

What made the day even more special was the great company I had — four gentlemen from the UK (rugby union fans!) and a lovely father and son duo from Luxembourg (also into rugby union). Sharing the experience with such friendly and fun fellow travelers added so much joy to the day. Thank you all for the great conversations and laughs!

My fiancé, mum, dad and I had the most wonderful day with Barry on the Tambourine Mountain Wine Tour. Barry was such a great guide and answered all of our questions about the region and the alcohol. Having done wine tours in the past, this was by far our favourite. The servings were so generous at each winery/distillery and the lunch was delicious. The establishments we visited were authentic and rustic; we absolutely loved them. The drive between locations was also an incredible way to see the scenery of Mount Tambourine! Overall, this was such a great experience and we’d highly recommend to anyone visiting The Gold Coast. Thank you Barry and The Vino Bus!

Disappointing Experience – Wouldn’t Recommend I’ve been on countless wine tours across renowned regions like the Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula, Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale, and Napa Valley, and this was by far the worst experience I’ve had.

A great wine tour is about more than just the wineries. It’s the atmosphere, the energy, and most importantly, the guide who sets the tone for the day. Unfortunately, the driver (Boris? Morris?) was a complete letdown. Instead of engaging with guests, he spent the entire time talking about himself. Every other tour I’ve been on had a guide who was fun, warm, and made an effort to create a great experience. This guy? Zero charisma. He ignored requests for music and seemed to think we were there to listen to his life story rather than enjoy a wine tour.

To make matters worse, he wasn’t just the driver. He was also the one pouring the wine at each stop. Usually, the wineries themselves lead tastings, guiding guests through the experience. Not here. Instead, we had Boris/Morris, who had an ego the size of a vineyard, dismissed any feedback, and unbelievably started short-changing our tasting pours when people commented on how bad some of the wines were.

For contrast, a recent tour I did in the Yarra Valley in Victoria was everything this one wasn’t. The guide was incredible, had a shared Spotify playlist so everyone could add songs, actually interacted with guests, joined us for lunch, left his ego at the door, and made the experience fun. The wineries led the tastings as they should, the wine was fantastic, and we even won prizes during the tour. Oh, and it was half the price of this one.

Unless they bring in more engaging and guest-focused staff, I wouldn’t recommend this tour. A wine tour should be fun, interactive, and memorable for the right reasons. This one was anything but.

Nice relaxed day Great vineyards and a good variety of reds and whites to sample. Lunch was great quality and we had Salmon (huge) and lamb shoulder which was very tender. The liqueur tasting at the last stop was a nice change. Great pick up and drop off from hotel in Fortitude Valley.

An adventure present well worth receiving The entire day was fantastic from pickup at accommodation to drop off many hours later. The tour guide was accommodating, friendly and very informative about Mount Tamborine and made the tour.

I don't often take the time to write reviews, but my partner and I had such an unforgettable experience that I felt compelled to share! Our tour guide, Ari, was exceptional — super friendly guy with a great sense of humour. He went above and beyond to ensure everyone had an amazing time. We especially loved the wines at Cedar Creek Estate and even bought a few bottles to take home! I'll definitely be recommending this tour to friends and family.

OUTSTANDING TOUR HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! Our wine tour with Vino Bus was OUTSTANDING with GREAT wines GREAT food GREAT views and a FANTASTIC driver with Ari at the helm. He was so knowledgeable about both the wines we tasted and the mountain itself showing us Aboriginal bushtucker at Mason winery, native stinging
plants and teaching us about the history of the land. The views from Brisbane to the mountain and beyond were simply STUNNING with a contrast of outback Australia to lush green rainforest. We saw hang gliders sailing off the lookout point. Ari even found time to stop for Fudge and ice cream in between wine tastings with a couple of beautiful boutique shops to satisfy our shopping needs. Thank you Ari and thank you Vino bus. We will definitely be booking another tour with Vino towards the end of the year. HIGHLY recommend 10 STARS out of 5.

Meh! The only positive about the trip was the views, unfortunately the wine tastings felt rushed and wine wasn’t that great, didn’t really learn much and felt like we spent the full day driving around. Would’ve been nice to stop around and enjoy the views and at least see where the grapes grow, especially for the price we paid, $200 per person is a lot.
The food was shocking! Arrived stone cold and lacked flavor.
I’d recommend just doing a wine tour alone instead of with the company. Would probably save you money and least you can enjoy the day without feeling rushed.
Also no stops along the way if you need to use the restrooms once you leave the mountain.
Overall pretty disappointing.

Good day out wine tasting Full day wine tour to Mt Tamborine. 3 vineyards for tastings and a distillery tasting. Barry picked us up on time, and the tour ran efficiently. Unfortunately Barry had largely lost his voice, so despite his best efforts, the tour was fairly silent. The lunch was very good and the distillery particularly was great. The 3rd wine tasting was our least favourite with a very lacklustre tasting host and mediocre wine.

Great. The views were amazing, had a wonderful lunch and a wander thru the lovely markets. Spent a few dollars as well. Great experience. Would recommend. 😃😃

Fabulous family day out Fabulous day out for the family, celebrating my 85yo dad’s Father’s Day. Barry (the driver and guide) was awesome!!! The wines were great. The scenery amazing. The lunch fabulous. And the joy was boundless. Loved it and would definitely recommend!!! Looking at doing another with this company in the near future.

It's been now 5 times I've done this wine tour. And in Brisbane this is definitely the best value, but most importantly, the best staff! Barry was so patient with us this past Saturday with our group of 12 guys. The food at Mason Wines was on point! Couldn't recommend enough!

Great full day wine tasting experience. Loads of different wines sampled and fabulous lunch. We were looked after very well by our driver, with water and snacks provided between vineyards. The distillery rounded off a very full day with interesting flavours of gin and vodka amount others.

Mt Tambourine Wine Tasting Tour Mum, Dad, daughter plus another couple decided to indulge in this trip. Conversation flowed freely between our two gtoups. We went to 3 vineyards plus a distillery.
In the first we were hosted by a young hostess who was knowledgeable and pleasant.

Our second location was by far the best. We had our lunch here, which was delicious. I had a very nice steak; whilst my wife and daughter had a delicious salmon. The pièce de résistance was Barry, our driver, who shown enthusiasm for the wine and full of interesting facts. With each pour, he regaled us with captivating tales and intriguing tidbits, All in all a highly recommended wine tour. Highly recommended

Wonderful Experience A friend and I did this tour (from the Gold Coast) on Valentine's day. It was so lovely. We got to visit many wineries (the first was our favourite) and enjoyed a wonderful meal in the mountains. I would definitely recommend this day trip for anyone who enjoys a relaxing tour experience and wine. We learn so much about wine and even how the position of your eyes changes the smell of wine. Simply wonderful.

Fantastic wine tour! The vino bus was the only company that didn't require minimum numbers which was a relief. 3 wineries and 1 distillery were all fantastic, lunch was delicious and we had time to explore the grounds a bit before heading off to the next destination. Tour guide Boris was great! Very knowledgeable in all things vineyard and loved a good pun/dad joke. The 'cheese platter' was somewhat underwhelming as it was a single wheel of brie shared between 5 but it was better than nothing. The bus had excellent air con in this summer heat and the variety of wines we tried was also on par ???? would recommend The Vino Bus tours for anyone seeking some wine tastings in a beautiful part of Queensland.

Highs and Lows First the highs. Our driver and host Barry was excellent and we had a fun tour group. We loved Witches Falls Winery. The wines and the outdoor setting were impressive. Our tasting host Tara was incredible! The scenery on the tour does not disappoint. It’s beautiful! Now for the lows. The other wineries we visited and the distillery were a real disappointment. We didn’t enjoy anything we tasted. Lunch was rather average and we were served a few defrosted pastries for dessert. It’s a shame after such a great start at Witches Falls.

Great day outing Booked online the day prior to travelling with a friend. A group of 9 in total who mixed well once the ice was broken. From city hotel pickup to final drop was a super day. 3 wineries with an excellent lunch at the second plus a distillery visit. Ali our driver/guide was excellent knowing when to join in and when to leave passéngers to mix amongst themselves. All winery staff were very informative on their product. We even had time for some sightseeing and an ice cream stop to purchase a cone for the trip home. Highly recommend

Well worth it We had a fun day. Met many lovely people on the trip. Barry our tour guide a fountain of knowledge and fun, he kept us entertained. Lunch was really good. The Vino bus team made it even better with their pick up and drop off service. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Great relaxing day with friends and wine. A terrific day that started with a hotel pickup in a comfortable tourer, met by our guide/driver, Kaz, who was very informative, friendly and welcoming. We visited several lovely wineries, sampled some excellent wines and had lunch. This was followed by some local sightseeing. The atmosphere was great, and friends were made. Highly recommended for those that enjoy an easy-going relaxing day.

What a Fantastical Experience!!! We had a fantastic time on this adventure! All the wineries that we went to were very nice and very informative. Our Lunch was the best meal I have had on this business trip. We are so glad there was enough room for us. Our drivers were very knowledgeable and provided much entertainment. (Even though the jokes didn't get any better throughout the day! ) :)

Vino Wine Tour excelllence ! Group of 10 friends on the full day private winery tour was a fun filled wonderful experience. From the minute we were picked up by our lovely tour guide Kaz , we were made to feel special. Our music playlist happily connected via van Bluetooth and we were away! The air conditioned van was very comfortable and the 4 wineries we visited were welcoming . Lunch at The Hampton’s winery was delicious and a tasty dessert plate as well . Our last tasting was at the distillery, had many liqueurs to taste and had us in the “sing a long” mood for the trip down the mountain. Totally worth the asking price . Thanks Vino Bus !

Hands down the best experience ever! If you’re thinking of taking a wine tour, STOP, book the vino bus. I booked for a friends bachelorette and the lengths the whole team (reservation, vineyard, and tour) went to, to make the day extra special was amazing. It was the little personal touches that exceeded our expectations; offering us blankets, bringing extra snacks, helping the brides mother find a location her deceased father visited in the early 2000s to recreate a photo- this one made made me a little misty eyed. All of the girls loved the tour but ADORED Judi and Jenny for their attention to detail, caring and sassy personalities. We’ve all agreed to make it an annual event!!!

This was my second wine tour with The Vino Bus Tour & my husbands first. Such a great tour, the variety of the different wines & liquors to sample were delicious. Cheese & wafer crackers were offered at one Winery. Lunch was absolutely delicious, with 5 or 6 meals to choose from plus dessert. At CEDAR CREEK ESTATE we bought some wines & liquors & at TAMBORINE MOUNTAIN DISTILLERY some yummy liquors. Gary our driver was very knowledgeable in explaining how different wi Es are made. He was also a very safe driver. We will definitely take this tour again.
