She makes you feel that you're with a friend travelling and enjoying a wonderfull time. Not just knows A LOT about history and nature but also about current events and she shared them with you in the most kind, lovingly, and friendly way possible.
TOTALLY RECOMMENDED 😊
The Mackay Adventure Lodge was great - everything was so modern and clean - it was so much nicer than any of the hostels I’ve stayed in travelling the east coast and really had a luxury feel.
On the first day we did wakeboarding which was so much fun - our instructor was so encouraging and I was impressed with how much progress we all made in such a short space of time!
Following this I went on both the platypus / waterfall tour and the sunrise with wallabies tour. Both were brilliant and our tour guide Michelle was super passionate, knowledgable and friendly - she really made the experience for us! I’d highly recommend both of these activities to anyone stopping in Mackay!

Michelle, our guide was friendly, happy and shared lots of relatuve information.
We had such a great day .with the day ending with sightings and photos of our national monotreme the platapus! Soooo cute!
Thanks again was a special experience!
M and R Borg

I highly recommend going on a tour with this mob, you won't be disappointed.
Thanks Michelle.

Small hike to Lookout Twin Beach (beautiful )
Small (nice) Breakfast close to the Beach
Stopp at the Diversity Walk with explanation.
We enjoyed our day and can recommend this tour!
Our guide Michelle did an very good job!

The views, walks and experience is worth waking up in the Maclay region

We were blessed with 'Em', the matriarch of the mob, who came out to visit with us. A couple of the wallabies had some of their differences to sort out and moved away from the crowd to have a little tussle :). And for the bush turkeys, they were in the photo bombing at every opportunity.
After our informative talk from Range Murray, we did a short walk up to the lookout for some stunning views out to Wedge Island. As it was an extremely low tide, the track out to the island was clearly visible.
What followed was a lovely breakfast with some treats. We were graced with a curlew and kookaburra. Then it was off to the bio-diversity walk something you need to do to learn about the plants, animals, and cultural history of this beautiful part of the world.
Many thanks to Michelle, our trusty bus driver, who added so much more to our morning than just her smooth driving

The waterfall is hands down my favourite place in Mackay. The bus was great fun as we watched it drive through water. The pies were incredible too!
Recommend this tour so highly!! Led by such lovely people which really made the day and Handled so professionally.
The driving was great as was the company.

Would highly recommend this to anyone and is great for any tourist to the area who doesn’t have a rental car to get out to the park themselves. Booking online via their website is easy and hassle-free as well!

The sunrise with the kangaroos, as well as the small walks to the viewpoint and over the diversity Broadwalk.
The tour also took place even though only 2 people joined in.
Our guide Michelle made it very special! She is so friendly and has a lot of exciting things to tell! She also puts a lot of effort into taking beautiful photos of you.????
Without a car it is difficult to get to these places, so thank you for the opportunity and this wonderful experience!????

Eungella National park / Finch Hatton is gorgeous. And I also liked the organization of the tour, the Melba house/coffee shop followed by the walk through the forest to this beautiful waterfall and then ending with lunch.
In conclusion, it’s really worth it. Visit friendly and especially happy because maintained while I was the only guest.
Thanks you and see you !

Michelle picked me up right on time at 4am and was great company and didn’t take away from me being the only person booked onto the tour this morning!
We met up with Murray who gave a short talk on the beach about the kangaroos and wallaby’s behind us and answered all my questions. I took many many photos and Michelle offered to take some of me with the Wallaby’s which was great! Even after the sunrise there’s a stunning reflection off the water surface when the tide goes out
We took a short walk up to a hilltop viewpoint and then had some breakfast by the campsite. After this we went on a boardwalk through the forest a bit further down and talked about the local flora and fauna which was really interesting!

Michelle was extremely kind and made sure we had a blast. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in living an incredible experience.

The only caution I would offer is, make sure you are reasonably fit for the trek.

Michelle, our tour guide was super lovely and kind, very knowledgeable on the area, and easy to chat to. We went for 2 extra hikes after the sunrise which were definitely worth it, highly reccomend.

Thanks for the experience!!

Michelle our guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. Extremely good value for money.

Thankyou so much again Michelle.
