Itinerary
– Begin with a Traditional Smoking and Grounding Ceremony to prepare for your respectful walk on Country.
– Visit Fourmile Beach to learn about saltwater life, tides and Dreamtime creation stories.
– Continue to Cape Kimberley and Cape Tribulation where rainforest meets reef in a world-heritage landscape.
– Journey along the Daintree River region to identify bush tuka and medijin plants.
– Discover traditional stone axe, tool and weapon making grounds in Whyanbeel Valley.
– See ancient fish traps at Rocky Point, illustrating sustainable practices.
– Explore Mossman Gorge’s rainforest, sacred sites and cultural history.
– Return to Cairns at day’s end.
