This immersive journey blends ceremony, truth‑telling, traditional practices and iconic landscapes across Cooya Beach, Mossman Gorge, Whyanbeel Valley, Rocky Point, the Daintree River, Cape Kimberley and Cape Tribulation.

Your day begins with a Traditional Smoking and Grounding Ceremony, preparing you to walk respectfully on Country. At Kuyu Kuyu (Cooya Beach), learn how the saltwater people live with the tides, seasons and marine life, and hear Dreamtime creation stories that explain the origins of land, sea and sky.

Travel next to Mossman Gorge, where crystal waters and ancient rainforest create a place of deep cultural significance. Here, you’ll learn about sacred sites, cultural responsibilities, and the impacts of post‑colonisation history, gaining a deeper understanding of resilience and the ongoing strength of Kuku Yalanji people.

Continue into Whyanbeel Valley, home to traditional stone axe, tool and weapon making grounds. Discover how materials from Country were shaped for hunting, ceremony and daily life, and how these practices connect families across generations.

At Rocky Point, explore ancient fish traps engineered from stone and tidal knowledge passed down for thousands of years. These structures reveal sophisticated environmental understanding and sustainable harvesting techniques that continue to inspire today.

YINDILLI TOURING – TERMS & CONDITIONS 1. General These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with Yindilli Touring, an Indigenous‑owned tourism operator delivering cultural experiences on Kuku Yalanji Country. By booking a tour, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. 2. Booking & Payment Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed. Prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST. Yindilli Touring reserves the right to change prices at any time; however, confirmed bookings will not be affected. 3. Confirmation A booking confirmation will be sent via email once payment is received. Guests are responsible for checking all details in the confirmation and notifying Yindilli Touring of any errors. 4. Cancellation Policy Guest Cancellations More than 48 hours before tour: Full refund. 24–48 hours before tour: 50% refund. Less than 24 hours before tour or no‑show: No refund. Operator Cancellations Yindilli Touring may cancel a tour due to: Unsafe weather or environmental conditions Cultural obligations Minimum numbers not met Safety concerns or operational issues If Yindilli Touring cancels your tour, you will receive: A full refund, or The option to reschedule to another available date Yindilli Touring is not responsible for additional costs such as accommodation, transport, or third‑party bookings. 5. Minimum Numbers Tours require a minimum of 4 guests to operate. If minimum numbers are not met, Yindilli Touring may offer: A rescheduled date A private tour rate A full refund 6. Fitness & Participation Requirements Guests must have a moderate level of mobility suitable for walking on uneven terrain. Guests must disclose any medical conditions that may affect participation. Yindilli Touring reserves the right to refuse participation if a guest’s condition poses a safety risk. 7. Safety Guests must follow all instructions from guides at all times. Yindilli Touring operates in natural environments that may include uneven ground, insects, wildlife, rivers, and changing weather. Swimming is only permitted when the guide deems conditions safe. Yindilli Touring accepts no liability for injuries resulting from failure to follow instructions or unsafe behaviour. 8. Cultural Respect Yindilli Tours operates on Kuku Yalanji Country. Guests must respect cultural protocols, sacred places, and guidance from Traditional Owners. Photography may be restricted at certain cultural sites. Sharing or recording cultural knowledge without permission is prohibited. 9. Children Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Yindilli Tours may restrict participation for very young children depending on terrain and safety conditions. 10. Liability Yindilli Touring is not liable for loss, damage, injury, delay, or additional expenses caused by: Weather Natural events Wildlife Road conditions Illness Third‑party operators Failure to follow guide instructions Guests participate at their own risk. Yindilli Touring’s liability is limited to the value of the tour purchased. 11. Personal Property Guests are responsible for their own belongings. Yindilli Touring accepts no liability for lost, stolen, or damaged items. 12. Transport Pickup and drop‑off locations are provided at the time of booking. Guests must be ready at the designated time. Delays caused by guests may shorten the tour duration. 13. Weather & Environmental Conditions Tours operate in rainforest and river environments where conditions can change rapidly. Yindilli Touring may alter itineraries for safety reasons. No refunds are provided for itinerary changes due to weather. 14. Changes to Itinerary Yindilli Touring may adjust the itinerary based on cultural obligations, seasonal conditions, or safety requirements. These changes do not constitute grounds for refunds. 15. Photography & Media Guests may take photos unless advised otherwise by the guide. Commercial photography requires written permission. Yindilli Touring may take photos during tours for promotional use unless guests request otherwise. 16. Privacy Guest information is used solely for booking, safety, and communication purposes. Personal information will not be shared with third parties except where required by law. 17. Governing Law These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be handled under Queensland jurisdiction.
