Your Action-Packed Day
Morning: Spectacular Abseiling Adventure
We start the day with our Spectacular Half-Day Abseiling adventure. Beginning on an introductory 5-metre descent, you will quickly progress to more challenging 15 and 30-metre high cliffs. Feel the rush of adrenaline as you step over the edge! ✨
Afternoon: Rock Climbing Masterclass
After a delicious, freshly prepared lunch, we kick off the afternoon with a hands-on lesson in rock climbing technique. Under the guidance of our expert instructors, you will put your new skills to the test on several classic single-pitch climbs.
What is Included?
- Professional Instruction: Fully qualified guides with a passion for the outdoors.
- Top-Tier Gear: All technical equipment, including abseil gear, climbing shoes, and helmets fitted with GoPro mounts. ⁉
- Delicious Lunch: A freshly prepared picnic lunch (with vegetarian options available).
- Group Camera: We supply a waterproof camera for the group to capture your best moments.
Key Information for Your Adventure
- Meeting Point: Our office is located inside the Blue Mountains YHA (207 Katoomba Street, Katoomba), just a short 5-minute walk from Katoomba Train Station. Free all-day parking is available.
- What to Bring: Dress for the weather, wear running or hiking shoes, and bring water and a camera.
- Luggage Storage: Safe, secure left-luggage facilities are available at our office.
- Age & Fitness: Suitable for ages 6 to 86 with average fitness.
- Weather: We run in light rain, though rock climbing requires fine weather.
- Accommodation: Stay right at our doorstep! Accommodation packages are available at the Blue Mountains YHA.
You will need to meet at our office: 207 Katoomba Street (inside the Blue Mountains YHA), Katoomba 2780. If you have not already done so, please let us know your climbing experience and ability so we can tailor the day to your level. Please note that if you are late we may need to leave without you.
Due to the small groups and the specialised nature of what we do we require minimum 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your booking. All cancellations incur a $45 fee per person. If you cancel or reschedule within 48hrs of trip departure a full cancellation fee applies. Group bookings (3 or more people) require 14 days notice or a full cancellation fee applies.
