Hi Anil, We are sorry to hear you had a bad experience. It is surprising to read as our staff reported that you had an amazing day and also we met and spoke on your route and you provided extremely positive feedback to us at the time and we note your family seemed very happy on their journey with us even on disembarking thanking our driver for ‘an amazing day’ advising it was thoroughly enjoyed. We understand you felt more attention was needed during your initial enquires. We also note when you called us reasonably close to the October long weekend that we were already fully booked. You called us repeatedly after we advised we were fully booked and you were quite adamant that we needed to make room for you due to you wanting to surprise your family. Due to your persistence and us feeling sorry for you having left your booking so late we moved our schedule around to accomodate for you and your family. We went to great lengths to provide this availability for you. We also advised that our itinerary is not sent until closer to your tour date as we need to account for weather changes, route changes , ever changing and updated Covid Restrictions etc. as the safety and comfort of our guests is paramount. We note that you did complain about wanting this confirmation immediately instead. During the booking process you also sent some very strongly worded texts, emails and threats which resulted in Managment having to kindly ask that you refrain from such behaviour. Whilst we do everything we can to make sure our customers have an incredible day, there are some steps we cannot rush as we have a duty of care for our customers and our staff. We are surprised to read your review, having spoken to you on the day both you and your family noted what an amazing day you had. Due to this we feel your review was based on your interpretation of your booking experience. We turned away several bookings in order to accomodate this last minute booking for you during one of the busiest weekends in the Hunter Valley so we really thought we had done a great deal to make you happy. We also provided a substantial discount, almost at cost as you did not want to pay full price. Your review was very surprising and disappointing to staff who felt on the day you were in fact quite happy and enjoyed our service quite a bit. Even though we feel that we really did a great job we want all our customers to be completely satisfied. We are saddened at the comments we’ve found and this is not how we want our customers to experience our service. We receive positive feedback on a consistent basis from very happy and satisfied customers. We were so excited to hear you guys were coming back... Wow 19 years ago - what a lifetime that has been! Thanks so much for allowing us to share in your visit again - we're up to 23 years now and to be honest this is exactly why we do it! Although perhaps not as 'spritely' as he once was, Frank's passion for the horses is still as strong as it was all those years ago!
