Cable Beach is vehicle friendly however few people drive on the beach in the mornings. Experience the natural beauty of Cable Beach, breathe in the morning air, and enjoy the relaxing experience as you ride your friendly camel along the shore of the Indian Ocean.

Important Information
- Please note all passengers are responsible to declare accurate individual body weights at the time of booking. Passengers will be weighed upon check in for camel tour to verify the provided weights and if weight is over what was declared, you will be unable to ride and no refund will be given. We are not able to accommodate last minute weight increases.
- Red Sun Camels operate a 90kg maximum weight limit per person / per seat.
- In addition to the individual weight limit we operate a maximum weight limit of 170kg per camel / two seats.
- Any couples that exceed a combined weight limit of 170kg (individually no more than 90kg), will each be required to ride on their own camel and an additional charge will apply. Please select the “Couple 170-180kg combined weight (individual max 90kg)” option.
- No adult and lapsitter’s (child aged 0-4 years sitting on parents lap) combined weight to exceed 90kg.
- Any two adults and lapsitter(s) (child aged 0-4 years sitting on parents lap) that exceed a combined weight limit of 170kg, will each be required to ride on their own camel and an additional charge will apply. Please select the “Couple 170-180kg combined weight (individual max 90kg)” option.
- Our child age is 5-15years, and not exceeding 60kg.
- Our lap sitter age is 0-4 years old, sitting on parent’s lap (sharing seat).
- Please ensure you choose the seats in the correct weight category, failure to select the correct seats will result in your booking being cancelled. If you are unsure about what seats to select please contact us on 08 9193 7423.

Directions: We meet north of the rocks on Cable Beach. Please follow signs to Cable Beach until you find yourselves at the Life Saving Club carpark. From here you need to walk down onto the beach and turn right (north) and walk up the beach to the rocky outcrop. Head through the rocks in front of you and the camels will be just behind. We are the first camel train you come to through the rocks, with the red blankets on.
IMPORTANT: Please allow a 10-15 minute walk from the Life Saving Club carpark and you will need to meet the camels 10 minutes prior to the tour time.
What to wear: Loose comfortable clothing, footwear is optional. Hat, sunglasses and sunscreen may be required.
What to bring: Camera (our staff will happily take photos for you), water, money and a sense of humour!
