Guides with knowledge A thoroughly enjoyable day on the Great Ocean Road. From start to finish the trip was fantastic and made more enjoyable by Kevin (our guide) who was not only a fount of all knowledge as we navigated the roads but a fun traveling companion. We hit lucky coming across a mob of kangaroos (thanks to Kev’s persistence) which was the icing on the cake.

We went to the beach and the guide told us all about the history of the place It was a very smooth trip, we stopped in the nicest spots. Very fun! I would absolutely recommend this. We saw kangaroos in the wild as well as koalas.

Best Customer service ever Arranged at short notice for 6 of us traveling to see Lions rugby. Recommended by Pan Pacific hotel concierge we arranged a winery tour with no hassle. We had a great vehicle pick us up at hotel, visited 3 wineries and had lunch at third which was excellent. Our driver, Michael, was brilliant-knowledgeable and even found wild kangaroos to see at end of tour. Somewhere along the route I lost my British and Irish Lions cap. After we left Melbourne for Sydney MTC contacted me asking if the cap they had found was mine-it was! They then posted it on to me in Sydney. Customer service beyond the call!

Melbourne Touring Company did an amazing job for the ALARA 50th Anniversary event in Melbourne. Wes and Neil did an excellent job looking after us all and getting us to the venues and return on time. They were great at considering the abilities of our group (both young kids and older participants) and were really responsive during the booking process and on the day itself. We were able to book two different size buses to suit the different number of people attending on the different days. Excellent Tour: Highly Recommend My family of four booked two tours through MTC Tours. John was super helpful with all of the back-and-forth emails I had (and there were many!) He was patient and answered very promptly. We decided to book two days of private tours and had wo separate drivers, Michael and Wes. The first tour took us to an incredible beach, Maru Koala and Animal Park, and the Penguin Parade. Michael was very flexible and provided a great day for us. Our tour included a chocolate tour factory visit but we wanted to spend more time at an incredible beach so he was happy to make the adjustment and made sure to keep us on track for the Penguin Parade time. The next day, Wes picked us promptly and he explained we would do the reverse Ocean Tour to beat the traffic and have an overall better experience. He was correct! The day was awesome. We had two requests if possible; to see a koala and a kangaroo in the wild and Wes delivered! We knew it would be a long shot because of well nature. But Wes put us in the best places to see both and we got lucky. Both Michael and Wes were not only excellent and safe drivers, but they are all around delightful people who my whole family enjoyed being with, which is important because they were both very long days. I've traveled around dthe world with many tours and recommend MTC Tours 100% with no reservations.

John was punctual, responsive and accommodating to our last minute changes. The great thing about private tours is that you get picked up from your address and don’t have to worry about driving on long, winding and narrow roads. John is a great guy and he taught my kids how to fish.

I wasn’t sure whether to join a group tour, or to pay more money for the privacy of a private tour. I am so glad that I chose to join this company’s tour. It was an unforgettable day, an experience that I will never forget. I went with John, and he arranged everything down to the last detail. We knew that we were in safe hands. He obviously has a lot of experience in this industry. The vehicle was clean and comfortable. We were able to stretch out and relax, because it is a very long day to drive to the famous great oceanic road and the 12 apostles. We were able to stop and get out of the vehicle in many locations where there were no other tourists. I really enjoyed that. His commentary was informative. I was able to ask him a lot of questions, and I learned a lot about Australia and the way of life. He took many photos, and I will be looking at them for many years to come. Highly recommended. Great tour. Great guide. Lots of great information. We chose the private tour with Melbourne touring company because it had great reviews and we wanted the flexibility to spend more or less time at each spot. We chose reverse itinerary with a 7am start to avoid the crowds and it worked out perfectly. Our driver, Wes, was a wealth of information, made great suggestions, and remained flexible to our wishes. We stopped to see koalas on the side of the road, drove through the golf course to see kangaroos, and spent time at each sight without feeling rushed. Wes even gave us great suggestions for our visit to Sydney where we headed next. It was the perfect tour and the perfect day!

Unforgettable Great Ocean Road Tour This was really unforgettable tour! We went for Great Ocean Road Tour for 2 days with kids and all of us was very very happy with it. Pete showed us many interesting and sometimes secret places. We visited 12 Apostels, London Bridge, Rainforest and many others beautiful places. Pete made very good photos for us and told us a lot of interesting stories about these places. Memorable Golden ocean road Trip We had an unforgettable day trip to Great ocean with Peter Luehman engraved in our love for Melbourne, who went beyond his duties and made our trip very memorable. Degustation lunch at The Cupps Estate Winery - Mornington Peninsula The most beautiful day! We celebrated a very special birthday with a degustation lunch at The Cupps Estate on the Mornington Peninsula, and John made the whole day so easy and seamless that all we had to concentrate on was enjoying the many great plates and local wine overlooking the most stunning views with our favourite company. The service from the start or our journey to the staff at the estate and back again was 10/10. They were so friendly and accommodating. The perfect day to celebrate. Couldn’t have asked for a better day. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing Experience with Melbourne Touring Company We chanced upon this tour when reading through another review. We did not regret a single moment in this trip. From the time we were picked up till the time we were dropped back at the hotel, this entire trip felt like an Australian road trip with stops at scenic places along the Great Ocean Road and viewing wildlife such as koalas and kangaroos in their natural habitat. Most of all, our tour guide, Wes Albert was really one of the best guides we have had in our trip. He suggested to take the opposite route where we headed straight to the Twelve Apostles and then moved down the road and then back to Melbourne. This helped us to beat the crowds from larger tours and enabled us to have more time at scenic places for photography. Wes also provided so much information about the Great Ocean Road, and we also enjoyed conversing generally about Australia with him! We definitely learned a lot more through this trip and would recommend to others, especially those who prefer to customise their trip and to have more private time, while being guided. The vehicle provided was also very clean and tidy, and they provided us with water, wet wipes and ensured that we had ample toilet breaks throughout the journey. Wes also went the extra mile to take good photos for us and they turned out really well! Please consider this company for your trips as well!

Great Ocean dr tour The Great Ocean driver reverse tour and the guide Wes were amazing. I wanted to customise the tour as per my preference. John and Wes were good to suggest private tour and the reverse travel option worked so well that we got ample of time at 12 apostles with less tourists. Beautiful drive — no where like it! Terrific drive — don’t miss it. Even with a little bit of rain, it was a stellar day-out. We took the shorter route - 9 hours instead of twelve, and it was just right. Stopped first at the Twelve Apostles, before the crowds got there — in fact, we were ahead of the crowds all day, which made it much more enjoyable. Don’t miss it!

Grampians One Day Trip The trip to the Grampians Day Trip were excellent. The service is really nice and the bus driver even told us about the history of Melbourne which for me as an international student really appreciates the effort. Overall very satisfied.

Exceptional Day Trip to Grampians National Park Organising our university day trip with John was very smooth. Communication via email and phone calls was efficient, he arrived early on campus, ready for departure, and he even made accommodations for us with requested stops. The Grampians National Park blew us away (literally!) Despite the rain, we embraced the adventure of a lifetime, thanks to John and Melbourne Touring Company. University day trip We had a great time, we took tons of photos and we even got to visit McKenzie Falls aswell, on the way back we even saw some deer and kangaroos.

Torrens University Australia Grampians Hiking Day Trip Even though is rained when hiking the Grampians, the energy from the team was good:) and the driver of the tour was really nice friendly and polite, so it didn't matter what the weather was like, the University Team knew we'd have fun. And I liked the music in the bus, it took me back a couple of decades to all my favourites! And we took too many pictures and now we have a lot of memories hahaha

ROTARIANS HAVING FUN I organised a 4 day itinerary for 19 friends prior to attending the 2023 Rotary International Convention. John was so easy to work with, suggesting the itinerary and lots of flexibility. We did a bit of everything from wineries and a delicious degustation lunch at The Cups Estate. We enjoyed the afternoon floating in the Peninsula Hot Springs. The next day, we made our way down to Phillip Island via the Millionaire's walk at Sorrento, and fish and chips at San Remo. On the island, we enjoyed Nobbys head, Panny's chocolate and of course, the amazing penguin parade. The third day, we explored Walhalla gold mining town, with a local historian, and the long tunnel with a different tour guide. The fourth day, we checked out the beautiful Dandenongs, starting with a Puffing Billy ride. Back into Melbourne on Thursday afternoon.

The journey were pleasant and accommodative by Neil, food at the Boat O Craigo vineyard was superb at the Yarra and we even had the Wave Restaurant opened on their day off at Port Campbell during our Great Ocean Road trip arranged by John.
Overall, if we were to be doing this again, i will book MTC.

Late summer in the Grampians Craig, our driver & guide, was very interesting and informative. Beautiful scenery with a mix of trees,geology & wildlife. Mackenzie falls had plenty of water flowing through it, which put a ‘cherry’ on a great day.

Mornington Peninsula Day Trip - John and Lawrence were fantastic. We were a trip organized by UniLodge, going down to the Mornington Peninsula for the day. John and Lawrence took us to the Rocky Creek Berry farm for a pick-your-own-punnet, to the Arthurs Seat Lookout for a roundtrip on the cable-car, down along the Millionaire's walk for stunning bayside views (from Sorrento to the east all the way to the Bellarine Peninsula on the other side), then we had lunch together at the Point Nepean Historical Quarantine Facility before capping off the trip with a walk to the backbridges and London Bridge rock formation.

John and Lawrence were patient, informative, and very accommodating, and I was especially fond of the stories they told as well. I'll be keen on a trip with this company again in the future. :)

Yarra Valley Winery Tour was the best with MTC!! We organised a Corporate Winery Tour with MTC for roughly 30 people to celebrate our company's quarterly results. The entire event went so smoothly and John was so accommodating and flexible with our requests - making sure everyone, including those who didn’t drink, had a fabulous time.

John picked us up right on time at our office and provided a comfy bus to take us to/from Yarra Valley. On the way he shared some interesting stories about the region that made the 1 hour ride to the winery fly. John's recommendation to visit Boat O Carigo is 100% spot on - beautiful views, yummy food and amazing wine! We then visited Yarra Valley Chocolate Factory for Chocolate tasting which was a brilliant way to end the day.

I recommend the Melbourne Touring Company for a wonderful experience at the Yarra Valley and will be booking again in the future for more fun team-bonding events!

Completed our Trip This service was amazing! There were 12 of us down at the Peninsula for my brothers bucks party over a weekend, and the Saturday was entirely spent with the driver John who took great care of us.
