Our Tour to the Gap and Natural Wonders in Albany WA was on of the best tours we have done. The content was excellent. The scenic photo opportunities were truly amazing. The tour guide was very friendly & informative. The transport was good. We really enjoyed it and we fully recommend it.

The Granite Skywalk Porongurups offered by Albany Tours was superb. Our guide, Susan, was sensational! She was very professional, highly knowledgeable and entertaining. My twin sister and I turn 70 in a few days. Without Susan's patience, expert guidance and continual consideration for our safety this wonderful experience would not have been possible. Beautiful bushwalk with gorgeous native flora, on our steady ascent to the stunning granite rocks and exceptionally well-constructed viewing platform/skywalk. A lovely unch was included in the tour. We thoroughly enjoyed a delicious wine tasting and hearty, scrumptious platters of local produce, hosted by Jemima at Ironwood Estate. I had a wonderful experience with Susan, who brought me to Granite Skywalk. From the start, she was warm, professional, and very attentive. At Granite Skywalk, the visit was smooth and enjoyable—Susan was a knowledgeable guide. During the journey from the pickup point to the National park, she gave insights on local history. During the tour, she share on flora and fauna of the park. The whole experience felt easy and stress-free because of her support. At the end of the tour we had a good bits at Ironwood. While having our quick bite, Susan ask about our temporary and gave suggestion which were not on goggle/chatgpt recommendations list. Her knowledge of the area is definitely helpful. I truly appreciate her excellent service and would highly recommend Susan to anyone looking for a reliable and knowledgeable guide.

Great wine tour We had a great day out to 4 very different and all fabulous wineries. Each with their own special story. Gilbert’s was a stand out, but loved them all.
Lunch was a delicious. Platter of local food.

Albany Historic Whaling Station tour Joy from Blue Tours picked five of us up from the Port where the "Queen Elizabeth" was docked. We set off in a small bus for the Historic Whaling Station - an 18Km drive. Along the way she gave us lots of information about the area we were driving through. The history of the Whaling Station and tour of the area was grose but very interesting. We also saw the amazing scrimshaw done by Rory Tonkin on a four metre sperm whale jaw bone - very impressive. Then a nice morning tea before being driven back to the main part of the city.
A very worthwhile tour!

Great way to see local highlights Wonderful day full of great views! Picked up directly from the cruise ship and stopped at several spots for photo opportunities. Went to Stoney Hill and climbed to the top of a massive rock for 360 degree views- rock was wet from an earlier rain so some visitors slipped and didn’t go up - we had on hiking shoes and Teva walking sandals so had no difficulty. We stopped at Fisherman Bay - another great photo and the opportunity to plunge your hand/foot into the ocean if you wanted to check out the temperature. The Gap was awesome and would love to see it on a stormy day! Also stopped at the Whaling Museum for a delicious tea & pastry (we didn’t go through the museum but you could see/photograph the historic whaling ship, check out the gift shop and our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the whaling industry)
Our last stop was the wind turbines- again we had a great guide who was able to share some great insights.
If you want to see a bit of the local area in a small group setting with great photo opportunities, this is a great choice- so much more enjoyable and cost saving compared to the similar cruise ship tour.

Tim was very knowledgeable and entertaining as he took us to various sites around the Albany area. His stories and the extraordinary scenery made it a memorable experience. My husband loved the scones!

A great hike with great company We took the opportunity of doing the castle rock hike in the porongorups while down in Albany in order to make sure that we rounded off our trip with a bit of stunning scenery and exercise and the trip did not disappoint. Tim (our guide) was congenial, knowledgeable and helpful in taking us to the base of the hike, shepherding us through the hike and of course, ensuring we got the obligatory "top-of-the-world" shots. The weather played along nicely, and that coupled with Tim's knowledge of the local area made the trip an excellent end to our down-south adventure. The subsequent Plowman's lunch at the winery was welcome and for once deserved.

Wonderful day experiencing the beauty of the Albany area! Our tour guide, Tim, did an amazing job describing the history and details of the area. Additionally, he took care of the elderly members of our tour ensuring that they could safely enjoy all of the tour. That attention to the guests speaks volumes about the character of the tour company. The beauty of the Albany area was on full display during the tour and we enjoyed our day.

Really enjoyed our Delicious Denmark day tour yesterday with Susan, in a very clean tidy bus, to a good range of places. So nice not to have to think or drive for the day. Good commentary, and helpful having Susan take our purchases back to the bus for safe (& cold) storage while we continued looking around places. Wonderful lunch platter that we shared with the other couple on the trip, but even 4 of us couldn't quite finish it all! Highly recommend (Just to add, I suspect not many people are putting reviews here on Google any more as the company collects its own quick review before you leave the bus).

A tasty day out A great introduction to Denmark and its delights. We enjoyed Joy’s commentary and local knowledge as we sat back and relaxed.

Fantastic tour Great day out. Our guide was Tim and he had lots of information. Scenery was gorgeous and we saw so much of the area. We even got a quick visit to the War Memorial as an extra surprise. Really enjoyed the beauty of The Gap and Natural Bridge. Beautiful part of the world.

Fantastic day tasting our way around the area Wineries, charcuterie, chocolates etc. were all delicious and unique to the area. Was a lovely break for me on a driving holiday to have someone else take the wheel. Susan was very knowledgeable about the area and super helpful in considering my husband's limited mobility and parked as close as possible to the best entry points, as well as assisting him on/off the very comfy passenger van. Our purchases were safely stored for us, including an Esky for our cheeses.

Great Tour Company My friend and I were treated with care and respect. Our tour guides, Tim and Michelle were very informative and helpful. They were pleasant and respectful. We felt safe as 2 women on holiday in a foreign city. The vehicles used were clean and reliable. The day was highlighted with great conversations and laughter. The 2 tours we did were the Granite skywalk and on a separate day, Tasting delicious Denmark. I cannot recommend Busy Blue Bus highly enough. Very good value for money and excellent customer service. Thank you for making our holiday very enjoyable.

Unbelievable experience!! There’s not more to say than this is an unbelievable experience!!

We were picked up and taken early and had a very enjoyable and knowledgable journey to the bay.

It started as a slightly grey and quiet day but that changed quickly. The sun came out and so did the whales.

They tour guides were amazing and knew all the whales names ages and spotted them really early (which i know is unpredictable) and followed them all day with multiple sighting of single males, groups and babies! (I’m not
good at catching them on camera though)

I would recommend this to anyone. Although if you are prone to sickness a warning to get tablets - we luckily were ok but it nearly was a very expensive sleep for my husband - and we were lucky it was a calmer day (which is still pretty choppy)

Then picked up and dropped home - thank you so much for a great experience

Tour was cancelled ONE HOUR before it was scheduled to start & they didn't let me know I’m really disappointed and quite unimpressed with how the cancellation of the tour was handled. The tour was cancelled ONE HOUR before it was scheduled to start because the minimum number of people was not met.

It seems I was called an hour before the tour was supposed to start, but no message was left, so I didn’t think it required an urgent callback when I missed it. Moreover, there was no follow-up email or text to inform me that the tour had been cancelled, so I went to the meeting place as expected and waited around 15 minutes before I realised that no guide was showing up.

I then received an email over an hour after the tour was scheduled to start saying that the tour had been cancelled and my ticket refunded [I've attached a screenshot].

Cancelling a tour ONE HOUR before it is scheduled to start and then not informing me is really appalling customer service.

My friend and I spent two days with Tim and Michelle as our tour guides in Albany. They were very informative, friendly and wonderful. We really enjoyed our tours with them and learnt a lot about Albany. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Albany❤️.

Booked and went on the ‘Gap and Natural Wonders Tour’ yesterday and both myself and my husband really enjoyed the experience. We were picked up at our Hotel by Susan in a very comfortable vehicle and she went above and beyond to ensure that we enjoyed our morning tour. She was very knowledgeable about all of the locations we visited and was only too happy to answer all of our questions. We also enjoyed a lovely complimentary Devonshire Tea at the Whaling Station Cafe. All in all a very enjoyable morning and would definitely recommend it to friends.

We did a whaling history tour which included the whaling station. Susan our tour giude was awesome. She was very informative and really new her stuff about local history, etc. Communications was great with a phone call while we were in Perth as we were on cruise ship, explaing where we would meet at the cruise terminal in Albany. My wife and I could not fault the experience, thank you very much Susan.

We had booked a tour with Albany Tours to visit some wineries in Mount Baker region. We were arriving via a cruise ship.

We were met at the port by a representative who directed us to a meeting point and that we would find Michele our guide.

We have done many tours around the world. This was by far the best tour ever. Michele was very informative and new a lot about the wineries were to visit. She had everything well organized. She kept us on schedule because we had to catch our ship.

If you are ever in Albany, I would highly recommend Albany Tours for a wine tour and request Michele as your guide and driver. Excellent tour.

Enlightening Experience We thoroughly enjoyed the two hour Albany City Tour with Susan. From the start we were so impressed with Susan’s knowledge and enthusiasm. Susan helped us engage with the history and modern day Art on the streets of Albany. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough .

Such a relaxing way to see ART I took this tour with my sister to see art of the Great Southern Art Trail. We both found it such a relaxing way to spend the day taking in art at a number of galleries and indulging in a splendid lunch at Ducketts Mill. The artists at each venue welcomed us on arrival and explained their processes and works to us and in a couple of places, took us out back to see their workshops. Our tour guide, Tim, was great and we enjoyed some interesting conversations with him along the way. I'm a local in the region, and while I could have driven my car to the venues, the special treatment the artists provided, together with the relaxation of being chauffeured around and not be concerned with directions or timing made this tour so worthwhile. I will definitely do this tour again.

Our Albany Highlights and History tour was an enjoyable few hours with guide Phillip. It was informative and he shared his local knowledge.

The Gap and Coastal Tour Tim picked us up promptly at our caravan park in an immaculately clean vehicle. He is an engaging person, full of knowledge about Albany and its surrounds - we could not have appreciated this itinerary if we’d tried to do it on our own. The coastal scenery is amazing, then being up close to the wind turbines, and finally the view of Albany from Mount Melville. Oh, and the scones and tea at the whale centre were great too. Highly recommend this tour, especially if Tim is leading it.

Albany WA and what it has to offer you Albany is a place I never thought we'd venture to given its distance from Perth but, you can now fly direct from Melbourne to Busselton with Jetstar and pick up your hire car at the airport which makes the distance much less daunting. The drive from the Margaret River is easy not much traffic and you travel through beautiful forests and farmland all the way. You will encounter some large and long trucks along the way but there is ample opportunity to pass them on the journey and there are enough petrol/food/restrooms to stop at. It took us approximately 4 hours from Dunsborough to get there and worth a mention is, make sure you have some of your own music to play on the journey as radio stations are few and far between and not very appealing with music choice.
You need to book your accommodation well in advance because Tourism has become a large contributor to the economy there. Having said all this is it worth it?? Absolutely yes on so many levels. It is quite a large town with a great history. The people are welcoming and the food is amazing. The scenery is excellent.. many beautiful beaches (Middleton Beach has so much to offer), great landscapes and an easy drive to The Gap and Natural Bridge.
We continued down to Esperance after 3 nights in the Albany area but, that's another story and must do for so many reasons.
South west Western Australia has so much to offer beyond the Margaret River region. Australia is so vast and remote areas may not be as appealing for very young families due to the tyranny of distance but for those of you that are willing, it's worth it and airlines are starting to pick up on this.

Beautiful Scenery - Must Do When in Albany I booked The Gap and Natural Wonders Tour tour with Busy Blue Bus rather than take the cruise ship excursion which was shorter and way more expensive. We were picked up at the cruise port and it turned out all the people on my tour were from my cruise ship. There were 10 people on my tour in a minibus. We had ample time at all of the attractions and our guide walked with us and gave explanations and answered any questions. Our guide loved Albany and gave a lot of information about the city too. We stopped for a delicious scone and hot chocolate at the Whaling Station. Torndirrup National Park is a must see when in Albany. We also visited The Albany Wind Farm.

Mt Barker - Wine Tasting Tour My Wife, Son and his Wife had wonderful wine tasting tour in the Mt Barker region of WA. We were picked up by Phillip our driver for the day at Mt Baker’s visitor centre. The vehicle was a large people carrier and it was very clean and comfortable. There was another couple on the tour who we quiet quickly made friends with. The tour took us to four local vineyards and we had a lovely lunch platter at one of them that was included in the price. We have never done a wine tasting tour before and we learnt a lot and had a great time. I highly recommend the Busy Blue Bus wine tou, it was a marvellous day out.

Safe trip from Albany to Bremer Bay Susan provided a safe early morning trip to Bremer Bay to meet the naturalistic Orca tour, then returned us back to Albany. A long drive but she managed it well.

Amazing Tour This tour was such a fun day. Susan was a great guide and had so much knowledge of the area. Ended up only being the 2 of us however we still got to go on the tour it wasn’t cancelled. We both had a blast and got so much goodies from each place we visited. Would highly recommend this tour with Busy Blue Bus Tours.

Private wine tour - Margaret River Our tour with Busy Blue Bus was a little different from the usual. As we were the only couple on the tour we had a private driver with the lovely Kathleen. We had a great day with a lot of local knowledge. We had a lovely lunch with wine mead and chocolates to finish the day. This was a great way to spend the day.

Breathe taking views, with some effort before hand The walk from car park to top is roughly 2.4 kms but at your own pace it is doable for most. The rock scrambles at the top require a little bit of coordination but I guarantee you the view is worth it! We got up there quite early so still had some cloud cover which was amazing, then the clouds started to break and the view became breathe taking. We even got to see some small icicles in the air floating about. Unforgettable .

So many natural wonders in one morning. What a cracker of a trip this was. Essentially a
half day trip that saw us visit a number of sights with the highlight being The Gap. Ducked into some little beaches, squeezed in a few leisurely little walks, took in some amazing views, even had time for morning tea. Packed in a whole lot in a short time but never felt rushed. Phillip was a wonderful guide too , friendly, caring and very knowledgeable.

The amazing Skywalk Our day started on time when we were greeted at our accommodation by a friendly, enthusiastic guide. We chatted intently on our way to pick up other guests and it became obvious that it was going to be an interesting and enjoyable day. Tim is a very knowledgeable person and a fantastic guide. The walk itself is fairly straightforward but Tim helped us negotiate some tricky rock hopping
right at the top. The skywalk is amazing and well worth the effort to make it up the hill.
Lunch at the winery afterwards was a nice touch and Tim took the time over lunch to show me other worthwhile walks in the area.

A killer day with the killer whales! Seeing the Killer Whales has been a bucket list item for me and my wife and choosing The Busy Blue Bus to get us to Bremer Bay was the smart option.
It was a memorable day, but also long and tiring so we were grateful that we could sit back and relax.
Susan was punctual and professional and drove in a safe manner. She is also very well organised, and displays a caring nature.
Susan took care of our booking for this and two other trips and the process was hassle free. We can’t thank Susan enough for helping us enjoy a day that we will long remember and
we have no hesitation in recommending The Busy Blue Bus to other visitors to Albany.

Winery tour Mt Barker We had an excellent day. Our driver and guide was very good at explaining the history and fortes of the different wineries. The owners of the wineries are very hard working and uet have all the time you want to discuss and appreciate the eines.

Disappointing Unfortunately the tour didn't go ahead as I was the only one booked, so a bit disappointing. However, I was advised of this the day before so I could make other arrangements.

Nature is amazing Was a very windy day and cold but nevertheless awesome. Easily accessible along a well constructed pathway. Nature creates miracles for us to view and enjoy

Amazing experience Fantastic day trip to Bremer Bay with Susan and Busy Blue Bus tours. We tried last year and as there were no Orca we received another trip for free. Susan offered the same deal and we were once again blown away by her service and standard of care

Nice company to deal with You can gauge an organization best when things goo wrong unexpectedly! We were booked on this tour and sadly my wife and I could not make it due to Covid.
Big Blue was fantastic to deal with through out the whole thing and refunded our funds. We plan to get back to Albany and we will definitely use their services.

Stunning Scenery This is a fantastic tour which enables you to view some breathtaking scenery. The tour leader is a local who gave a very informative commentary. You will come away with some stunning photos.

A very good wine experience It was close to christmas, so some of the normal chosen wineries were closed. But the prgoram they have chosen instead was very good. The blue bus was clean and tidy, we had lovely chats with the driver about..nearly everything. A goog choose!

No Information There was no microphone on the bus so those of us in the back could not hear a thing the guide was saying. Thus we missed a great deal of history of region and had a long and boring bus ride. It was very frustrating. The winery's we toured were wonderful and we got a really good sampling of the wines in the region.

Disappointed We booked our tour with Busy Blue Bus some two years ago and were due to take it three days ago.

Unfortunately, the wind was too strong for us to dock in Albany and our cruise ship captain had to cancel our visit.

Unlike the policy of the vast majority of tour operators Busy Blue Bus have refused to refund the AU$215 we had paid for the tour as we did not give 48 hours notice of cancellation. 48 hours before the weather changed and 48 hours before the captain had to make his decision.

Buyer beware!

Dream Trip with Wine Well planned, good knowledge excellant driving and very friendly atmosphere. Really enabled us to relax and take in the scenery.

Excellent Tour Had a lovely wine tour with a fabulous driver named Rosie. Rosie went out of her way to make sure we were looked after and enjoying ourselves! Was a perfect trip for a rainy day and truly enjoyed all the vineyards we visited. Would highly recommend!

Denmark Food tour and Gap and Naturaul wonders The gap and natural Wonders tour was visually a delight ! Tim was an excellent guide , very informative with all his knowledge of the area and history. The Denmark foodie tour was great although expensive. A shared platter for 6 at Duckets at Denmark was presented well but no tongs were provided so we each had to tuck in with our own knives and forks which i thought was unhigenic in these times. No drink was offered !

Wonderful day out Susan the tour guide was very informative and friendly. The skywalk tour was well worth the trek up and the views were magnificent. Take your time going up the mountain as when you get to the top it is worth it!

Just a mess. Trip was cancelled by the provider. No notification of this was received until with great difficulty and after repeated attempts trying to contact someone in order to sort out arrangements for pick-up. Just a mess. Not sure whether the blame lies with the provider or with Viator, but wasted a lot of time trying to sort it out. Really poor communication and I'm still waiting on a refund.
