Lovely people great wines and superb cheese board.Our favourite of the four wineries we visited while here from Ireland.

Brilliant wine and food. Was our first stop during Moving Feast and it set the bar extremely high. Ended up returning later in the day to grab a bottle.

A You gotta go here kinda place A quaint winery, very friendly and the staff was amazing from the minute we walked in. The wine tasting and then a cappuccino to tire for! A MUSt stop!!

On holidays from Sydney and have visited many wineries over the years but this one was special. Felicity made us and our dog so very welcome and the winery dogs were very friendly too. The wine tasting was perfect and suited us perfectly. Would highly recommend!

Highly recommend this winery! We loved all the wines we tried so much that ended up buying all of them! The winery is also dog friendly, you can sit with your pet on the outdoor gallery. The owners are very knowledgeable and friendly!

A wine & dog lovers dream! Had a wonderful tasting board with a lovely variety coupled with an informative and casual chat about the winery and its history. Enjoyed the puppies while we sat and sipped our wine. Although there wasn't a lunch service on the day we went, they were extra helpful getting us a reservation up the road. The wine at lunch was ok, but we ended up stopping back to buy a few more bottles and enjoy hearing more about all things wine and dogs! Such a lovely bunch doing some great things with wine and stole our hearts hearing about all the great charitable efforts they are involved in. Highly recommended!!

Always love to stop by this winery as the wine never disappoints. Love the blackberry rich cab-sav as well as their refreshing citrusy rieslings. The winery dogs are definitely a cute add on to the experience!

Definetely love wines I had tasting here. They have a wide range of tastes of wines, which is a worth to try the full tasting. Highly recommended. If you’re planning to visit here at busy time, the serve of wine would be a bit late, but it is absolutely okay to wait for it savoring the taste and having a cheese plater with wine. I could also find my fav wines from here.

What a delight My friends and I went on a girls day out for cheese and wine in the Murrumbateman area. After a horrible start at a previous winery, we were feeling awful. Driving past Murrumbateman winery we decided to turn in and it was the best idea we had.

We are greeted with friendly, cheerful staff. We sat outside to enjoy the view of the vinyard. Our taster was knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about the region and the winery. They assist the RSPCA by donating a portion of your purchases to them.

There was no rush to get us a tasting or for us to leave. Their cheeseboard is a must, expecially with the honey. It was the perfect experience.

Loved the atmosphere of the building. Thoroughly enjoyed the wine tasting presented by Kay. Learnt so much about the process and the wine. Would love to come back in the winter and sit by the fire enjoying a wine. Absolutely loved the puns on the tshirts. I left with both wine and clothing.
Highly recommend spending a couple of hours here enjoying the scenery, atmosphere and the local produce.

Great for a new experience. Very helpful staff Mollie is a gorgeous dog. We were fortunate enough for Mollie to say hi when we had our Mystery picnic at Murrumbateman Winery on Friday.

On a side note we really enjoyed our tasting (even tho i am not a big fan of wines). Big thank you to the young gentleman (sorry i forgot his name!) who was a wonderful host, very patient and informative when we were asking lots of questions about processes etc. Really made the end of the day wonderful - so Thank you.

Excellent Winery Visit We were treated like friends, and our server was very helpful in answering our questions about the wines, offering suggestions, that were helpful, while not pushing for a sale.

Popped in on a rainy, cold Wednesday. Greeted so warmly!
Wondered if we could get scones and coffee. Scones are usually on a weekend but we were obliged with warm fluffy scones and superb coffee.

It is not the poshest winery, but the hospitality is second to none. The winemaker likes to experiment and it leads to some interesting outcome. They also support the ACT RSPCA, with two friendly canine residents Betty and Mollie who love to greet you.

Dog Owners: Watch out for Tanin the dog! We were so looking forward to taking our dog to a "dog friendly" winery at Murrumbateman Winery. We met their resident dogs Mollie and Tanin.
Mollie was a beautiful old dog and was friendly with our very friendly little dog but their other dog Tanin was NOT friendly. Tanin bit our little dog on the head and our poor dog was so shaken. We were very upset and we should of left but we stupidly stayed.

Surprisingly the winery is quite run down and the outdoor area is not appealing. The tasting plate was not value for money, not much decent bread and little meat and cheese on the plate and some other bits. Staff are friendly but the winery was really not that appealing.

After the incident with our little dog who did not provoke Tanin at all and was attacked we will not recommend taking your little dogs there and we will not return. You would think if they are going to have dogs at their winery that they would be friendly, if not don't let other dogs visit the winery. Very disappointed with our day out here.

A super friendly staff and they explain each and every wine in so much detail.

Their service and hospitality is much applauded.

Delicious wines, lovely humans and Mollie! We really enjoyed our visit to the winery sampling a new tasting list. We walked away with many delicious wines to share with family on Christmas Day. The Malbec and Sangiovese were the winners. The set up was a little tired but the staff were so welcoming and passionate.

Unique experience in the area, different and adaptable wine maker This one is a little unique in the area. The venue itself looks a little tired but you are here for the wines and to learn about the process. The process here is different in that many of the wines come from grapes of other local producing who, for one reason or another, are unable to use them. To me, this means the winemaker is adaptable each and every year to make the most of what is available. It leads to wines that are a bit more individual.

Maybe the wines are not quite to the level of some of the larger and more famous neighbours but that does not mean there is not some quality wines to be had.

The winery is also a huge supporter of the RSPCA and loves dogs with some vintages directly supporting the RSPCA. You will also be loved to death by the owner's dog.

I'd recommend this winery as it is a little different to so many others in the area.

It's a pity some of the older vintages were not available but that seemed to be an availability issue as many had nearly sold out and therefore not available for tasting. There is also a small tasting fee of $5 per person at this winery. I think you get that back on purchase.
