They were absolutely beyond amazing to deal with from start to finish of the e-bike rental, & that's aside from the fantastic experience of the e-bike itself! These guys genuinely go above and beyond to ensure the absolute best experience is had, which is reflected in everything from their very friendly and extremely efficient service, down to the actual products themselves. My 4 year old son and I had an absolute blast riding the DiroDi e-bike! It was our first time but will most definitely be returning! I rented an e-bike for 4 hours and honestly had such a great experience. The bike was comfortable, easy to use, and handled really well the entire time. It was the perfect way to get around and see more without feeling rushed. Everything was in great condition, and the whole process was simple from start to finish. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and convenient way to explore — I’ll be doing it again for sure!

Had the best day today with our family(4 adults and a 14 month year old baby). The bikes were super comfortable and the baby seat was perfect for him. A whole day of fun was had up and down the coast and covered numerous kilometres in a short period. We are over on holiday from England and very impressed with the service provided. We picked up the bikes, and after a very warm welcome and briefing from Odette, we headed north. Stopping off at the Dendy beach boxes for a coffee and the mandatory photo taken in front of the Oz flag beach box, we continued on through to Middle Brighton, Elwood and finally St Kilda, where the Latin-American food festival was in full swing. There’s always so much interesting stuff going on in St Kilda.

We had arranged the day to give our overseas visitor a sample of the local area. But it was an eye opener even for us locals. So much we hadn’t seen before. Right on our doorstep.

Can’t recommend Bay Bikes highly enough. Great service, and the bikes were a dream. Helmets so comfortable and clean, bikes spotless and so easy to use, and everything so stylishly put together. We won’t be waiting for another visitor to give us the excuse to go back.

A dream tour I highly recommend that company we hire two bicycle and I’ve made a fantastic two nearby. The bay bicycle are working so well the welcoming from Odette was very good and I really recommend you to try this experience. If you are visiting Melbourne I recommend to go straight to the city by Beach Road because some past nearby the beach Are absolutely astonishing. You can go from SANDRINGHAM to Saint Kilda and we’ll have the most beautiful view on the city.

Me and my two adult kids have just had the best afternoon today thanks to Bay Bikes! The bikes themselves are amazing! Very trendy looking but most importantly super comfortable and dead easy to use! Fantastic experience. We had kids with us ranging in ages from 2-17. It was a great activity for all ages! Bikes were a lot of fun and it was a great way to see the area. Highly recommend!!

Best way to check out Sandringham. Beautiful bike path all the way to Williamston. The bikes are so easy to ride and the seat is extremely comfortable. The range of the batteries are more than enough for you to explore around town. Really really nice owner who gave us a good run down of the area. Thank you for looking after us! It was an outstanding experience from start to finish! The booking process was incredibly smooth, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They took the time to ensure I was comfortable with the bike and provided a detailed overview of its features.

The e-bike itself was top-notch – well-maintained, easy to handle, and had excellent battery life. It made exploring the beautiful scenic routes near Melbourne effortless and enjoyable. One of the highlights of our ride was the quick and easy journey to Brighton Beach and Black Rock. The e-bike made it a breeze to travel between these picturesque locations, allowing us to fully enjoy the stunning coastal scenery without breaking a sweat.

Riding along the coastline, we were treated to breathtaking views of the ocean, charming beachside towns, and pristine sandy beaches.

The added boost from the electric motor was perfect for tackling any small hills and longer distances, making the entire experience incredibly enjoyable. The staff were also fantastic, offering great tips on the best trails to take and always being available for any questions.

Amazing experience and lovely owners! A must do if you want to explore the beach area at your own pace. The battery is more than enough to last all the way to Chelsea beach and back and then some!

A really fun experience - perfect for couples!! Especially with the roads mostly flat and a nice sunny day. My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed the lovely scenic ride through the coastal route of Brighton/St Kilda (completed within 1 hour). It was one of the most relaxing and fun dates we've experienced - can't wait to return soon for a longer day trip!

Even if someone can't bicycle they can comfortably fit on the seat behind. There are foot rests for the back passenger and unlike most bikes, the seats are definitely much more cushioned. The small basket at the back can be used to store picnic food and there's also a phone holder at the front. There are multiple options for the duration of hire - ranging from 1 hour to an entire day. All of the different trails/routes offer stunning views with plenty of coffee stops. I would definitely recommend Bay Bikes as a romantic date idea or for families that want to spend quality time together.

Bay Bikes was amazing! The owner was so friendly and accommodating. It was our first time doing e-bikes, and they were really easy to use and comfortable to ride. The bikes are in excellent shape and we were even able to accommodate our 4 year old with a child seat. Our daughters (14,12) each had their own bike. I suggest booking ahead to make sure you can get the child seat if you need one. The bikes can seat 2 people, but we each had our own bike. We did 2 hours, but could have easily done more with all there is to see along the way. We will definitely do this again, and look forward to bringing visitors back to see the beautiful bayside by e-bike.

Groovy electric bikes! We had a fabulous full day exploring with our group of 5. There are excellent bike tracks from Sandringham along the coast so no need to ride on the road. Excellent customer service. Recommend for a novice to experienced rider of any fitness level.

Super ride on the e-bike. Way more power than I needed/wanted and I turned the power-assistance right down so that I got some exercise :) The breeze on the way back was easily nullified by the bike. Sandringham (near the station and parking) is a great launchpad for a ride to Port Melbourne. Thanks, Jan, for this great service.

Great fun today exploring the bay on these bikes. The bikes are super quick and we had fantastic service.
Also good that they’re close to the train station so you can easily get to them from the city to start an adventure.
I would advise booking for four hours because you’ll want to keep going and enjoy lunch during your ride!
