Absolutely awesome experience. Sam was fantastic and persistent on getting us a catch, which he most definitely did. Great catch by all on board this morning and the best part is getting to eat it straight after. Best fish I think I've ever had, so fresh, light crispy. A "must do" when in Darwin for sure.

I fished with Sam for two days and couldn’t recommend him more highly. We landed several metre-plus fish on both days, making it a great all round experience. I also brought my young fella on the first day, and he absolutely loved it.
Sam was patient, accommodating, and great to spend the day with. Booking the second day at short notice was no issue either, Dan made the whole process easy and was very flexible. A fantastic experience from start to finish.

We did a charter with Sam on Thursday morning and it was great! Sam was super knowledgeable, friendly and a passionate skipper. We caught a variety of fish and almost caught some big jewfish, but the sharks got to them first. Highly recommend. Great value for money.

This was my first time ever holding a fishing rod, so I honestly had no idea what I was doing at the start. But somehow, with a bit of luck and a lot of help, I ended up catching a really big fish and quite a few others too. It was such a fun and surprising experience.

A big thank you to Sam, our guide. He was so patient and skilled, and you could tell he really knew what he was doing. He kept moving the boat to different spots to give us the best chance of catching fish and it really worked. As a complete beginner, I felt well taken care of.

One of the highlights was after the trip. We took our fish to a restaurant and had them cook it for us. Eating fresh fish and chips that we had just caught ourselves was such a special moment.

Overall, it was a really enjoyable and memorable day. Great service, great experience, and lots of fun. I would definitely recommend it even if you have never fished before like me 😄

Fantastic! Wow! Went out with Sam, an absolutely passionate fisherman loving his job and that shows in the amount of thought, expertise, and energy he delivered in the harbour reef 4h 1/2 day charter. Perfect fishing experience, got 5 massive fish almost a meter and heaps of little guys with great colours. Sam took great care of us so all we gotta do is rock up, if we wanted we could bring beer, and go fishing, he takes great care of everything and is a great energy for bringing the group together!

Talked the talk After doing a lot of these tours around was very disappointed.
On getting on boat captain talked it up about all the big fish he was catching last few trips
By the end all he could do was apologise over and over
Women and kids on the trip couldn’t read the boat
All in all didn’t have the live bait to hit the Barra hard as the previous trips been on around the area. Lures were not Woking didn’t change colours or try different ones.
Asked us where we wanted to go or spots.
Shame as was told this trip is the best!!!

Great fishing Great boat Sam was the best captain all tackle was provided to us and was high quality tackle. We had great fun and caught 2 metre jewfish and at least 12 golden snapper and lots of stripeys.

Thanks to our Skipper Sam for a fantastic day out on the water. I booked a last minute full day charter knowing the conditions would be challenging. With a positive spirit, Sam was relentless in moving about his spots, taking the currents and other factors into account until we were onto some great fish. Catching my first jewie was a bonus. Sam was constantly making sure extra rigs were on hand when needed and even brought out some lures to make the most of some queenies busting up the surface. It was great to see his sustainable approach to fishing Darwin's beautiful harbour. Highly recommend.

Best charter I’ve been on bagged out on red and golden snapper with a few queenies and a big cod and couple sharks really good day out fish constantly biting with all the spots producing good fish and really good feed at the restaurant after with the fresh fish thanks to Paul the best operator there.

Sam is the Man! Put on the spot time after time. The group caught a variety of species including a monster Dewie. A great afternoon, highly recommend it. Sam cleaned, filleted and skinned the fish and the friendly staff back at the Wharf can cooked it for us.

I got my Dad two half-day fishing charter gift certificates for his birthday. We had a terrific day with Paul; he was so professional and friendly. Lots of fish were caught and Paul couldn't have been more helpful or safety conscious. My only regret is that we weren't able to stay for what was sure to be a delicious lunch. Highly recommend.

Went out twice with Captain Dan. We had plenty of kids on the boat, Dan got them all onto great fish. Dan showed great patience with the younger ones which made the trip enjoyable for all. We caught 100 plus fish in 4 hours with a few great sized Goldies. Dan prepared some that were cooked at a restaurant near the drop off point. I would definitely use this charter again and absolutely recommend it if you are taking kids. On my next trip to Darwin I will definitely try this company again.

Good priced basic fishing charter, nothing fancy ,just fishing! Staff were great. A great bonus to have the restaurant at the dock cook the fish for lunch. Recommended, I would book again.

A little disappointing. We probably expected to catch more fish and, while pleasant, the skipper didn’t appear to be terribly knowledgeable. We were a little disappointed.

Highly recommend This is my third adventure with this fishing charter company and it continues to be great.
Each time we have caught multiple different fish which makes it interesting.
The crew are always fun and engaging. You can catch anything from a snapper to a shark. Great way to spend half a day in Darwin.

Ripper day with Skipper Paul Did the 8am-12pm charter. Had a great time, our Skipper Paul was on time, gave a thorough safety briefing. Perfect size group, plenty of room and Paul was always able to give you his attention when required. Paul was extremely knowledgeable, funny and always managed to find us some fish. We caught so many fish we were throwing them back in the last hour. At the end of the day Paul organised for our catch to cooked and we enjoyed a great lunch on the pier with our group. Perfect Darwin Experience. Highly recommend.

Caught too many fish to count and Paul was the best tour guide imaginable. He made fishing incredibly simple, seamlessly dropping in to bait and rehook while allowing me to feel like I actually remembered how to do it. My partner and I had the best afternoon…driving home with a huge smile on our faces and ready for a fresh golden snapper dinner!

OMG Darwin harbour fishing charters are amazing my wife and I had the best day out with skipper Paul who was just a true professional and all round super guy and very knowledgeable great fishing gear cool fishing boat and did he know where to drop a line the weather was superb and the fish were biting. My wife Sophie caught more than 15 awesome variety of fish all great size and was the Queen of our adventures as she was catching fish every time she’d drop in her line; was unbelievable both Sophie and I will be back and highly recommend this charter five star guys loved it

Fishing on Darwin Harbour with an experienced fisherman Gavin was an amazing knowledgable host who made us feel very welcome aboard his boat. We had an incredible afternoon on the water and enjoyed every minute of the four hours. Would highly recommend this tour.

We booked the arvo half day charter for me my mum and my brother. None of us had done a charter before so this was a first. We had Gavin. He was awesome! Easy going and easy to talk to. They take small groups (max 8) we only had 5 on our boat and it was the perfect amount of people. No big massive fish were caught but we were pulling in fish practically every cast. Took home the ones that were size and had them for dinner. Such a good experience!! I cant wait to do another one. Thank you Gavin for an awesome day!

We did a half day with Paul who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We are inexperienced and whilst the big fish eluded us today despite the extra time given, we were able to catch enough for a feed. Half day fishing charter was so worth the money , Gavin our captain was amazing, took us around the harbour looking for the big ones . Wow and yes I got the biggest Queen fish ever. That’s all I wanted was a big fish, but the thrill of pulling it in was amazing, it was so big , Gavin cleaned it along with all the other bream and snapper everyone caught and we all went back where the restaurant on the harbour cooked it to perfection. Totally recommend 👍

Gavin’s knowledge of the area together with his friendly attitude made our experience an exceptional day on the water with the kids. We have been on many ‘fishing charter’ but hands down this was the best. Thank you Gav, I hope you are paid well, you are worth every $ we paid.

Best experience! Day to relive! First time fishing charter with our daughters. Gav made the charter enjoyable and educational at the same time. Nice guy, very knowledgeable, great with young children. He took the time to chat to us and supported us to bait our own hooks. We caught plenty of fish, enjoyed his company and would highly recommend this and spend longer on his charters in future, when we come back. Girls have now decided that Dad needs a bigger boat!

Great day out We did a half day charter with Gavin as our guide what a great day we had caught lots of different species of fish then when we got back in we got the fish cooked up for us for only $15 with chips & salad highly recommend this fishing charter especially if you get Gavin as your guide was awesome we will go again next time we are in Darwin.

Great day out If you want something to do for half a day and close to the city then this is the thing to do. The fishing trip was great and we have done it twice now. The charter provides everything you need for the fishing trip. It was so much fun. The crew are knowledgeable and very helpful. They even clean and cut up all the fish you catch for you to either take home or have it freshly cooked at Fusion restaurant at the wharf when you get off the boot. Recommend to anyone.

Dan gave us the most amazing experience on the water. I was looking for a family friendly trip to suit kids and it exceeded my expectations. The best part is the local wharf restaurant cooks your catch for dinner!!

After a bit of rearranging due to scheduling conflicts (my fault) we organised 2 half day trips. Thanks Sheryl. As previous customers we knew they would find fish somewhere. The first trip was not the best weather, wet and windy, but our skipper Gavin and mate Aaron persisted until we found a spot with decent fish biting, The interaction with others on the boat was interesting and friendly. We have another trip booked for Saturday and are looking forward to it.
The Saturday trip was worse due to the weather. Our skipper Paul used all of his 23 years of experience as a guide but the wind and the rain blew everything out, thanks to Cyclone Megan.
We can't fault the professionalism and knowledge of the skippers. It was just bad luck that we chose the wet season to visit.
We will definitely use them again.

We had the best day with Captain Brendan! Caught a variety of fish and learned a lot. Highly recommend. Location was easy to get to from our cruise ship. They also helped us adjust our schedule when the cruise ship changed our times. We caught some keepers and Brendan prepped them for us. We took them to Fusion Restaurant and they cooked them up for us - very reasonable. Brendan was able to join us for lunch, which we enjoyed!

Brendan was our Captain on Sunday for 4 hours fishing in Darwin Harbour. He knew all the spots and all 8 on board caught fish. Jew fish were a great catch and bonus was local restaurant at wharf cooked our fish and we shared the fish with our other fisherman.

Capt Paul; what a great bloke, knows his stuff. I did a full day fish. Fish not biting or bait getting chewed off by pickers we moved. He had so many places to fish everyone on the boat got something that feed the boat for lunch. Afternoon fish was even better, tides more favourable! Dan meet us for lunch made sure we where having a good time. Great Golden Snapper caught 3.5 - 4 kg

We had a great time with Dave as our skipper. Lots smaller fish constantly being caught than a few good size Goldie's and a cod. Finished off with a travali for lunch. Then off again to hunt the Barra with Dan. Good afternoon Barra not biting but finished with a goldie at knock off. Fun day good company and weather!

Don’t waste your time or money Worst charter service in Darwin! Don’t waste your money when there are more reliable services out there! Staff are rude and charter is unreliable. Worst experience ever. Big thumbs down for us

On Wednesday 30 of August myself and 4 other hopeful anglers embarked on a 4 hour fishing trip in Darwin harbour with Paul air skipper and guide. Paul new all the spots to catch fish and with the help of the GPS controlled electric motor we were able to stay in position without the tide or wind moving usa away.
We all managed to catch a variety of fish, golden snapper, trevally, golden trevally, queen fish plus more. Paul then filleted the fish and then taken to an eatery on the pier where for $15 our fish was cooked with chips and salad. A great day
