Self-guided tour, helpful advice I didn’t do a tour I just hired the bike and took it all in at my own pace. Excellent service, helpful advice on keeping off the busier roads, and I really appreciated the bike being delivered to and collected from my accommodation. McLaren Vale is a beautiful place to visit and I recommend SA e-bikes highly!

Father Daughter Day out - fabulous service! Fully recommend. A fabulous day out in the lovely McLaren Vale. Brought my 70+ dad who has not ridden a bike in 50 years. Shayne was an excellent e-bike teacher; taking the time to explain the bike and get dad on it (didn't take him long and we were off on the bike track)! Shayne's bikes are in tip top shape and starting at the centre provides convenience of carparking, toilets at start and end, bike track begins at the rear of centre. Highly recommend this as an activity - only a few moments and you are at a winery / cafe.

Ruined our cycling day Although the owner was very pleasant, he want organised, and the bikes were not of good quality or serviced, one chain broke before we even left and bikes were not appropriate sizes

Perfect eBike Experience Had the most fabulous day exploring the area around Mclaren Vale. Booking, pick-up, bike instructions were all easy and straightforward. We were give a map with trail and rest suggestions which helped a lot.

Had an amazing time with my rental ebike exploring the Maclaren Vale area and the surrounding vineyards! I called SA eBikes last minute as I do not like planning ahead and Shane came and dropped it to my current location, outstanding service. I found it a much nicer way to explore than the bus tours, you can vineyard hop at your own pace and really soak up the countryside (just don't go over the limit of course). The bikes give you great support and despite the temperatures having been in their mid-30s today, I did not feel too hot or exhausted. 10/10 recommend!

We had a really good day using SA eBikes in McLaren Vale. The team was friendly and professional, instructions were clear, and the bikes were simple and comfortable to ride. Comfortable helmets were provided and the whole process was easy from start to finish. My wife and our four-year-old daughter loved it as well. We had a day hire and went Mclaren Vale, Mclaren Flat, out to Willunga then back to McLaren Vale. Highly recommend for a relaxed way to explore the area.

I did *extensive* research into how to plan a trip to McLaren Vale and I am so glad we picked SA ebikes.

We really wanted to be able to drink and enjoy the day fully, and the hop on bus seemed super restricted, so we chose to get the train out and ebike it instead.

We got the train from Adelaide to Seaford, which usually would feel like too much effort for me personally, but it’s insanely straightforward. Train is spotless, beautiful views along the route and it runs on time to the minute. The bus from Seaford leaves 5 steps from the train and drops you right at the bike pick up - it couldn’t be easier.

The bikes are brand new, top of the range, and fully charged.

From the carpark of SA ebikes you can hop right on the trail, a path that brings you past countless fantastic wineries.

From there, the type of adventure you want to have is up to you. We skipped the big names and chose laid back chill sit-in-the grass wineries, and had the best day. Alpha Box and Lino Ramblers were particular favourites. Samson Tall was great too.

Shane went over and above to make sure we had a great experience. I 1000% would recommend jumping on SA e-bikes and seeing McLaren vale your way.

Would love to cancel plans for the rest of the trip and do this all over again.

Great bicycles for exploring the McLaren Vale area. SA e-bikes was easy to schedule, provided great service, and had good e-bikes with long batteries. We were able to have the bikes delivered at 10 and picked up from Serafino at 5. We had a fun day on the Shiraz trail and also taking some roads to taste wine. There were some hills on our route so having the pedal assist was very helpful. If you like exploring new areas on bicycles, this is the place to get bikes.

Easy day on an ebike We had a great experience with Shayne @ SA ebikes. We had never ridden one, but they are definitely the go to when cycling around hills. The process was very easy to request our bikes and pay online, a quick phone call and Shayne delivered and collected the bikes from our B & B. Would highly recommend SAebikes.

Incredible day! SA eBikes was such a great company to go with for our first time in the McLaren Vale, to the point where there is no better way to explore the wineries than via ebike through this company.
From the outset of booking, Shayne was incredibly accommodating and helpful, and when it came to the arrival and induction, he was just as I imagined - very easygoing, friendly, hospitable and gave us all the tips and insights about where to go on the day.

Bikes n Wine Had a wonderful day riding around the Willunga/mclaren vale region. The bike operator bent over backwards to make this so! Perhaps the signage along the Shiraz path could be more like the one in Clare to help steer you to the places you want to go.

Such a fun experience. Faster to take off than expected (in a very fun way), so much gusto. A great way to explore McLaren Vale and it's cellar doors. The rail trails were smooth and the views spectacular. The bikes were easy to operate, comfortable and clear instructions given. Highly rated.

Great day for a family! We had an amazing day with the family on SA E-Bikes! We have 3 kids and with the cargo bike and one with a baby seat we all had a great day exploring the region. Very comfortable and easy to use bikes with great service. We would definitely recommend for a day out with the family and would happily use them again!

Very generous customer service with a great product. We hired 4 bikes for the day, and Shayne delivered them to our accommodation which gave us independence for the whole day. When we said we had made a last minute lunch at Maxwell's which might take a while he responded to "savour every morsel" and he could collect the bikes at whatever time we got home (before sunset). Tuktuk wine tour! Got two tuktuks with a group of 6 friends for a wine tour of 3 wineries, was an absolute blast!!!! Bikes were so much fun and had an absolute laugh with passing traffic will be back!!!

Self guided Mclaren Vale e bike tour. Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Super smooth drop off and pick up of the bikes by Shayne at SA eBikes. Good bikes with big batteries, total 50km done without any battery level worries.

We were lucky enough to have a great recommendation to SAeBikes (from Christine @ the Information Centre in McClaren Vale). On the one beautiful sunshine day we had during our stay we had great bikes to take off down the Shiraz trail to Willunga. What a fantastic ride - beautiful country to cycle through. Proprietor Shayne was a font of information about the area, possible routes and of course the bikes themselves. We loved the entire experience and highly recommend his company - its all care and efficiency, with good communication & a friendly, warm service.

Boys big day out was electric The bikes are of high quality and well maintained making for a good time. we had 6 retired guys try electric bikes for the first time, we rode the resiling trail from McLaren Vale to Wilunga about 4 klm either way.
after a short bike familiarization with Rachel from the McLaren V ale Tourist Centre we all got familiar quite quickly with the bikes .A great time finished at a local cafe to celebrate the day, we all highly recommend the experience

E-Bikes + McLaren Vale = Magic !!! We had the best day exploring McLaren Vale on e-bikes. The bikes were dropped off and collected from our accommodation - such a smooth and stress free process. The bikes were in excellent condition and so easy to use, which made getting around a breeze (even up the hills!!). We were a group of six girlfriends visiting from Perth and it was such a fun and memorable way to spend the day together. Highly recommend this experience.

Excellent service, than you Shayne! Bikes delivered to our door as promised first up on a Sunday morning. When we were done riding, a quick call and all collected. So for an interstate traveller completely hassle free. Shayne also updated us on new pathways and recommended rides for us. The bikes themselves, I didn't notice the power level drop after 40km so they're good for some distance. They're not a standard style bike, small fat tyre wheels so maybe not everyone's cup of tea but we found them comfortable and easy to use.

What a great day out on an Electric bike along the Shiraz trial and back roads as recommended by Shane!! Highly recommend this experience. Stoped for lunch and a wine tasting. Heaven

Awesome way to spend a gorgeous day in the McLaren Vale. eBike was there ready for pick up from the visitors centre, super helpful and friendly staff gave some great tips on where to go. Pick up is right on the ‘Shiraz trail’. First stop farmers market at Willunga for a coffee than up Willunga Hill for fantastic views and then back through the vineyards and out the McLaren flats trail.
