Hi Adventurers,
Thank you for booking a Tassie Bound Huon River Kayak Adventure. Your trip includes transfers from Huon Jet boat office to Judbury launch site.
Mandatory safety equipment is all provided, therefore, you only need to bring are some personal items to help make your day even more enjoyable. We recommend that you bring a waterbottle, sunglasses, a cap or hat, a pair of shoes or sandals to wear on the river (they will get wet!), a long sleaved top and a warm jacket. If you are touring around afterwards we recommend to bring a spare change of clothes.
Safe travels!

Very knowledgeable guides.
Great boats.
Delicious morning tea with home made chocolate brownie.
We learned a lot and really enjoyed the beautiful surroundings.
Highly recommended!
Had we not seen in platypus it still would have been terrific, but we did! All children were surprisingly quiet in anticipation. They had asked for a swim and as conditions were good they had a quck dip at the junction of the Styx and Derwent Rivers.
There were aout three rapids just the right size for a 76 year old granny.
Liam and Fiona had lots of interesting information about the history of the area and the flora and fauna.
We all enjoyed fiona's chocolate fudge.
Liam and Fiona were masters in remembering everyones' names.
Fiona and Liam were fantastic from replying to queries before we booked through to the actual event. They both kayaked with us, they are so down to earth and passionate about what they do. We love supporting small family business.
They keep each group to a maximum of 10 people, this was a big ticket item for our Tassie holiday but it was great value for money.
We loved kayaking along the Derwent River and spotting a Platypus in the wild was a bonus!
The Derwent river and the surrounding area provide breathtaking scenery. I felt I was in fairy tale.
Tour guide was friendly as well with lots of local knowledge. They also provided chocolate browny which was the best browny I ever had.
We had 6 years old boy and we he could participate the tour as well by tandem. He really enjoyed the tour as well.
We appreciate that Tassie Bound provided this tour and it became our unforgettable memory.
Liam was an amazing guide. The river was absolutely beautiful and quiet. We had a lot of fun, it was easy, relaxing and exciting all at once.
