Wonderful, fuss free day at Litchfield NP A relaxed, easy, friendly and enjoyable day. Informative and easily adjusted to the weather conditions and number of people. Aaron our guide made all of this possible. He was remarkable. Terrific picnic lunch and picked up and dropped off at my hotel.

Aaron was a great host (our driver for the day). Very knowledgable about the area and nature/wildlife.

We swam in 3 pools 2 with amazing waterfalls. Stops on the journey to experience the termite mounds and wildlife.

Lunch was provided as a picnic style to make wraps with. Plenty of water for refills of your own bottles.

Take your towels and flip flops & of course your swim wear. You can change at the first stop as there are good changing facilities with toilets and just leave your swimmers on for the following 2 stops as they aren’t far away from each other.

Travelling was 1.5hrs to the first swim stop off spot but Aaron made it enjoyable filling us in with loads of info on the way.

We had a brilliant day out with Aaron as our guide for the day, chasing waterfalls and learning about the country. Aaron was funny, knowledgeable and respectful of the traditional owners. I had the best time with my son and highly recommend.

Absolutely loved this Litchfield tour! Swimming at Wangi Falls, Florence Falls, and Berry Springs was amazing. Our guide and driver Aaron was fantastic - super knowledgeable about history and nature, took photos of everyone swimming, and even shared them on WhatsApp. Lunch was perfect for the hot weather, and he helped my partner with bush medicine when he grazed his heel. Friendly, fun, and unforgettable - highly recommend!

Fantastic. Well worth it. Aaron was a great bus driver. Lots of fun interacting with the passengers, and passing on his knowledge of the bush and the area. Chatty driver A generally good day. Our guide was Leigh, nice chap and a good driver, but he did not shut up the whole day and often contradicted himself - after a long day in the hot sun, some silence would have been welcome.

Arrived on the Crown Princess and Aaron picked us up and we had an amazing time. Aaron was so knowledgeable and we learnt so much about the area and history.
The swimming areas were amazing and a lovely lunch as well. To top it off we visited the Butterfly Farm for refreshments on the way back and what a character the host is.

Thank you to the team and particularly Aaron for making it a memorable first time adventure for me in Darwin, I’ll be happy to recommend you to anyone I know visiting the area.

Great trip and tour guide Wonderful experience - loved all the swimming spots with bonus of First Nations eduction provided by our tour guide Aaron. Learnt about the plants enroute and other unique offerings the country had to offer in the dry season, including the type of birds. Use of pool noodle highly recommended which thankfully our guide had plenty of :)

Litchfield adventure Three of us took this tour. Our driver/guide was Aaron, who is very knowledgeable as well as entertaining. We visited three gorgeous swimming areas and the Magnetic Mounds. Along the way we learnt about bush medicine and endemic flora as well as some Darwin history. Aaron was very considerate of the limitations of some in our group and made sure all were able to experience the park as they wished. We all had a great day. Thanks Aaron.

So much fun jumping of the rocks into the pool Aaron was a great tour guide. Warm, friendly, helpful and a wealth of information - plus a good sense of humour.
The different falls were beautiful and we reached them all before the crowds or had an area to ourselves (best ever!)
Stopped and explained a lot about the flora and fauna and the history of many places. Plenty of stops for photo opportunities, plus he took lots of photos if everyone in the pools and shared them later.

Had a wonderful day exploring Litchfield National Park with Aaron today. Great tour guide and very knowledgeable. We got to swim at 3 different locations which was fabulous. Aaron went out of his way to show us a great time. The picnic lunch was great and the mango smoothy at the Butterfly Farm in Bachelor on the way home was very refreshing. It was a lovely day. Fantastic day in a small group (11) tour with a knowledgable and informative guide, Aaron. A relaxed pace even though we packed a lot in - three swim spots (avoiding the crowds), interesting roadside stops to learn about flora and fauna, leisurely and tasty picnic lunch, drink stop on the return at the very unusual but lovely Butterfly House! Highly recommend.

This was the best tour I’ve ever been on! Our guide Aaron was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much fascinating information about the local plants and wildlife. He even let us try the unique taste of some special ants, which was such a fun experience! We visited three beautiful pools for refreshing swim, and the lunch he provided was absolutely delicious. On the way, he also stopped by a farm and let us pet an adorable little piglet – such a lovely surprise! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. It was truly unforgettable!! Thank you Aaron 😄

An excellent day tour exploring Crocodylus Park and the waterfalls at Litchfield National Park. The tour guide, Aaron was friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic to share his local knowledge with us. It was a small group tour and we quickly become friends. This made the day even more enjoyable. It was a full day with varied activities, snacks and lunch was included. The tour of Litchfield National Park exceeded all of our expectations. Aaron was a great guide, getting us to all the places with a story or two along the way. The swimming spots were absolutely breathtaking. Lunch was great and water was provided. If you’re wanting to explore this beautiful place, we would recommend doing it with Litchfield Park Adventures.

Arrived in the Wet Season and was told by some tourists that there were no waterfalls open to swim. Booked with Aaron who took us to 2 amazing swimming spots and another to have a delicious lunch and provided excellent commentary during the day. We loved our Litchfield experience- highly recommend 👌

Great Trip with Great Guide This is a great tour and highly recommended. Aaron was a great driver/guide and was knowledgeable, friendly, and a careful driver. We saw a lot of Litchfield National Park in a short time including swimming in waterfall plunge pools and seeing a lot of wildlife.

Well worth your time if in Darwin on a cruise, especially if you want to get a taste of the NT outside of the city.

One major plus is we were picked up just outside the cruise terminal so no need to take the expensive shuttle into town.

It was a great tour with an entertaining tour guide Tour to the Litchfield National Park with the “Litchfield Park Adventures” was memorable. Tour included visits to many major water falls. First to Berry springs which had a beautiful weir like low cascade where we had our first plunge, then to Florence falls and Wangi falls at the later we were able to take our second plunge, thereafter to Buley rock hole area where we finally took another dip on the moderately flowing creek just before it cascaded into a pool which too was a popular plunge pool. En route to Buley Rock holes we were shown the Shady Creek which was a shallow stream calmly flowing under vegetation giving it plenty of shade. With the mid-day heat each of the dips revitalised us and it was real fun to be in cool spring water pools. Tour operator had provided ample number of pool noodles for floating. The coach had chilled drinking water to refill whenever we needed. After our second dip at Wangi falls it was time for the picnic lunch that was laid down by our guide “Aaron” in the picnic area. Picnic lunch comprised of a good spread of food items and we enjoyed the wraps and the fillings very much. At each of the places we visited, Aaron gave a fair description of what we were seeing and at times he stopped the coach on wayside to show us various things. Once it was to show us a flower having an orange yellow colour which was identified as a Grevillea pteridifolia carrying abundant amount of fragrant and sweet nectar, then at the park entrance to show the giant Cathedral Termite Mound and next to it to show us some Turkey Bushes bearing pinkish red blooms with its leaves having a strong smell and supposed to have the potential to repel insects. The Cardinal termite mound was an active mound where the termites were seen repairing a small damage that has occurred to its outer structure. Where the termites were active, it had a gummy substance appearing on the surface which was having a Vanilla like smell. We were shown the Bush Cabbage, the beautiful Pandanus spiralis where the leaves were attached spirally and the Sandpaper tree leaves.

It was amazing to see and learn about Magnetic termites and their mounds. We received a lot of information about all the things we were shown and we enjoyed the entire tour being with very jovial, entertaining and extremely caring driver guide “Aaron”.

Disappointing A little disappointing as spent most of the day on the bus which was cramped and uncomfortable as you had to store your bags on you and minimal leg room. The Florence water fall was great but only there for about an hour and another hour at another plunge pool. Very rocky in parts and slippery. Had reef shoes in the water but still slippery. I also thought we would have had more time with swimming and/or hiking. Wasn't aware we could purchase food at the Litchfield hotel so brought our own.

The NT experience of my dreams! Family fun for first-time visitors! What an absolutely sensational day!
From the prompt pick-up from our Darwin hotel, to the personalised experiences provided by our guide, Aaron; the whole day was brilliant and highly recommended!
We visited three perfect swimming spots which were each incredibly special in in their own ways - Wangi, Buley and Florence. We learned about and savoured traditional bush tucker on our way between stops and the provided lunch was very well-received.
Aaron was the ultimate knowledgeable guide and our small group proved to be great company. He made a genuine effort to cater to the interests of guests and I honestly can’t think of a better person to introduce us to the NT.

Magical Magical day swimming in waterholes with waterfalls. Thank you to our tour guide who made it such a wonderful experience.

We had an amazing day, our guide Dan had an incredible knowledge of the area and all the native flora and fauna. The swimming holes and waterfalls are beautiful and we were lucky enough that they weren’t very busy. Highly recommend this tour and will definitely look these guys up next time I’m in Darwin for other day tours.

Not worth it for the money. This trip was very expensive for what it offered. Van air-conditioning was not working all day,tour guide came across rude and not very friendly and impatient at times,got us lost picking people up so lost 40 minutes yet we were told when picked up when my husband was a couple of minutes late that we are all going to be late now. Lunch was served at 3pm and was terrible plus we had to help her prepare our own lunch. Lunch was very basic. People cutting up things for lunch had dirty hands,no gloves as well as tour guide. The lunch was in an esky that the ice had melted early in the day so by 3pm all meats etc were room temperature for quite awhile,hence 2 people had upset tummies the next day. Water was provided but out of a water barrel that we had to refill our bottles from. No safety warnings were given, one member had a fall and cuts to body,plus on huge under water rocks at Berry Springs. First Aid kit was very basic. It's a shame because the places we visited were beautiful and her tour knowledge was very good. She did have people on the tour looking up their GPS to help her and even asked some members that were supposed to be picked up to drive out and meet the bus when she was lost. They refused and fair enough. Was totally shocked that because of her mistake these people were asked to drive their car up to meet the bus. We were all late home after a long day too. She mentioned she was going faster to make up time. Anyhow the places we visited were beautiful. Her driving was reasonable and she was very knowledgeable.

Had an excellent day with Litchfield Park Adventures! It was a pretty affordable way to experience all the highlights of Litchfield National Park. Aaron, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and a lot of fun. Got to swim, see beautiful waterfalls, and taste some interesting bush plants. It was a great experience and I'd definitely recommend!

Best single days excursion An amazing day spent with a friendly small group and very knowledgeable and entertaining guide who went the extra effort to share his years of experience and local information on all the flora & fauna. Outstanding swimming holes under the waterfalls which were a welcome relief in the heat. Dan managed to find us less busy options, nice walks and ensured everyone was safe & happy & knew us all by name.

Our driver, Dan, picked us up and dropped us off anywhere we wanted. He was extremely knowledgeable and his love for Litchfield park was quite evident. He made us all feel like family. We saw and swam at beautiful waterfalls. Wonderful day. Only 12 other adventurers, on the comfortable coach.

Went to some amazing swimming holes, the water was a perfect temperature. The falls that we visited were stunning with a great water flow!

Our family had a great day with Aaron! He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and took very well care of everyone. We loved all the different spots we stopped off. We ended up packing a cooler with ice, water, gatorades and snacks. Bring towels, bug spray and just wear your swimsuits with cover clothes. Perfect day at Litchfield!
