I travelled with my 87 yr old mother and she loved it.
We also appreciated the extra assistance from
Sheryl and Dan as we were flying out that night.
Highly recommend for a great day
Saw a lot . Floated a lot. Very therapeutic in the Springs, near the Water Falls and in the Water Holes
Aaron knows a lot and is happy to share his knowledge and show samples of the Local flora and critters.
Highly recommend this tour
No matter what we were driving past he passed on a lot of information about the territory and its history. He answered every question with detail.
The park itself is amazing and it’s must do. I’d highly recommend this tour as it comes with Berry springs which was just unbelievable to swim in.
There was a beautiful lunch on offer once we had gotten to Litchfield which kept you full for the rest of the day.
Our guide, Aaron was there on time. Comminaction prior was excellent.
We visited several sights and he was intersting, enaging. Did not overwelmed us with inforamtion but enough for one to remember.
The tour was not rushed.
We had nice piqniq lunch with a good spread.
I would not hesitate to book Litchfield Adventures for my clients or ourselves if we are around Darwin again.
Thank you
He supplied a beautiful lunch and was very helpful with what ever request you wanted. Highly recommend. Rob & Sara
Learned a lot about Darwin, history and modern day. Was a bit apprehensive about being up close to crocodiles but very safe as long as you follow instructions from the staff, Jess and Matt. Its an enclosed conservation site. The crocs seemed to perform what was expected of them but it was awesome to be so close. There are lots of other animal experiences at Crocodylus but not part of our tour. Aaron accompanied us to the museum which was very interesting. We were then given the option for a drop off in town which was ideal. The mini bus was well worn but comfortable enough and authentic. Thanks Aaron and Lichfield Tours.
My only complaint is booking the trip via Trip Advisor caused a few issues which Viator helped me to sort very kindly. No reminders or updates on the day.
We swam in 3 pools 2 with amazing waterfalls. Stops on the journey to experience the termite mounds and wildlife.
Lunch was provided as a picnic style to make wraps with. Plenty of water for refills of your own bottles.
Take your towels and flip flops & of course your swim wear. You can change at the first stop as there are good changing facilities with toilets and just leave your swimmers on for the following 2 stops as they aren’t far away from each other.
Travelling was 1.5hrs to the first swim stop off spot but Aaron made it enjoyable filling us in with loads of info on the way.
Highly recommend. 🙌🏼
The swimming areas were amazing and a lovely lunch as well. To top it off we visited the Butterfly Farm for refreshments on the way back and what a character the host is.
Thank you to the team and particularly Aaron for making it a memorable first time adventure for me in Darwin, I’ll be happy to recommend you to anyone I know visiting the area.
The different falls were beautiful and we reached them all before the crowds or had an area to ourselves (best ever!)
Stopped and explained a lot about the flora and fauna and the history of many places. Plenty of stops for photo opportunities, plus he took lots of photos if everyone in the pools and shared them later.
Great day. Couldn’t recommend it more highly!
Well worth your time if in Darwin on a cruise, especially if you want to get a taste of the NT outside of the city.
One major plus is we were picked up just outside the cruise terminal so no need to take the expensive shuttle into town.
It was amazing to see and learn about Magnetic termites and their mounds. We received a lot of information about all the things we were shown and we enjoyed the entire tour being with very jovial, entertaining and extremely caring driver guide “Aaron”.
