The staff were friendly and welcoming when I arrived. When I ordered my coffee, I was told it would take around 10 minutes. I replied, “No problem, take your time,” and was happy to wait.
However, after waiting approximately 40 minutes, I still had not received my coffee. Throughout that time, I deliberately avoided interrupting the staff while they were busy and tried to be patient. Only when things had calmed down did I politely ask about my order.
What disappointed me was the response. Instead of an apology or an update, I was told that I should not be rushing him because he was busy.
I completely understand that cafés can get busy, and delays happen. My issue is not with the wait itself, but with the expectation that was set. If a coffee is likely to take 40+ minutes, it’s better to be upfront about that from the beginning rather than promising 10 minutes and then reacting negatively when a customer politely asks after waiting four times longer than expected.
Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling disappointed and unwelcome.

Had the best day at Treetops Adventure St Ives with my family! We stayed from 9:30am all the way to 4pm and honestly, it was such a fun and active way to spend the day.
Some of the courses are definitely challenging, which makes it exciting, but there are plenty of kid-friendly options too. No matter what level you’re on, you always feel safe.
The staff really stood out , super attentive, friendly, and always ready to help.
Definitely something I’ll be doing again!

I had a really disappointing experience here with my 6-year-old daughter. She started off excited and happy, but things quickly went downhill once a birthday party group of much younger children (around 3 years old) joined the course.
Many of the younger kids were understandably scared and struggled to move through the obstacles, but there were no staff members present to guide or assist them. This created long delays—at one point, children (including my daughter) were stuck waiting on the course for 15–30 minutes with no way to move forward or back.
To make matters worse, some parents were feeding their children from the ground while they were on the course, which only added to the congestion and slowed everything down further.
There appeared to be only one staff member assisting, and she was overwhelmed, trying to help a single child down using special equipment. I asked for additional help, but the staff seemed too busy and no one stepped in to manage the situation or keep things moving safely.
Unfortunately, my daughter ended up in tears and found the whole experience quite distressing. Being stuck up high for that long without support was overwhelming for her, and it was very hard for me to watch as well.
Overall, the lack of supervision and poor management of mixed age groups made what should have been a fun activity quite traumatic. I hope they can improve staffing and safety procedures so this doesn’t happen to other families.

We arrived 5 minutes before the scheduled session start time. However, the registration staff spent an excessive amount of time assisting the family ahead of us. When I noticed that the security briefing had already started, I approached the check-in staff to ask whether another staff member could assist us so we could join on time. I was told to wait.
By the time we finished signing the waiver forms, 18 minutes had already passed since the scheduled start time. We were then told to wait again for the security briefing. When we pointed out that our session should have started nearly 20 minutes earlier, we were informed that no staff were available to provide the training.
We asked whether our time could be extended to compensate for the delay, but this request was refused, with the explanation that there would be too many people in one session. This was particularly frustrating because while we were still waiting to check in, a large group of school children was allowed to enter the training area, which caused further delays.
We were finally allowed into the session another 10 minutes later. At that point, there was only one staff member fitting harnesses, who then had to call for additional help. By the time we were actually able to access the course, more than 30 minutes had passed since the session start time.
In total, we lost almost one full hour of our booked experience due entirely to poor organisation and staffing issues. This is unacceptable and extremely disappointing, especially given that we arrived early and followed all instructions.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating, however, as it got busier there were no staff available to help some children who needed assistance on the junior course. There really needs to be a dedicated staff member for the younger participants, as one scared child can hold up everyone else and not be able to move forward. Overall, a good experience.

Saturday afternoon, and all the staff were friendly and kept the kids we had very safe. Everyone had a great time, in large part because the Treetops team were very friendly and good at giving directions. We had a mix of 9 to 11 year olds for a birthday party and there was enough climbing and activities to keep us all busy for an hour and a half. Even though it was raining a little, the kids still had loads of fun.

The day we visited this place, the weather was perfect, and my child was very happy to be there again after a long time. The staff who explained things to us at the beginning were kind. During the junior course, one child in front of us was too scared to move forward, so a young female staff member kindly stayed with the child all the way, which we appreciated.
However, when it was my daughter’s friend’s turn to go, the course got delayed because of the child in front. At that moment, the same staff member shouted very loudly at my friend’s daughter. The girl’s mother was shocked and asked her not to yell at the child, but the staff completely ignored her.
We were very upset, not only because of the delay caused by one child but especially because of the staff member’s rude and inappropriate behavior toward the child. It left us with a very negative experience. We truly hope the staff will receive proper training on how to treat children with respect.

Having visited the Wild Ropes at Taronga Zoo the day prior (and receiving excellent service), I was stunned at how differently Dan approached customer service.
My son, aged 3, was attending a birthday party. We were told there were “no harnesses,” so we patiently waited until another 3-year-old — younger and smaller than my son — came off the course. At that point, I assumed all would be fine. Instead, Dan insisted that my son couldn’t participate due to “height regulations.”
When I pointed out that a younger, shorter child had just completed the course, he doubled down, saying he had the right to refuse anyone. That might be true, but the reasoning here just didn’t add up. My child is older and taller than the one who just came off — so the explanation felt, frankly, like nonsense.
To make it worse, according to your own website, the rule isn’t about “height,” it’s about reach. And let’s be honest — no one was actually measuring reach on the day to confirm, it just felt like he wanted to ride his power trip.
The bright side? My son still had a great time thanks to Rachel, who was absolutely lovely, as well as the young staff doing the harnessing and counter work — all of whom were friendly and professional.
One final note: your waiver iPads are truly on their last legs. A small upgrade there would go a long way in making the customer experience smoother.

My son recently had his birthday party at Treetops in St Ives. The group was mostly juniors aged between 3–7, so they stuck to the smaller courses.
The positives first: the staff were absolutely fantastic. The young girl who ran through the safety briefing and helped the kids (ranging from 4–10) had the patience of a saint and managed them all beautifully. She kept things moving, kept them safe, and somehow stayed cheerful in the rain. She was brilliant.
The junior course itself was also great — really fun, well set up, and the kids had an absolute blast despite the weather.
Now the downside:
We were told the course is “all-weather” — and to be fair, the course itself is. But the amenities? Not even close. As you can see from the photos, the designated party area was basically a swamp. There’s barely any cover for 13 kids and all the parents, so when it rained, it was a complete mess.
If this is meant to be an all-weather facility, there really needs to be proper wet-weather infrastructure. It’s not hard to imagine a few covered areas or raised decking. Thankfully, there’s a council park with decent cover about 80m away, but using that made the party feel disconnected from the actual activity. Plus, you need to arrive early to secure it — some parties missed out and were stuck in the rain.
And don’t get me started on the toilets — they’re over 200m from the main area. In heavy rain, trekking there with small kids is just painful. Again, not exactly “all-weather” friendly.
Treetops seriously needs to invest in proper wet-weather facilities or at least offer people the option of a full refund on the day if the weather turns bad.
Bottom line: The activities are great fun, the staff are awesome, and the kids will have a blast. But if you’re organising a party and the forecast says rain, be prepared — it’s going to be a battle to keep everyone dry and comfortable.

Very poor and racism service!
We have booked the service at 3:00pm this afternoon. The total session duration was 1 hour 30 minutes.
The staff could not let us start on time because there was no staff to provide the security training. We only can started at 3:30pm. But they could not let us to complete our 1.5 hours session and forced us to leave the park at 16:30!!! And my younger son is Autism Spectrum with intellectual disability. He relies on visual aids to communicate with husband via his iPhone. But the staff has misunderstood with my husband and yelled to him to stop using iPhone and even threatened him to terminate him to into the park in future.
Very disappointed experience and Will never ever come back again! Will also consider to make further complain to Ombudsman as the Service we received was not matched with the price we have paid!

You have kid and want to try is physical strength? This is amazing and the support is incredible. Is not high above ground maybe 1.8m but the safety pins never come out… they can’t! So there’s no way the kid is going to fall. And it’s so, so diverse, all types of difficulties and challenges. Kids have lots of fun.

My 4yo had so much fun on the 4-7year old course. Great day out with her starting off timid and by the end being so much more confident in her skills (and going through the courses in faster times). The course is at adult forehead level so not that scary for them, with parents right below them for encouragement.

This place is seriously under staffed on the kids courses. The course can be particularly packed when some kids were new to the game or a bit scared with some parts of the adventure. We encountered a very bad attitude from a young lady staff today. A few kids were packed at the platform after flying fox, because the first kid had problem moving the hook forward, a young lady staff member showed up after quite a while. Then my child took the flying fox and tried to land on the platform. Then the lady rolled her eyes and told my child”there are many people on the platform, you are not allowed to land, you need to hang yourself on the flying fox.” I was really shocked by such a brutal and uncaring words from a staff member. My child was scared and kept asking me why she disallowed me to land? It’s really scary to keep myself hung on flying fox! There are plenty of space for my child to land even the platform was packed. There was not a single staff member came to the crowds waiting for flying fox to inform us need to wait. Avoid this place if you look for a place that is kids friendly. The unprofessional attitude from the staff member is completely unacceptable.

Embarked on my first Treetop adventure at St. Ives and it was quite the thrill! Opted for the 2.5-hour session, which offered a range of tracks catering to different skill levels, from beginners to experts. While we managed to conquer most of the tracks, the pace was occasionally slowed by fellow adventurers navigating obstacles. Some friends found themselves held back by others struggling with gear/carabiner or grappling with fear of heights. Balancing acts pushed my limits, but adrenaline kept me going. The highlight? The exhilarating free-fall at the end – my advice? Don’t overthink it, just take the leap! I quite enjoyed it tbh. Listening closely to staff instructions at orientation is key for a seamless experience. Overall, a challenging yet rewarding adventure for thrill-seekers!

We went there on Thursday to have our 3 n half year old boy experience the adventure. It was a great place for him. He enjoyed thoroughly. Special mention to “UNCLE TOM”. He was amazing with our boy. Tom assisted Our boy through out the whole adventure. He was kind and patience enough to assist our Boy in passing the hurdles. I would like to thank Tom for his great customer service and really appreciate the way he was patience in helping our boy. We came all the way from Penrith and would love to come back again just because great person like TOM works here. All the very best to TOM and the team in ST IVes.

Exercising can be fun.
Kids loved it and asked when we can go back already.
Two courses for the juniors but there might be nothing junior about them.
If you're in reasonable shape you might be able to blitz the Green and Blue.
Great fun for the family.
Also there's a resting area for when you need to recover. And you can purchase drinks and icicles for the offspring :)

The 8yo+ courses were fun and a good challenge.
The 2 short junior (3 to 7yo) courses however were disappointing compared to other parks we have been to.
There is a huge difference in physical ability and agility between a 3yo and a 7yo and my daughter was quickly bored as there was no challenge completing the courses. There were also often little kids stuck and a lot of wait on platforms to help them go through.
I think the site is appropriate for younger children or 8+ who can access the other courses but not really catering for kids in between.
Staff was friendly and the experience was ok overall.

The climbing experience was decent before some inexperienced climbers decide to hold us back and cause me and about 13 strangers to wait around an hour and 45 minutes for them to finish. This was mainly caused by the atrocious level of staff assistance.
We were all told to call out ‘help’ if we needed help and we did that around 20-30 times at a well-above audible level, but nobody came to help.
The climb was quite fine before some inexperienced climbers and horrible staff ruined the experience. Also, before you feel empathetic for the slow climbers because they were new, this happened on the advanced course so they should’ve stocked to the easier courses, as it was their first time.
Finally, the VERY LEAST that the staff could do was patrol the climbing area, and they couldn’t even do that! As far as I could tell, they were just mucking about and not doing their job properly.

Best fun for kids to adults adventure park. Get in Early morning for maximum fun throught the different types of courses. Late bookings tend to take longer to go through courses as beginners take longer to complete some skills and can hold up frequent users with more experience once familiar with the adventure. The early morning sessions have less people so you can get the best value and experiences. Plenty of parking everywhere.

Our kids were keen to try out the new tree top and we were left with mostly disappointment, with both poor service and safety measures.
Our first hand experience below:
1. Poor safety for the junior course. The start of the junior course is not attended for the whole time we're there hence nothing ensures the children will 100% thether in.
2. Poor safety again, where the glider can be used, there is nothing makes sure kids won't be crossing underneath. The low clearance means it's completely possible for a kid to get hit - unsafe for both the children crossing on foot and the children on the glider, see photo.
3. No trial course for the young ones. There are only two very short courses for the juniors and no trial. Once a child is stuck on one of them, 50% of the two is backed up and rendered useless. This is what happened when we were there. It took a long time for a staff to finally come and rescue the little guy.
4. Service - one of my kids were harnessed and brought to the course quickly. It took 5 minutes from our 11:30 session. The other one however was just "forgotten". My husband had to intervene and ask someone to demonstrate the course for him as he was left there for a long time after harnessed. He went on the course at 11:56 - 26 minutes after our session started.
4. Service - there is virtually no staff at the junior course. We saw a little guy peeing through his pants on the course, all over the boards. No one ever came to clean it up.
I would love a response from the team especially on the safety concerns and I will not recommend this to any one to use the junior course unless the safety concerns are fixed.
