Unforgettable day spent snorkeling and visiting Whitehaven Beach & Hill Inlet. Snorkeling off Hamilton Island with family was the perfect way to celebrate a 70th birthday! A heartfelt thank you to the amazing team, Meg & Stu. Stu gave us great confidence with his expert handling of the Europa on the roller-coaster ride to our snorkeling site and kept a watchful eye on us throughout. Meg was outstanding, guiding us through the adventure, snorkeling alongside us, and connecting beautifully with our grandchildren in the water and on the beach. An unforgettable day we will always treasure - thank you!

Kurt and Adam rocked! Kurt and Adam were amazing hosts in this charter. Adam was super informative about different areas and hot spots. Kurt is one of the best skippers and gave us a ride we will remember forever. He is super attentative but also adventurous and made our ride incredible and heaps of fun with awesome music too! I'd recommend requesting these 2 guys for your next charter if you can!!! You will be in for a real treat! The boat is clean, well organized, safe, and well maintained! I loved the options and catering they do to suit your particular day and tastes! I would definitely be back using these guys 🤙🤙🤙🤙

Hamilton Island Private boat charter for 4 hours with Mars/Freedom charters We have been around the Whitsundays for 30 years and even owned our own and charters bareboats in that time.
This time we opted to have a quick run around with the 6 of us on board and boy was it worth it.

So easy and the crew of 2 were superb in every way.

Great snorkel at Cateran Bay followed by a run up to Whitehaven for an early lunch before heading back to Hammo.
Oh I forgot to mention the run out via Cid Harbour where we spotted whales before heading thru Hook Passage.
Just do it!

The best way to enjoy the Whitsunday’s We had a specular day out on Mr Cheeky with our family of 9. Adam and Jacob were our amazing, knowledgable and attentive crew, they took care of everything, and were happy to adapt and accommodate our preferred activities on the day.
Whilst is it more expensive than a day trip with one of the commercial operators, if you have a group this is a fantastic alternative to have some flexibility and memorable day out in the Whitsundays. I can’t wait until I can do it again.

Sunset magic We chartered the Axopar 37 for a sunset cruise last week and it was the highlight of our holiday. My husband and I were a little worried about taking our 2.5 year old daughter out on the water but the crew were absolutely wonderful and so accomodating - she had the time of her life! We got to go out as the boats were coming in from sailing during race week and the sunsets on the water are beyond beautiful. The platter and inclusions were fabulous - we were very well looked after. Highlight was an unexpected visit from a pod of whales following the the boat. Highly recommend and we will definitely book for a day next time. Thank you so much!

The perfect day out on the water!! As a group of 10 we booked the exclusive charter on the 37 footer. The crew of Maso and Sahara created a fun vibe from the moment we stepped on the boat. The charter included Whale sightings, snorkeling, swimming and watching sail boats. Maso changed locations a few times which provided us a true feel of the islands. We took aboard drinks and food, the crew helped where they could make the day the best it could be, nothing was a problem. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who wanted a fun day out on the water.

Best is arriving by yacht, but also by plane. The key is renting the golf cart 150 bucks. And you good to go round the island.

Awesome day out We had a great time snorkelling and swimming even though the weather wasn’t amazing , boat and staff were awesome. Food was also great.

Great snorkelling We had a great trip despite the weather not being perfect. The team took us to an amazing snorkelling spot where the fish were abundant and we got great photos. The team was very knowledgable and skirted the weather as much as possible to give us the best trip & sunshine at the beach and snorkelling spots. The boat was very comfortable for the 5 of us. Great fun!

Brilliant ‘cheeky’ blast into the Whitsundays! Had a great trip with Kurt and Bernie in the Whitsundays. We arrived at Airlie Beach on a cruise ship and had booked the private charter with Freedom as the cruise line didn’t have a trip that included both Whitehaven beach and snorkelling. We were anxious that we may not be able to do all of it in time to return to the ship but need not have worried as the trip was as flexible as could be. Kurt and Bernie listened to our wish list and made it happen with time to spare. We had a great time taking in the gorgeous scenery and snorkelling. Kurt and Bernie were very knowledgeable and helpful and the boat was superb and very comfortable. No sign of sea sickness from any of our party! Would 100% recommend the charter!

Comfortable cruise around the island with good drinks and good company. We had a fantastic time on our private sunset cruise. The ladies on board were fantastic, knowledgable on info about the Whitsundays. The deck hand was amazing, capturing insta worthy photos for us. We were able to freely move around the boat. There were 8 comfortable seats in the middle of the boat where we were able to share the provided chacuterie platter. We took our own esky on which was at the back of the boat which we were able to go and get our drinks as we pleased, or the deckhand would offer to grab them out for us. Up the front there was enough seating room for 5 or so people.
The ladies made sure that we hit sunset right as we came around the back of Hammo and got some amazing photos.
Will definitely be booking again, next time for a longer charter.

We had a great charter! We had an excellent day exploring the Whitsundays by private charter. Stu was fantastic at telling us about the islands and finding spots for snorkeling and a beach picnic that were away from the crowds. We had several photo opportunities, and we had a really fun day in and out of the water. Stu and Bernie were enjoyable and welcoming. The boat was comfortable and clean, and we recommend this tour without hesitation.

30th Birthday which we won't forget My better half surprised me and booked this for my 30th birthday after I told her it'd always been my dream to visit the Barrier Reef. We met Stu and Chris at 8.30 and they were fantastic from the moment they picked us up to the moment they dropped us back off at Hamilton island. They were so knowledgeable about the Whitsundays and a good laugh as well. We did 3 hours worth of snorkeling and they took us to the best bays for this. They took us to Whitehaven beach and the best spots for photographs; they even let us have a few beers on board. I could not recommend these guys highly enough and we will be booking with them again when we are back in the Whitsundays with our families when they visit us from the UK. Cheers lads for giving us a day neither of us will ever forget!

Hamilton Island Marina is an excellent base for fishers, boaters and yachties exploring the Whitsundays. The Marina staff are friendly, flexible and professional. The concierge service is outstanding, these talented workers to assist with initial docking or in tricky conditions at any time.
The Marina itself has an IGA for restocking, fresh clean water, power and fuel (reasonably priced considering the cost of shipping and storing it.)
The Marina is home to an excellent bakery, cafe, pizzeria and several restaurants that cater for every taste and price range. As a Marina guest, you have the keys to the resort pools, pubs and places, we loved the live music! For all of the beautiful attractions of the Whitsundays within a day's boating, the staff of Hamilton Island make this Island THE place to base yourself!

Incredible day on Cheeky Our 6 hour cruise on Cheeky was amazing! We could not have asked for a better crew with Mitch and Matt (Swanny). Mitch effortlessly glided us through the rather large swells that day and took us to some incredible snorkeling with no one around. Swanny was a great guide showing us the “must see” around the reefs. Thank you for a great day!

Great time with freedom charters! Wow were we lucky! Arriving in the rain, expectations were dead low for our trip. Before the weather cleared and skies turned blue, Chris and Jess quickly got us amped to get out in the ocean and begin our day. Before we knew it we were cruising past beautiful islands, even seeing a ray breach and a couple turtles before we even made it to the first stop. The visibility and wildlife was superb, and the dual guidance from Jess in the water and Chris from the boat only made the experience that much better not to mention a little visit from George too.

I could go on and on about the second half of the trip, the heaps of vibrant corals, and the sandbar we stopped at but I’ll end the review here. Great trip, great guides, good time.

Boat Charter We had a great day out on "Cheeky" with the team. They understood what we were after and took us to the best spots for both fish and coral. My sister, bother in law and nieces were over from the UK so it was great to show them something very Australian. The team are highly recommended.

Worth the splurge! We chose this trip because it was a smaller charter and we are so glad we did. Chris and Cody were awesome! They gave us multiple options on how we wanted to spend our time away from the crowds. The snorkeling was fantastic and beaches lovely. Would highly recommend Freedom Charters!

Great experience, perfect size, great fun Our experience onboard Cheeky was fantastic! We were crewed by Stu, Chris and Kane, all of whom were knowledgable, friendly and excellent babysitters!
We headed out promptly at 8am which allowed us to have Chalkies to ourselves, and a very quiet Whitehaven.
We appreciated the tent on the beach and loved the beach games (cricket, rugby balls and buckets/spades), esp for our children.
We had previously looked at bigger (more expensive) boats but in reality Cheeky was perfect for us (2 adults, 2 children).
We would certainly recommend!

Sunset done right! We had the most amazing sunset cruise on "Cheeky". The Skipper and Hostess were accommodating and welcoming to us. A great way to finish our final evening in Hamilton Island. The worst part was it ending so quickly! Highly recommend this with a group of friends or family.

Cheeky charter was the best! We had an amazing time on our six-hour charter. Emily and Cody were so knowledgeable and helpful in finding the perfect snorkeling spots. The boat was in immaculate condition and all the details were attended to. We had such a great time that we chartered a second day because there is so much to see. Great place to visit. We called up on 68 and were escorted to our berth. Water and power were hooked up and we hit the island. Facilities include: Floating docks, water, power, rubbish disposal, boat lifting and more.

World class marina, and world class service.

Grocery and restaurants, all steps from the marina.

Marina staff were helpful and the manager was very accomodating to our needs when we had a special request.

The whole island is cashless, so have your card handy.

Watch out as the prices for staying at the marina are high, but that's to be expected in such an amazing iconic and unique place such as the Whitsundays.

Wonderful birthday cruise We wanted to say a big thank you to Emily and Marta for our wonderful day for my husband’s 60th Birthday.
From the greeting at 8am until we said farewell at 2pm everything was just so special.
Emily was very experienced with the boat and the weather and conditions and made us feel very safe and explained everything to us about the way the trip was planned.
Marta looked after us so beautifully as well. Taking us on the hike and snorkelling. And getting some great photos with the Go Pro
Setting up our lunch on Whitehaven beach was so lovely and made the birthday so wonderful (besides the crazy birds !!)

We also got the surprise of seeing the Whale and her calf. So lucky

We booked the 6 hour private charter with Freedom charters and we had the best day trip ever! To start off with, our vessel “Cheeky” is so nice and clean with comfortable seats. Our host Amelia and Skipper Chris are simply beyond fantastic! They are both so lovely to talk to and super helpful in making sure we have the best time! We went to the chalkie beach for snorkelling followed by turtle spotting and wrapped up swimming at the Whitehaven beach. We have also ordered catering through Freedom and the food is so fresh and delicious. It’s certainly not the cheapest trip but it’s worth every penny! Well done team Freedom Charters! We will be back!

Freedom Charters AMAZING Chris and Billy could not have been more amazing. We all had the best day ever! They made us feel so welcomed, so looked after and more importantly so safe. The boat was prepared beautifully, cold champagne and fruit platters were waiting for us on arrival. Throughout the trip we were offered cold drinks, towels and blankets for the journey back. They took us to the most amazing snorkelling places and little coves, absolutely incredible! We will definitely be booking them again next year.

A day spent travelling around the Whitsunday islands on a beautiful boat, experiencing the magic of the Whitsundays . We had to the most magic day circumnavigating Whitsunday island from Hamilton Island up to Hayman island and back. We experienced the beauty of the Whitsundays, from the white sandy beaches, the magnificent coral, the unbelievably beautiful fish, even treated to a whale with her calf. We saw all the resorts on the different islands, even called into Palm Bay resort for a drink. Our crew were wonderful Chris, driver and guide and Ella host and guide were wonderful. Chris went out of his way to meet all our expectations and exceeded them. We felt completely confident with his driving of the beautiful boat and enjoyed his incredible knowledge of the Whitsundays. Ella looked after all our needs and more, as well as giving us more fascinating information about the islands. We would highly recommend the Freedom Charters and highly recommend the premium charter, well worth it. The boat is beautiful to travel in. Thanks Chris and Ella for a truly wonderful day.

Archie is a great operator and was very helpful as we moored our bareboat. He deserves 5 stars. It was disappointing that considering the mooring fees that we had to spend so much time troubleshooting power feed issue. So many pedestals didn't work. Marina facilities were otherwise fine. Power issue was a pain though.

We stayed overnight on the boat .Archie was there to help us to our mooring.He was friendly and helpful he went above and beyond to help my injured husband .Archie got him crutches from the dr and then drove him to the dr appointment and then he gave us his private number and told us to call him when we needed to go back to the boat .Nothing was to much trouble for him ,he has only been at the island for 5 months.He would be a asset to any business and he was only early 20s .

Highlight of our holiday The beach drop off (we were asked if we wanted this once on the boat) was just beautiful. We were lucky the conditions were so perfect for us as this wouldn’t always be possible. It was great for the kids to stretch their legs. It just would’ve been nice to know about this the day of our sunset cruise so we could’ve worn swimmers and packed a towel / change of clothes. Although it didn’t really matter. Our skipper was great - he had music going of our choice, and even took some drone videos which is a great memory of our trip. The boat was nice - perfect size for 4 guests.

Fantastic 4 hour cruise We had an incredible time on our charter with Captain Mick. We were able to fit in an impressive amount of locations for our 4 hour cruise.
