Important Tour Information

• Child Rates: Apply for children aged 3–12 years.
• Adult Rates: Apply for anyone aged 13 years and over.
• Onboard Dining: Food is not permitted to be eaten onboard the vessel unless prior approval is given.
• Wild Encounters: These are wild animals and experiences change daily. It is entirely up to the animals as to how interactive they choose to be.
• Arrival Time: You must arrive at the Kangaroo Island Information Stop (43 Howard Drive, Penneshaw) 30 minutes prior to departure. 📍 The Information Stop is located directly opposite Christmas Cove Marina.
• Accessibility: Please note there is no wheelchair access onboard the vessel.
• Cruise Ship Guests: If you arrive via cruise ship and cannot reach Penneshaw on your tender, your tour can be cancelled (to claim via travel insurance), or we can hold a credit for you to use within a 3-year timeline.
• Tour Operations: Tours may be cancelled if minimum numbers are not reached, or due to unforeseen circumstances or unacceptable weather conditions on the day.

Cancellation Policy

• A FULL refund is provided to guests if the tour is cancelled due to minimum numbers not being reached, unforeseen circumstances or poor weather conditions and an alternative time is not established to undertake the tour.
• NO refund is provided to guests for non-attendance at scheduled tour time.
• Guests can reschedule the tour if required, provided that more than 48 hours’ notice is given to Kangaroo Island Ocean Safari.
• All bookings cancelled within 7 days of scheduled departure will incur a 50% charge of tour costs. Alternatively, a credit can be held for you to use within a 24-month timeframe.
• All bookings cancelled within 48 hours of scheduled departure will not receive a refund, but a credit can be held for you to use within a 24-month timeframe.
• If you arrive on a cruise ship and cannot get into Penneshaw on your tender on the day, your tour can be cancelled (and you claim costs through travel insurance), or we can hold it for you to use within a 3-year timeframe.
