8 Hour Premium Tour Experience
Experience the ultimate full-day Esperance adventure with our luxury 8 hour 4×4 coastal tour, designed for travellers who want to go beyond the ordinary and see the wild, remote and breathtaking side of our coastline.
Your day begins with pick up from your accommodation before setting off in our premium Land Rover Discovery 4×4 vehicles. From the moment the tyres leave the bitumen, the adventure begins. Feel the thrill of our signature heart-thumping rock climb, take in sweeping coastal views, and discover ancient limestone bedding hidden amongst the white sand dunes — a rare and fascinating glimpse into the natural history of this incredible landscape.
From there, we continue into the world-famous Cape Le Grand National Park, where morning tea is enjoyed at Lucky Bay, one of Australia’s most iconic beaches. Guests can relax with refreshments, spot kangaroos on the sand, and take in the dazzling contrast of turquoise water and pure white shoreline.
The journey continues through some of Cape Le Grand’s most loved coastal locations, including Hellfire Bay and Thistle Cove. These stops offer dramatic granite headlands, sheltered bays, coastal walking opportunities and postcard-perfect photo moments.
After exploring the national park, we travel east towards Condingup for lunch at the iconic Condingup Tavern. This relaxed country-style lunch stop adds a true local touch to the day and gives guests time to unwind before the afternoon adventure begins.
The afternoon is all about remote coastal beauty. We head towards the Duke of Orleans Bay area to discover Little Wharton, Wharton Beach, Victoria Harbour and the ancient revealed forest exposed along the coastline. This section of the tour showcases some of Esperance’s most pristine beaches, wild ocean views and hidden natural features, with time to swim or snorkel when conditions are safe.
With experienced local guides, premium 4×4 touring, remote beach access, local stories and unforgettable scenery, this is Esperance at its most adventurous, beautiful and luxurious.

Spring
Springtime is one of the most magical times to explore Esperance and the eastern beaches. The drive can be filled with bright yellow canola fields, wildflowers, emus, kangaroos and the possibility of spotting whales along the coastline. It is a beautiful season for photography, nature lovers and guests wanting that colourful country-to-coast experience.
AutumnAutumn is often loved for its calmer waters and minimal wind, making it a beautiful time for beach exploring, snorkelling and relaxed coastal touring. The days can be stunning, but the air can still feel cool, especially near the water, so guests should bring a scarf, jacket or warm layer.
SummerSummer in Esperance can be hot, bright and wild. Conditions can change quickly, so guests should be prepared for anything — sunshine, wind, strong UV, cooler coastal breezes or sudden changes in beach conditions. Swimmers, towels, sunscreen, hats, water bottles and light layers are highly recommended.
WinterWinter can be cold, rainy and dramatic, with higher tides, bigger swell and changing beach access. This season brings a raw and powerful side of the coastline, but tours may need to adjust depending on weather, tides and safety conditions. Guests should bring warm layers, a rain jacket, enclosed shoes and a sense of adventure.
Swimmers, towel, snorkel gear, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, water bottle, comfortable clothing, enclosed shoes or sandals, a warm jacket or scarf, camera or phone, and a sense of adventure.
Esperance weather can change quickly, so we recommend being prepared for sunshine, wind, cool coastal air and changing beach conditions all in one day.
Tour route and timing may change depending on tides, weather, beach access, road conditions and safety requirements.
Swimming and snorkelling are optional and only available when conditions are suitable.
The ancient revealed forest is a sensitive natural and cultural site. Guests must view respectfully and avoid disturbing the area.
Lunch arrangements may vary depending on group size, tavern availability and final package inclusions.

Brett picked us up from our accommodation in a very spacious, clean and comfortable Range Rover.
Brett took us an on adventure of a lifetime while driving along the pristine sands of Esperance as he navigated his way along the beach and over some amazing sand dunes en route to Cape Le Grand National Park. Brett was safety minded and stopped to assess the conditions before tackling some of the more tricky portions of the drive. We stopped regularly for breaks and photo opportunities. Brett displayed some of the parks most pristine and well sort after locations such as Hell Fire Bay and provided a fantastic morning tea on Lucky Bay.
The highlight of the trip, was driving up a Massive rock formation at Wylie Bay. Wow! What an experience. Made my parents day and trip.
Do yourself a favour and book one of these tours! They are great value for money and provide other options such as air tours as well. No better way to experience what Esperance has to offer.
Thanks to Brett and the team ????????
This was an incredible tour that went for about 4 hours, and no part was boring at all. Peter was our guide and driver and was a great host, providing us local knowledge and information along the way, which helped make our trek so great.
We had several stops to take in the scenery and had a wonderful pre-prepared morning tea at Lucky Bay. They supplied hot tea, coffee, soft drink, water, and hot chocolate. Plus a lovely selection of sweets from Bistro Louis in town. Donuts, brownies, and cheesecake really hit the spot.
On the way back, we were able to do a breathtaking climb up a tall rock face, which seemed like about 70 degrees and at least 70 metres tall. For a first time four wheel driving for us, it was quite an amazing and unexpected surprise.
If we were staying longer, we would end up doing one of the other tours as well.
Highly recommended and a must-do activity with Fly Esperance if you visit here.
What a wonderful experience! Easy and fast booking, efficient pick-up at our campground, and absolutely brilliant 80 minute flight over the coastline and the "pink" lakes. Peter, our pilot, is a brilliant guide with lots of interesting things to say about the area; he is also a "smooth rider" which makes for a comfortable ride! We had a blast!! Thanks team Fly Esperance for such a remarkable moment. We will be back!!
Just do it !!!
Ben was a fantastic tour guide who had the answers to everything.
Fantastic service, the day started with getting picked up from my house and driven to the Cape Le Grand National Park along the beach. At the National Park we had a lovely morning tea along Lucky Bay, looking at the white sand and bright blue water.
The day continued with more beach driving back into town and to the airport for a scenic flight over the rainbow lakes, although it was a bit bumpy (must bring motion sickness tablets next time) the views were amazing. Seeing Esperance by sky is a completely different experience that every local should experience.
After landing we had a lovely lunch at the Condingup Tavern and flew back to town via the ocean.
Fantastic experience and Ben was amazing, could not recommend it enough
The coastal scenery from Twilight Beach all the way to Cape Le Grand National Park was amazing and then the return inland flight over the rainbow/pink lakes was breathtaking.
We would highly recommend this flight as great value and a must do.
Tony and Elaine O’Dea from Brisbane.
Thanks Fly Esperance for a great experience.
Unless you are very short, don’t need to hear the commentary and don’t mind the the pilot texting whilst flying I do not recommend this company.
Jacob(?) our pilot was a wealth of knowledge and I enjoyed listening to him tell the other couple about what we were seeing and learning a couple of things as well.
We had the best day weather wise and I got some amazing photos.
Highly recommend locals and tourists give the flight a go
Later that day we were scheduled to go on the 80 minute scenic flight - due to an unavoidable set of circumstances this had be to be rescheduled and Chris couldn't have been any more accommodating for us, working around our plans the next day to ensure we would still be able to have this amazing experience. We flew first thing the next morning and it was another must-do - having never been on a plane like this before I was a little nervous but we had a great smooth ride and it was worth it to see the sights of Cape le grand and the rainbow lakes from the air. Genuinely don't think we could have had a better time with Fly Esperance and I'd recommend to anyone!
Both our pilot yesterday and our driver, Ben, today were personable and knowledgeable young men, who were good company and excellent at their respective jobs. They are to be commended.
The 4x4 is in a very comfortable Landrover Discovery. Hope that as the business grows they stick to providing comfortable and uncrowded drives at a little extra cost rather than go for quantity.
Would recommend anyone visiting Esperance to use their services.
Brian & Joan Cairns
Definately will be going again!
I also booked the shuttle to and from Esperance airport, which was also great: always on time and very friendly staff.
A must do in Esperance!
