Manuella did an amazing job.
She was very helpful and super friendly.
Everything was made soo easy.
We then met Nawel at Blues Point, she set up the picnic with absolute perfection.
Me and my Mrs had a beautiful picnic with amazing food and a stunning view.
Highly recommend to anyone looking for a luxury picnic. Good work Graze and Gaze
However, I felt that the actual experience didn’t live up to the hype. I went on a guided tour, and while the guide was knowledgeable, the tour itself was fairly short and didn’t cover as much as I expected for the price. I also wish there was more access to the inner spaces — a lot of areas are off-limits unless you're attending a performance.
Speaking of performances, I didn’t catch one during my visit, but tickets seemed pretty expensive, so I opted out. It’s clear that the Opera House is a major cultural hub, but for tourists just passing through, I found it a bit touristy and commercialized.
All in all, it’s worth a visit for the photos and the architecture, but don’t expect a deep or immersive experience unless you’re really into the arts and willing to pay for a show.
We bought our tickets just inside the Opera House. The process was smooth, and the staff was friendly. Our guide was fantastic—passionate and articulate—clearly conveying the rich history and fascinating stories behind this iconic landmark.
The views from the Opera House are truly unique!
After the tour, we were thrilled to discover that we could purchase discounted tickets for a performance of "La Bohème" because of our earlier tour. This was a delightful bonus! The opera itself was a stellar experience, making our visit even more memorable.
I travelled alone, but it really doesn't matter, with a very engaging and informative guide (Tim) and many opportunities to ask questions, take photos etc along the way.
Set against the iconic backdrop of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House, our private picnic was beautifully styled with soft cushions, florals, and a delicious gourmet spread. As we settled in, a live acoustic singer began to play — gentle love songs that felt perfectly timed with the setting sun. It honestly felt like the world faded away for a moment and it was just us.
What made it even more special was the professional photographer quietly capturing our smiles, laughter, and the in-between moments we’ll now never forget. The photos turned out stunning — so natural, yet full of emotion.
Everything was so thoughtfully planned, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. It was relaxed, romantic, and effortlessly elegant.
Whether you're celebrating an anniversary, planning a proposal, or just want to spoil someone you love — this is a once-in-a-lifetime kind of date. We left with full hearts, beautiful memories, and photos we’ll treasure forever.
I’ve visited Sydney from the uk a few times over the last 30 years and always came here - I thought this visit the Rocks and the Ricks Market in particular were looking tired?
But ok for a few hours.
A special thank you to Marnelli for her exceptional patience and professionalism throughout the entire booking process. She was attentive to every detail and went above and beyond to accommodate all my requests. This picnic wouldn’t have been the success it was without her dedicated support.
The setup was absolutely stunning — beautifully curated with elegant touches that made the entire experience feel magical. Every detail felt thoughtfully planned, creating a picture-perfect moment for us to enjoy.
I highly recommend Graze & Gaze to anyone looking to plan something truly memorable for their loved ones.
From our very first message, Laura was warm, professional, and so attentive. She listened to every little detail I wanted, offered suggestions and kept me updated. When the weather looked uncertain she stayed on top of it and kept me informed every step of the way, which really eased my mind. Laura has a calming nature, eye for detail, and her genuine care made everything seamless. She treated the event like it mattered just as much to her as it did to us and that’s rare and they made the day feel truly special, not just for our daughter, but for all of us. If you’re after a stunning setting, stress free planning and someone who will go above and beyond to make your vision then Graze and Gaze is the luxury picnic company to go with. The team at Graze and Gaze did not just create a picnic they created an unforgettable precious
memory. Highly, highly recommend. 💛
We were gifted it and we enjoyed the views of Vivid at Cope Point Kirribilli, the weather was looking poor for Friday so we changed the date to Sunday which was no trouble and all our emails were returned promptly leaving us feeling most comfortable in the the hands of Graze & Gaze.
Thanks girls at G&G.
In 1823, the district had a population of about 1,200, though the area was dominated by a gang known as the “Rocks Push” until the 1870s.
By the early 20th century, many of the area's historic buildings were in serious decay. In 1900, bubonic plague broke out and the state government took over the areas around The Rocks and Darling Harbour, with the intention of demolishing them and rebuilding them. More than 3,800 houses, buildings, and wharfs were inspected and hundreds demolished, but the continuation of these plans were brought to a halt, due to the outbreak of World War I.
During the 1920s, several hundred buildings were demolished during the construction of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. And, while they wanted to keep demolishing in 1971, efforts were halted by local residents, both to keep rents low and to preserve history. It took four years to do so though, they won and the government was forced to restore the remaining buildings.
TODAY: Almost all of the remaining settlement buildings are still in-tact and if you wander into any of the shops, you will see how these working-class families lived. One such shop was Hathi Jewellery. If you see the old safe in the attached pics it's little pieces of history, like this, that make you want to wander into every building to see what treasures it still has.
Swing part of the city with lovely eatery's and stalls full of clothes to keep the Pld Girl happy.
It sure is lively
My wife n daughter loved the whole setting so kudos to you n your team.
Will definitely book again, highly recommended.
Thanks
Yasir
The over head earphones fantastic.
Audio was good, so we could hear clearly.
We liked it so much that we booked for a concert and dinner here.
We were the only ones in our group so effectively got a private climb with the instructors Kate and Ellidy.
Amazing experience, Kate and Ellidy were very friendly, knowledgeable and all round great guides.
The photos they took were great and well worth the purchase.
Would definitely recommend to all who visit Sydney!
The views!! WOW!!!! We were lucky as it was a clear day. We could see to the Blue Mountains to the West and the sea line out East. It was an experience like no other.
We were also with a 17 year old - who loved the experience as well. Whilst we are all fit, it was not overly difficult to navigate this climb. I would strongly recommend this activity.
