Swan river cruise Leisurely sail on the swan river from Elizabeth Quay to Fremantle we even had dolphins as company. Only downside due to a group of 6 adults none stop talking shouting (not interested on the cruise) drowning out the information and the history of the area.

Fiona was an absolute delight! We couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide. She made the experience from start to finish & was so catering to all of our request throughout the day. Can’t recommend this company enough!!

We booked Aussie Perth Tour for our day 1 holiday in Perth. We went to National Yanchap park where we saw the lovely kangeroos. It was a pity we couldn’t see the clear view of the kuolas. Pinnacles had really great rock formations with perfect weather. Our last stop was at Lancelin, a beautiful and peaceful town. Our tour guide Fred was amazing and explained to us Perth’s history throughout the journey. Booking was without hassle and the friendly receptionist called to double confirm the booking. They had the option of picking us from our airbnb which was excellent. I would recommend Aussie Perth Tour to anyone visiting Perth. They have many half or whole day tour packages. Being the first time in perth, Fred told us to give them a call if we face any issues in Perth. Thumbs up Fred!

Interesting and fun! Fred was a great guide! He was friendly and knowledgeable! We had a wine tasting and visited a delicious chocolate factory. The wildlife park was great — saw animals we hoped to see in Australia — kangaroos, koalas, and Tasmanian devils. Fun afternoon!

Awesome Fiona was awesome at sharing about Perth and also, ensuring we get to experience each stop to it's fullest despite the slight rush.

Relaxed and informative half day tour from Perth. Interesting cave and good views of kangaroos and koalas. The cave guide was very knowledgeable. Also learnt a lot from the tour guide. Half a day was about right for this tour. Can also combine it with a visit to the Pinnacles desert to make a full day but I didn’t do it as I’d been to the desert before. Hotel pickup was very convenient.

There was no experience. Cancelled within 40 minutes of leaving and so far no refund. Don’t touch this company Disgusting! Trip cancelled with 40 minutes, as yet no sign of a refund never use this company or book through trip advisor

Terrible Day Tour -- Full Day Yanchep National Park, Cave & Hillarys Me and my wife was in Perth for 9 days and had signed up for a number of day trips covering all the major points of interests, including Pinnacles, Margaret River, Wave Rock etc. Then, we had one free day, which we decided to fill by taking this full day Yanchep tour with cave and visit to Hillarys. We were a bit apprehensive at first because the price was quite hefty, AUD$200+, that doesn't include any meals, or expensive entry tickets. Nonetheless, since we had time to kill, we went for it, hoping for the best.

The tour didn't start well. I tried to call and confirm the pick up time and location, and also inform Aussie Perth Tours about a potential road closure at my hotel. Nobody bothered to reply to my message and calls were engaged all the time.

The driver came to pick us up at 9am. We were shocked to learn that we were the only 2 customers. That didn't bode well

As it turned out, this is the most over-sold, and over-priced tours I had in Perth.

Along the way, commentary was minimal, almost non existent. The places we visited were anything but interesting. The cave tour was boring, very badly lit, and the guide was basically talking to himself most of the time. Then, the driver dropped us at a spot in Yanchep Park, telling us to roam around for 15 min, without telling us anything else -- eg the significance of the place, or what to see or do. So we wondered off, trying to spend the 15 minutes meaningfully. Basically there is nothing to see or do. We went back to the van, and the driver wasn't even there. 8 minutes later, he returned to the van, with his breakfast. I guess the spot was chosen so that he can get his breakfast?

Then, a short distance drive later, we arrived at the Koala place. All the koalas were all high up in the trees. Nothing to see there. Then, the driver said to drive us to another place, without saying what is there. I thought we were supposed to have some kind of bushwalk or something or see some kangaroos in the wild, like what the tour description said . but no.

We arrived at this park. Again, he dropped us off, and told us to roam around for 30 mins, again, without offering more information about the significance of the place, what to do, what to see. Again, we had to try to spend 30 minutes of our time meaningfully at this park, which we failed.

After the agonizing 30 minutes passed, he drove us to the Hillarys. After telling us there are food places in the mall, and there is this Aqua place we can visit (tickets not included), he again dropped us off, without any further information. He then said another van will pick us up and return us to the hotel at 3:30pm. If we ended up earlier, we can call them to send a driver early.

The marina was nice, but the mall was very run-down. Nothing to shop there and nothing much to eat. Again, we had to somehow stretch our time to fill up the 2.5 hours we have. Again, we failed because there is simply nothing to do there. (The Aqua tickets were expensive. We are not doing to spend more $$ after spending $200+ each pax for this useless tour).

After lunch, we couldn't stand it any longer and called them to pick us up at 3:15pm.

In summary, this tour is the worst !!!!! DO NOT sign up for this tour. This is the MOST OVERSOLD and OVERPRICED tour. Considering the fact that a full day Wave Rock tour (by another agency) costs $200+ person, covered 10+ hours of driving (this tour only covers 2+ hours of driving), and included lunch (this tour doesn't include any meals. The only entry was to Yanchep which is just A$17 per vehicle).

Booked a half day tour of Yanchep National Park on Viator, leaving at 9am, and set my hotel as the pickup point. Waited outside my hotel for over an hour (starting at 8:30), no show, called the office multiple times but even after their official opening time of 9:30 just got a dead line tone. Finally contacted Viator support, only to find out that they had cancelled and refunded my booking without telling me anything at all, and the support person - not me - was told that they couldn't accommodate me because I was going alone. If that's the case, why did you not set a minimum on the listing and allow me to book it in the first place? Extremely frustrating, I'm only in the country for a few days and I missed my opportunity to see some Australian wildlife. Suuuuuper cool.

A very short visit with a lot of places being skipped The tour had done a quick tour of a few section of East Perth & the weekend market in Fremantle, skipped Kings Park & Swan River. It really doesn’t worth it.

We did a series of trips with Aussie Perth tours in the week we were in Perth. We went Tom the South West Tour ( Albany, Margaret River etc) Busselton, Mandurah, Rottnest Island and Yanchep Caves. All tours were great and Fred and Fiona made us very welcome

Dolphin watching We had a great time and saw several dolphins and calves. It was a great tour and Fiona was terrific. The weather was terrific and hotel pick up was easy for us

See a lot of wildlife The trip was fantastic. We see kangaroos, koalas and even black cockatoos in Yanchep. The cave was also amazing. It was great to see the cave. Our guide makes a lot of pictures of us, so that was very nice

Disappointment I had booked to visit the Caversham Wildlife Park, followed by a wine growing place and a chocolate factory but the visits were limited to being accompanied by a driver, no visit to how chocolate is made (the factory) and for wine the same, no wine cellar visits. In short, I'm very disappointed, it's not what I expected.
The only good thing was the kindness of the guide, the driver of the minibus.

My family and I have a wonderful time with your professional staff and tour guide. Take good care of our group of 3 in a 2 day trip. Take many photos for us so we can have many of photos included all of us. As I have a tight schedule in Perth so I am not able to change my scheduled tour. Your company also accept my tour date even we have only 3 peoples. Highly recommended!

A memorable journey The 4-day itinerary was fantastic, featuring numerous unforgettable sceneries. The tour guide was excellent, providing explanations along the way and taking many photos for us. The only regret is that the entire itinerary did not include meals.

My family had a wonderful day. Tour as described and exceeded our expectations. Guide also took many amazing photos and sent them to us after the tour. These were amazing as we could all be in the photos together. Tour tailored to our suggestions. Would highly recommend????

A dream tour We had such a great time, we were lucky enough to be the only ones on this tour but Fred and Fiona made it special. Saw everything and more of what we’d hoped, will do another with them on our next trip to WA and Perth. Found some new places for them to try, beaches, sights, loved the Anzac Centre in Albany, just needed a bit more time here and have suggested that 2 nights in Albany would be better.

Seeing Perth for the first time Very friendly and very knowledgeable.
They picked us up on time and got us to all of the spots we wanted to go to. We were able to stop at a couple of places we wanted to (including the beach!) and even took us to a second winery. Huge thumbs up!

Aussie Perth Tours is a professional tour operator, highly punctual and knowledgeable. They offered various choices for sightseeing, routes, and venues. They went above & beyond expectations — special credit for not cancelling the tour even though they had only two members (me and my partner) booked.

Massively overpriced Of all the tours we did in Perth this was by far the worst value. The destination of Yanchep is a beautiful area but there’s not much to see other than the caves. That said we did enjoy the cave tour. But we did a small group Swan winery all day tour with wine, morning snacks and lunch for less per head.

Here you get transport to the area and the cave and that’s it.

Do yourself a favour. If you want to visit Yanchep rent a car for the day and you’ll do it for a fraction of the cost of this tour

SOLO IN PERTH Firstly, I would like to thank Phil and really appreciated the fact that he had given me a private tour of Perth as I was the only one.

I had a wonderful time as the tour was fantastic. Graham is a very informative and friendly tour guide and we had a instant connection. It felt like an old friend had given me the tour to places that I have never been before.

Not what was expected We were picked up and drove the the Caversham wildlife park. In the description it makes it sound as if we are touring Perth on the way there. Our guide would tell us about the construction going on and then just name the neighborhood we were in. The Caversham wildlife park was not a great experience. It is basically a petting zoo, and we felt very sad being there and seeing these animals like this. The kangaroos looked very unhealthy. If I had known this was a petting zoo, I would not have booked this tour. Then we were taken for chocolate and wine which was basically just free samples in a bin. I could have stopped there on my own without doing a tour since it was all just free samples to everyone. The description says "view how boutique chocolates are prepared locally" which we did not do. It is basically just a store you walk around in. Overall, I would not recommend this tour.

Aussie Perth Tours lacks the necessary (finacial) knowledge to make a refund through the credit card used to pay or via a bank transfer.

Explanation: I live in the Netherlands. English is therefore not my native language. Apologies for any mistakes.

I will try to make the story as short as possible, it covers many months.

Before covid broke out I had booked in 2019 a tour in 2020 through Australia for my partner and me. I had paid for all transport, all hotels and all excursions.

Due to covid I have had to cancel that trip twice (2020 and 2021)

I have asked all organizations to put the paid amounts on an account for the future.

Many complied with that request, but a few preferred a refund and did so through the credit card I paid with.

Aussie Perth Tours agreed that the two booked and paid excursions could be rescheduled.

Through repeated emails I have asked to reschedule the excursions.
Because I received no response for a very long time, I called the number mentioned on their website several times (26X)
I did not get an employee on the line.

Finally I turned to the CPA (Consumer Protection Australia) and after many email exchanges, the CPA indicated that I was entiteled to the refund, but that they didn’t have the resources to enforce the refund. (complaint reference No. 214362)

Aussie Perth Tours informed me that they have tried to refund the money through the credit card, but that this was unseccessful, and they sent copies of those attempts.

I have been in contact with my bank who was surprised that it had not worked out. The bank provided me with all the necessary information for a refund through the credit card, which information I forwarded to Aussie Perth Tours.

I also indicated that a refund was also possible via a bank transfer and that I would pay the associated costs. This can be indicated when making a bank transfer: who bears the costs.

I also provided all the necessary data for the bank transfer (such as the name of my bank, de the number of my account, the BIC/SWIFT Code)

This happened well before we left to Australia.

Before leaving to Australia (our trip: November 22, 2022 to Januari 24, 2023) , I found out that I still had not received a refund.

Because their office was located – according to their website – in Perth and our hotel (Pan Pacific) was only a few hundred meters away from that office, we walked there.

On the door was the message that the office was no longer located there and that Aussie Perth Tours only could be contacted via the website or by telephone.

Because our bad telephone experiences in the past, I sent Aussie Perth Tours an email, in which I explained in which hotel and how long we were staying in Perth.

I didn’t receive any response on that email.

To date I have not received a refund.

Remarkable detail: only when CAP contacted Aussie Perth Tours, I immediatly received a somewhat angry email from them.

I repeat again: other organizations were able to do a refund through the credit card or bank transfer. (Royal Carabian gave a refund via a bank transfer when they had cancelled the cruise leaving from Sydney on January 9, 2023; I had paid them too via a bank transfer)

IN SHORT: BE AWARE THAT AUSSIE PERTH TOURS DOES NOT HAVE TE NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE TO MAKE A REFUND

Undisclosed fees for hotel pickup Do not use this company. I had booked this tour and was told at the time of booking that they offered pickup at my hotel. I was told a week before the tour from the company itself that they can pick me up at my hotel, "no worries". The night before the tour, I was told they will only pick me up if I pay an additional $100 since my hotel was 15 minutes away (literally!!). I told them that fee was never disclosed to me, even when I had proof they already had my hotel location a week prior. I ended up talking with the company owner on the phone who was extremely argumentative with me saying I have to pay the fee. When I requested a refund due to never being told about this outrageous fee, I was told there were no refunds. They lowered the fee to $75 but that still an outrageous amount for them to drive 15 minutes. I was the only person on the tour, so nobody else was impacted.

It's unfortunate that I have to strongly recommend against this company since the tour itself, and the tour guide, were fine, and this tour is great for first time visitors to Perth. I would recommend this type of tour, but from another tour company that does not engage in deceptive business practices like this one. Customers should be told about all fees at the time of booking so they can make an informed decision whether to take the tour or not.

I thoroughly enjoyed the tour, a good pace...no one was rushed off their feet. Fiona, our driver, is a very knowledgeable guide. She was also very friendly, helpful & great taking time to assist with photos.

Too pricey Booked the half day tour cause that's all the time we had. Picked up at the front door of our hotel via minibus thinking we were going to a bus depot to get on a big bus. No, this was it for the afternoon, just the 2 of us and our driver. Nice man who showed us around Perth on the way to a vineyard a brewery and chocolate factory. Nothing wrong with the tour as such but it cost us $200 each for 3 hours. When we looked at other sites the same type of tour was only $100 per person!!! Feel a bit ripped off really.

Wonderful Vacation We took two different full-day tours of this company - to the Wave Rock and to the Margaret River. We really liked it. Good organization and communication with the guide. 1. Caversham Wildlife Park and Swan Valley: see native animals, eat local chocolate and drink local wine. YOUR GONNA HAVE A GREAT FUTURE, EH?
2. Pinnacles and Yanchep: Yanchep is boring, but does have Koalas, but they are far away. Pinnacles are amazing, Ive seen them dozens of times, still like them.
3. Wave Rock. An endurance tour, a big day, but worth it. Wave Rock, Hippo Yawn, the Salt Lake, York, Dog Cemetery, etc.
4. Margaret River Tour: Awesome. If you do this tour please ask to do Canal Rocks as an extra. Worth seeing.
5. Kalbarri National Park and Shark Bay: Monkey Mia Dolphins aren't guaranteed. Lots of driving. But you get to see some beautiful coast.
6. Perth Mint and Fremantle: you will love this, but I will loathe it. There's never any parking.

Shop around and book early to avoid this over priced, disappointing day. Our driver/guide tried very hard but was inexperienced with these tours but was very entertaining. Arranging and confirming bookings was challenging.

Great interesting and fun experience On our last day in Oz after four weeks travelling between Sydney Melbourne Adelaide and Perth we could not have chosen a nicer way to finish our holiday than visiting the Wild Animal Park and enjoying our encounters with some of Australia’s native animals. Our guide and driver Kea was a perfect companion and answered our questions and gave us interesting facts about the animals along with knowledge of Australian history, we thoroughly enjoyed our time with Kea and the tour.

Wrong information, tour cancelled without notice, staff helpless, no response, no refund. The Tour operator put the wrong information with wrong price of this tour on Viator website. I thought the price is mainly for the transportation from Perth to Pinnacle and that is only what our family need. Booked the tour and contacted the tour operator few days before we flew to Perth to confirm, but there was no response from them at all. When we we were in Perth, I called the tour company 1 day before the confirmed tour date and got the answer that they can't make the tour due to the wrong price paid, and that they didn't contact Viator, the tour broker, so there is nothing they can do for us, and they, the company owner, actually were in India for their holiday at that time :(. I then contacted Viator via online chat. Viator Customer Service Agent told me that she would send email to tour operator (whom I'd just contacted directly by phone few minutes before with no hope) and asked me "to keep the lines open" so they can contact me later for the outcome. However, there's nothing happens for the rest of that day. Since it was last minute cancellation (due to the tour operator and the tour broker faults), we can't book alternative as all other tours were fully booked. There was no response from either Viator or Aussie Perth Tours 3 weeks after we already finished our Perth trips and we missed out the Pinnacle part which should be the highlight on the list of our trip. I submitted refund request online (with the thought they should pay compensation for us as well). It's been over a month without response until I contacted Viator again today telling them that I am ready to bring the case further to Western Australia Consumer Protection if they don't refund for me. Viator agent said that they contact Aussie Perth Tours but there's still no response from them so Viator has to process the refund directly for me. Definitely not recommend The Aussie Perth Tours company. They don't even communicate to correct the wrong tour information on the Viator website or to solve the problem for customers.
