Your Cultural Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome, Bushwalking & Campfire Stories

• Warm Welcome & Settling In: Arrive at the Mbabaram Culture Park for a genuine welcome and introduction before checking into your comfortable tent accommodation.
• Guided Bushwalk & Afternoon Tea: Relax amongst the gum trees with a delightful afternoon tea. Afterwards, embark on a short guided walk through the bush to discover how local flora is used for food, medicine, and crafting traditional tools. 🌿
• Hands-On Cultural Presentation: Get up close with authentic Mbabaram tools and weapons, and test your skills at traditional spear throwing using a woomera.
• Campfire Dinner & Stargazing: Help prepare a flavoursome dinner over the open campfire, or simply unwind with a hot shower. As the sun sets, gather around the crackling fire for great food, trivia, and storytelling under the stars. 🔥

Day 2: Morning Chorus & Birdwatching

• BBQ Breakfast in Nature: Wake up to the iconic laugh of kookaburras and the aroma of a sizzling BBQ breakfast. Enjoy a hot coffee as the bush comes alive.
• Guided Birdwatching: Spot vibrant local birdlife, including Rosellas, Lorikeets, and Parrots, using our complimentary binoculars. 🦜
