If you’re a meat lover and fancy yourself cooking steaks and roasts on the BBQ, or if your meat tends to look more ‘charred’ than char-grilled, then our BBQ Meat Class is just the class for you. You’ll learn to cook your basic meats to perfection on the BBQ.

On arrival to your cooking class, you will be provided with a cold beer or soft drink and an apron before being welcomed by your Chefs for the day. They will outline expected competencies from the session, discuss the format of the day and introduce the menu.

You will then as a group start creating the first course, after an initial demonstration, all participants will get involved in the production and Barbecuing process. Once completed you will sit and eat your first creations. Next, embark on creating salads and sides for your meats. It’s now time to carve and serve the meats and sit and enjoy. Available on the day will be premium craft beer or a wine to go with the meal.

Following your class, take the opportunity to browse through our extensive collection of BBQ accessories available to purchase and take home with you. As your class approaches, expect an automated reminder from us during the week leading up to your session. If you have any dietary requirements, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at least 7 days before your class date. Please note that charges of $10 per ingredient may apply, subject to availability, feasibility, and your dietary restrictions.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy: Once your experience has been confirmed, any changes are at the discretion of BBQ School and will be arranged according to the following policy: Rescheduling: Over 7 Days (168 hours before the class time) Notice: No charge for rescheduling your booking. 7 Days to Within 72 hours (before the class time) Notice: $50 per person for rescheduling your booking. A replacement person can attend. Within 24 hours of the day of your Session: Your ticket is forfeited, and you cannot reschedule your booking. A replacement person can attend. No-Shows and Late Arrivals: Participants forfeit their experience and are not entitled to a refund or to re-book. Participants are advised to make their insurance provisions in case of unforeseen circumstances. Refunds: Class fees are non-refundable. In other cases (Double booking at a venue, Total Fire Ban, Heatwave, Extreme Rain, Hazard), we reserve the right for personal and public safety to cancel or reschedule your class to avoid any dangers and ensure our experience can be conducted safely and authentically. We will notify you of the next available date. Note: In rare instances where we don’t meet the minimum number of participants or circumstances like hazardous weather or other factors that make it unsuitable to run the class, we will contact you to reschedule for another date or offer the option to re-book. Dietary Requirements: Participants can notify BBQ School at info@bbqschool.com.au at least 72 hours before their scheduled class so that BBQ School can arrange alternative options for the booking. Please note that a $10 substitute ingredient fee, per ingredient will apply for any significant dietary requirements, such as the provision of alternative proteins or meats. Whilst we endeavour to secure appropriate alternatives there is no guarantee of an available alternative.
