What a pleasure to walk melbourne city with an informative, engaging & enthusiastic guide.
I learnt so much about melbourne and the tour highlighted how much I was missing that was hiding in plain sight.
The appreciation for the history and architecture was wonderful. On top of that there were lovely treats along the way, a gin & tonic macaron, a magic coffee, a delicious banh mi, dumplings, the best chocolate drink, some gelati, all finishing in a bar for a drink & a chat.
Feel blessed, that the weather was great for the walk & the group was as diverse and interesting as melbourne too.
A great all round tour to experience melbourne city.

Coffee lovers walking tour is a must when in Melbourne Great walking tour. Andrew made the tour interesting not only from a coffee perspective but also with history of Melbourne and the development of the city. The coffee tasting on the various independent coffee houses was great. I am only sad I did this experience on the last day of my holiday as I would have had great fun experiencing so much more coffee.

Food, History and Fun Our guide was Anson and he was very knowledgeable about the history of Melbourne. We walked at a good pace and were given some interesting history about the city and the amazing architecture around the downtown area. We visited 7 great food places for food, coffee, hot chocolate, gelato, bakery and finished at a great bar. The tour was at a leisurely pace with stops along the way. Anson was more than happy to answer questions. I highly recommend this tour if you want to see places in downtown Melbourne that you probably would not find on your own. “Foodie” tour? Not really. This “foodie” tour was very disappointing. Our guide was lovely and had an in depth knowledge of and love for Melbourne’s history. However, very little “foodie” conversation or explanation of food and very little actual food experiences! We did six “food” stops:1. A macaron
2. A coffee
3. A banh mi sandwich in a (filthy) lane way with no where to sit
4. Dumplings the highlight of the day!

Had an absolutely brilliant time today on the Foodie Walking Tour. Andrew, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable, kind and fun! I have been on many food tours around Europe and this is my first in Australia, and I have to say it was one of the best. Got taken to lovely restaurants and cafes, and ended on being treated to a drink at a fun bar. Thanks so much Andrew for a great afternoon, and as someone living here it was great to learn so much about the history of Melbourne and different locations. Great tour for foodies This tour was great. Much better than I expected. Our guide Chev was very knowledgeable as well as being helpful and friendly. I was amazed at how many little alleyways and tiny shops ( but with great food) there are in Melbourne. The tour lasted for about 3 hours but we only covered a small area the pace was good, plenty of stops while Chev filled us in on some of Melbourne’s history.read moreread less

Think architecture tour with excellent food Melbourne is a foodie and coffee paradise; Dave is an excellent guide. Some of the best family-owned hidden gems are tucked away in the back alleys. Dave knows them all. We sampled Ba Mi on crunchy bread, delicate macarons, dark hot chocolate, unique dumplings, creamy gelato, and, of course, coffee.
The tour is one part architecture tour, one part Melbourne history, and a lot of deliciousness.

We did the walking food tour with Andrew this week and had a fantastic time. Andrew was friendly, knowledgeable, and kept us engaged throughout the whole tour. We were shown beautiful sites while learning about Melbourne's interesting history and got to enjoy some amazing food from several places we would have normally walked right by. Thank you, Andrew! We have so many places we will visit when we are in Melbourne next thanks to your recommendations. The tour was definitely a highlight of our trip :)

Delicious and informative This is such a great tour. The pace is good, easy walking and so informative about Melbourne’s history. Our guide, Shev, was engaging, friendly and inclusive. We thoroughly enjoyed her commentary and the food was delicious. Great to hear about the food providers and their history too.

Great guide, Great food The Melbourne Foodie Discovery Tour was amazing! There were 6 of us on it and I believe everyone had a great time. Andrew, our tour guide, was extremely personable and knowledgeable. We experienced a variety of food and beverage while learning much history as we visited multiple locations.I strongly recommend this tour and tour guide.

A wonderful afternoon with Robert We had a wonderful afternoon with Robert who is an expert guide - he knows Melbourne’s secret golden nuggets so well and made the tour so interesting for us as much sharing its rich cultural history as well as understanding its rich culinary kaleidoscope. We were full to the brim after sampling wonderful Vietnamese, Chinese, French and Scandinavian Fare along with its famous coffee and gelato all rounded off with a cleansing beer / wine. Book the tour. You won’t regret it! Where do I begin? This was the most amazing tour led by Robert. He was just the nicest person and full of knowledge and tips for things to do and see in Melbourne. From sitting in a tiny garage eating the most amazing dumplings, to drinking hot chocolate and the highlight of the tour the banh mi. Wow!
The food is incredible. Every single bite was just sensational.
You will not be disappointed taking this tour.
And if you are lucky enough to get Robert, well your experience just took an upward turn. I cannot talk highly enough of Robert and his passion for Melbourne and its incredible food.

I'm always suspicious of companies with all five stars reviews. But after choosing the foodie tour a few days before I did it, I can vouch for the quality of the product Andrew provides - definitely worth the five stars. And it's more than just food, some very interesting history of early Melbourne is part of the presentation. Will definitely do again.

Fabulous Food Walking Tour! We journeyed through historical arcades. Visited niche French, Vietnamese, Chinese & Italian locations. We also enjoyed tasting specialty coffee and hot chocolate. Dave our guide & Melbourne native, gave us the historical and architectural context along the way.

Had a fab time on the Melbourne Dumpling Tour. Dave was very knowledgeable about the history of the restaurants and it was a great way to learn about the city! Dave did a brilliant job organising each order to meet dietary requirements. The veggie options were 10/10. The food was delicious and plentiful!! Would definitely recommend.

We had great experience with Andrew's tour. He shared so much with us about the Melbourne food scene and provided a lot of local history and color.
