Coffee lovers walking tour is a must when in Melbourne Great walking tour. Andrew made the tour interesting not only from a coffee perspective but also with history of Melbourne and the development of the city.
The coffee tasting on the various independent coffee houses was great. I am only sad I did this experience on the last day of my holiday as I would have had great fun experiencing so much more coffee.

Incredible Tour This food tour was outstanding and if I could give more than five stars, I would. Our food guide, Anson, gave us a solid education on Melbourne past and present. He’s an excellent and engaging communicator which made it easy to take it all in. The food was incredible. We went to off the beaten path places that I would have walked right by had I not been on this tour. I only had one day in Melbourne and I’m so glad I spent part of it one this amazing tour.

Food, History and Fun Our guide was Anson and he was very knowledgeable about the history of Melbourne. We walked at a good pace and were given some interesting history about the city and the amazing architecture around the downtown area. We visited 7 great food places for food, coffee, hot chocolate, gelato, bakery and finished at a great bar. The tour was at a leisurely pace with stops along the way. Anson was more than happy to answer questions. I highly recommend this tour if you want to see places in downtown Melbourne that you probably would not find on your own. It was a fun experience for 3 hour afternoon.

CBD Food Tour We had a great tour with Anson, and ended up being the only ones booked for the day so it turned into a private tour for us! Started with some architecture and history in the CBD on the way to the first destination, and ended up full and satisfied + well informed on the local area. Would recommend!

“Foodie” tour? Not really. This “foodie” tour was very disappointing. Our guide was lovely and had an in depth knowledge of and love for Melbourne’s history. However, very little “foodie” conversation or explanation of food and very little actual food experiences! We did six “food” stops:
1. A macaron
2. A coffee
3. A banh mi sandwich in a (filthy) lane way with no where to sit
4. Dumplings the highlight of the day!
5. Hot chocolate
6. Gelato
I would not recommend

Had an absolutely brilliant time today on the Foodie Walking Tour. Andrew, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable, kind and fun! I’ve done a lot of foodie tours around the world, but this one really stood out. Super informative and such a good way to get to know a new city. Andrew was amazing—confident, fun, and brought us to some awesome stops with cool bits of history mixed in. Great tour for foodies This tour was great. Much better than I expected. Our guide Chev was very knowledgeable as well as being helpful and friendly. I was amazed at how many little alleyways and tiny shops ( but with great food) there are in Melbourne. The tour lasted for about 3 hours but we only covered a small area the pace was good, plenty of stops while Chev filled us in on some of Melbourne’s history.

Think architecture tour with excellent food Melbourne is a foodie and coffee paradise; Dave is an excellent guide. Some of the best family-owned hidden gems are tucked away in the back alleys. Dave knows them all.

We sampled Ba Mi on crunchy bread, delicate macarons, dark hot chocolate, unique dumplings, creamy gelato, and, of course, coffee.

A wonderful afternoon with Robert We had a wonderful afternoon with Robert who is an expert guide - he knows Melbourne’s secret golden nuggets so well and made the tour so interesting for us as much sharing its rich cultural history as well as understanding its rich culinary kaleidoscope. We were full to the brim after sampling wonderful Vietnamese, Chinese, French and Scandinavian Fare along with its famous coffee and gelato all rounded off with a cleansing beer / wine. Discover & appreciate Melbourne’s Coffee Culture A marvelous tour for a coffee lover who visits Melbourne regularly. With a myriad of coffee bars & cafes in Melbourne, how does one start to differentiate & choose which venue for one’s morning coffee or three? Monique, our guide, treated our tour group of 8 to 4-5 different coffee establishments in Melbourne’s laneways. We were given an informal history of Melbourne’s coffee culture, history of coffee & essentials pertaining to the appreciation of one’s ’cuppa Joe’ whether it be espresso, black or with milk/mylk & filter coffee. Tasting, comparing & discussing was illuminating for us all. Monique also mentioned numerous venues which we did not visit on the tour. The baristas at the chosen cafes were skilled & happy to offer samples or cups of coffee as predetermined by Monique. Thank you Monique; I also liked the way you drew out the experiences & preferences of the guests on the tour; it all added to our appreciation of this wonderful & complex world wide popular drink.
