Melbourne’s story can be told through one street.

Collins Street is more than a thoroughfare. Once the address of merchants, financiers and the city’s social elite, it remains a place where power, prestige and history continue to sit side by side.

This small-group walking experience explores Melbourne’s most famous street through its architecture, stories and remarkable transformations. From gold-rush vaults and Gothic banking halls to Art Deco optimism and soaring glass towers, Collins Street traces the ambition and reinvention that shaped the city.

Beginning at the Paris End with a welcome tasting, we’ll wander west through grand banking chambers, hidden arcades, historic clubs, churches, heritage battles and skyline-defining buildings. Along the way, layers of old and new Melbourne reveal themselves — each adding another chapter to the city’s story.

Designed and led by Nic — a Melbourne local with a passion for architecture, storytelling and thoughtfully crafted experiences.
